Euroscepticism

Dr. Michael LaitmanIn the News (from The Wall Street Journal): “As European Union leaders head to a summit meeting Thursday, they face a crisis that could be even harder to fix than the region’s debt problems: Europeans are losing trust in the EU itself and the benefits of unifying the region. …

“EU officials and many analysts say the medicine must include centralizing more policy-making in Brussels. But European voters appear less and less open to that, creating political tensions that are breaking into the open. …

”Even the traditionally pro-EU Netherlands is souring on European integration, with the country’s governing coalition declaring last week that the EU goal of “ever-closer union” should be buried.

“No country that has the euro wants to leave it, according to opinion polls, and only in Britain is there strong political or public support for leaving the EU. But across the continent, the EU’s low public standing is depleting support for strengthening its institutions.”

My Comment: Europe has become obsolete, and if there is no integral education, the EU will disintegrate and Europe will dissolve in immigrants. Euroscepticism is justified!

The Deadly Symptom Of Capitalism

Dr. Michael LaitmanOpinion (Valentin Y. Katasonov, economist, Professor of Moscow State Institute of International Relations, Chairman of the Russian Economic Society): “I see in the plans of Europe’s transition to a negative interest the signs of overhaul of the entire banking system of usury capitalism.

“Negative interest rates on bank deposits is the evidence of the halt of the economy, which has ceased to grow, without getting any credit support by banks and diversion of money from the real economy to the financial markets. Banks are parasitized by the wealth accumulated by humankind and through the real sector of economy. …

“Today, the parasite has exhausted almost all the juice out of its victim and is on the brink of life and death. The traditional (economic) methods of parasitism are ceasing to work. We are witnessing (and to some extent becoming the participants of) the transition of the world to another financial and economic model. So, much more serious events might follow after the introduction of negative interest. For example, there might be a decision adopted by bankers to “bring to zero” all the financial assets and liabilities on a global scale.

“In the new model, the role of money will decline sharply, and their functions will be different than they are now. There could be the establishment of a rigid dictatorship of world bankers, i.e. the use of direct violence with the aim of turning people into bankers’ slaves. It is obvious that in a slave society, the role of money is minimal; slaves do not need it, and bankers do not need much money to meet their personal needs. The “golden million” will be served by the “dirty billion.” Several billion people on the planet do not fit into the bankers’ plans (or rather, they fit into the plan for global genocide). …

“Civil conflicts (and even wars) will inevitably arise as a result of opposition to the dictatorship of the bankers. … First, we need to understand: the negative percent is a harbinger of major changes and upheavals in the world.”

My Comment: One thing is certain: We are witnessing the end of egoistic development of humanity and its transition to the new socio-economic system—the integral society of the “last generation.”

Europe: High Unemployment And Many Unfilled Jobs

Dr. Michael LaitmanIn the News (from inoSMI): “The EU labor market is divided, and there is a significant imbalance between the EU member states. Thousands of German employers seek personnel to fill vacant jobs, while thousands of workers in Spain cannot find work. While the level of unemployment is record high, there are up to five million job vacancies.”

My Comment: This points out to the lack of union in the EU, to complete absence of connection and coordination. This is the main reason for the European crisis.

Is This The Time To Create A World Government?

Dr. Michael LaitmanOpinion (Bettina Röhl): “Will a way be found to control the uncontrollable global economic financial market? – There is no means to manage the global currency. Politicians and the people who drive the world economy lack the power and are only ready to declare false optimism about soon overcoming the crisis.

They watch the stormy developments helplessly, and are forced to take distracting political measures.  The world needs a balanced and equitable global government that will work in an even harsher way than the present rulers. This is the only way to pull ourselves out by the “hair” from the quagmire.

My Comment: There is no doubt that the world will come to realize the need for this. This is because an absolutely reciprocal connection will be discovered. The question is, will this happen before or after great suffering, wars, and the death of most of humanity? Integral Education suggests to humanity that instead of suffering, it should open its eyes to its terrible future in case that it fails to act.

The education offered gives humanity the opportunity to see the only possible solution: connection similar to nature and learning how to realize it, simply, quickly and reliably. And then humanity will reach the next level of its development, not due to terrible pressure from nature, but from an informed personal aspiration for this level.

The Economy Of The Present And The Future

Dr. Michael LaitmanOne hundred percent of our systems of relationships are connected to the economy. The economy is a reflection of our egoistic connections because it’s not just about finances. Even if we politely say to each other, “Hello, thanks, goodbye” or just give someone a fork, when we sit at a shared table, this is also economics because these are acts of exchange. We are not necessarily obligated to count dollars because the exchange is happening both in the energetic level and at the verbal level.

Therefore, the wisdom of Kabbalah says that the world will pass to another economy, and the present economy will simply destroy itself. And the sooner we understand where it’s heading the easier it will transition to a new economy.

A new economy is an economy of sensible consumption where we don’t consider our options but our needs and work only for them. The economy will be built upon satisfying a rational human lifestyle and nothing more. Whereas, the principle by which it works today will soon be successfully “removed” everywhere, everything will collapse.

If we don’t lead the integral education, it will be realized through crisis and bankruptcy, which already have their place now. We take upon ourselves only the educational work. We need new economists, people different from those who are found in power today.

Europe Needs Further Integration

Dr. Michael LaitmanOpinion (Jens Weidmann, head of Deutsche Bundesbank): “A broad deepening of fiscal integration leading toward a ‘fiscal union’ in the euro zone requires deeper public support than currently exists both inside and outside Germany, European Central Bank Governing Council member Jens Weidmann said Monday [June 17].

“Speaking at a reception sponsored by the local chamber of commerce, Mr. Weidmann urged a ‘realistic’ approach such as deepening of the fiscal policies in the single currency zone. He said that support among the broader public for such a move in the face of the euro zone crisis at present is seen ‘neither in Germany nor in partner countries.’ Mr. Weidmann is also head of the Deutsche Bundesbank.”

“Elsewhere in Europe, Bundesbank chief and ECB official Jens Weidmann claimed that there was nothing more the central bank could do to help solve the region’s crisis while speaking in Paris. He said the ECB Governing Council has agreed that monetary policy cannot solve the crisis and that the bank has already gone to great lengths to try to mitigate the damage. Now, Weidmann said, it is up to individual governments to make the necessary structural reforms.” Source: International Business Times

My Comment: Gradually life will force us to accept the need for full integration as a mandatory condition to overcome the crisis. Nature will compel humanity to unite. We are weak and dependent on it. So, it is better to become wiser in advance and recognize that salvation and prosperity are in unification.

We must proceed with the full change of the structure of civilization: the satisfaction of all basic needs and not more and all our other opportunities to be directed only to the creation of a single organism of unified civilization.

Brazilians Want Bread Instead Of Games

Dr. Michael LaitmanIn the News (from BBC News): “As many as 200,000 people have marched through the streets of Brazil’s biggest cities, as protests over rising public transport costs and the expense of staging the 2014 World Cup have spread.

“‘For many years, the government has been feeding corruption, people are demonstrating against the system,’ Graciela Cacador told Reuters news agency.

“Others complained about vast sums of money spent on hosting the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics instead of being invested in health and education.

“This is a communal cry saying: ‘We’re not satisfied!,’ Maria Claudia Cardoso told the Associated Press news agency.

“‘We don’t have good schools for our kids. Our hospitals are in awful shape. Corruption is rife. These protests will make history and wake our politicians up to the fact we’re not taking it anymore,’ she said.

“‘We need better education, hospitals and security, not billions spent on the World Cup,’ said one mother who attended the Sao Paulo march with her daughter.”

My Comment: “Without bread there is no Torah.” When the income level of families fall below the minimum cost of living, the “red light” flashes in their head, and they want to survive, not to have fun. But the modern state structure will not be able to create the distribution system that guarantees the minimum cost of living. Without integral education, no one is ready: neither the officials, the givers, nor citizens, the recipients.

Nations Are Becoming Weaker

Dr. Michael LaitmanOpinion (Philip Stephens, an associate editor of the Financial Times): “Globalisation has tightened the ties of economic interdependence. Threats to nations are recognisably international in character – from climate change to pandemics, from terrorism and the proliferation of unconventional weapons to mass migration. Mobile capital, cross-border supply chains and the connections of the digital age leach power from individual states. The way to recapture lost authority is to act in concert.

“The mood has changed. As the rising have become risen powers they are reluctant to embrace a rules-based system – the more so since the rules were largely written by the established powers. For its part, the US is stepping back from the role of global policeman. Even postmodern Europe, where rescuing the euro demands another leap towards integration, is wrestling with tensions between the national and supranational.

“But a US challenged by a rising China and obstructed by a morose Russia has tired of internationalism.

“The unipolar moment has made way for the age of the self-sufficient superpower. More than anyone else, the US has the geography, natural resources and economy to stand back. It now prefers coalitions of the willing to grand multilateral designs.

“In Europe, things are more complex. The 17 nations of the eurozone are committed to the pooling of more sovereignty, yet the euro crisis has awoken nationalist ghosts.

“This interdependence is an inescapable reality for large as well as small states. National moods may have changed but the facts of globalisation have not. If anything, the diffusion of state power to non-state actors has accelerated.

“As an ageing continent with a fast-declining share of global output, Europe has to act as one to uphold its values and interests.

“The paradox we are left with is a world in which state sovereignty is at once greatly prized and, when properly defined as the ability to act, increasingly ineffective. States share an unavoidable interest in replacing the old order with new arrangements to recognise mutual as well as national goals.”

My Comment: Only by correcting human nature and relationships can we combine all the requirements of modern society and Nature. These opposites can be connected only by rising above our nature, no matter how unfeasible it seems, but for the first time humanity is in conscious transition from the Animate (natural, egoistic) degree of existence to the Human degree— conscious altruistic behavior.

The Looming Debt Crisis Will Bury Everyone

Dr. Michael LaitmanIn the News (from the World Organization of Creditors): “The house of cards of the world economies continues to collapse. The problems of Greece and Cyprus are just the beginning of a global trend. Public debt may soon flatten everything in its path like a huge snowball.

“State debts are continuing to grow and, according to the latest estimates, it is becoming more and more difficult for countries not only to decrease the debt, but even to stabilize it. The preliminary results for 2012 show that the total debt of all countries has exceeded $55 trillion. The largest part (75%) is accounted for by only seven developed economies, the G7 countries. During the previous year they not only failed to improve the situation, but increased their debts by 5%. The total indebtedness of developed countries has grown by 12%, or 110% of total GDP. …

“Considering the steadily growing pressure, more and more often we hear forecasts of the upcoming bursting of ’debt bubbles.’ The countries that are pressured by debt can’t find a way to pay their obligations and are being forced to borrow even more money to pay interest on their current loans. For both the majority of developed economies and countries where the debt-to-GDP ratio exceeds 60-70%, it looks like the point of no return has already been passed. Sooner or later they will share the fate of Greece and Cyprus. But in this case, there will be no one to borrow the ‘rescue’ money from.

“Experts are increasingly tending towards the worst case scenario, stating that soon we are likely to observe a crisis of state finances, the extent and consequences of which will far surpass the financial crises of previous years.”

My Comment: We are faced either with the collapse of the global financial system or its gradual transition to a rational form. If we consider how the “leaders” remain deaf to Integral Education, obviously, the collapse is inevitable …

The World Awaits New Ideas

Dr. Michael LaitmanOpinion (Mikhail Khazin): “Almost at the same time, economic growth stopped all over the world. … And the consequences of this condition surfaced.

– The world’s financial elite, which determines all the rules of the global economy, broke up into several groups (after the Strauss-Kahn case in the summer of 2011);

– Since there is not enough money, the policy of withholding money is revived;

– As the liberal idea discredited itself, the alternative options (communism, fascism, militant Islam) are coming back into politics.

“In this situation, only an ideological line can be offered, and we need to prepare for the emergence of new ideas.”

My Comment: Mikhail Khazin recently visited me, and during a few meetings we were discussing the possibility of revealing integral education to the world. I trust his sense as a forecaster and that the time of disclosing of our method of correction will come soon.
