Question: There are two kinds of spiritual work: when I connect the friends in my heart and when I exit myself and as if dissolve in the friends. Is there any sequence and dependency in this work, and which work precedes which?

Answer: It does not matter. Later you will find out what sequence and variability exist between them. But the most important thing is when you will feel closer to a friend. After all, a friend stands on the way to the Creator. If you merge with him and come closer to him, then you come closer to the Creator.

A contact with the Creator is possible only within a friend. When you are fully integrated with him, there you can find your contact with the Creator.

I will also ask that you make great efforts in love of friends, to devise tactics that can increase the love among the friends and revoke the lust for bodily matters from among you, as this is what casts hate, and between those who give contentment to their Maker there shall be no hatred. The most important thing for us is to break away from all these beautiful words. Because there are no words at all, there is only feeling in the adhesion between us by the inner inclination. In it we will define and reveal the Creator. Moreover, we will see that this is the simplest, shortest, closest feeling to us.

This is how we will discover what a spiritual quality is. It is only contact between desires, between people, everyone to everyone. There is nothing personal in this from anyone.

When these aspirations for each other, not for myself, but only for others, connect, they form a zone in which the Creator is revealed, a place where only mutual bestowal exists. We have to create this place between us.

Question: We gathered at the congress, but no one came as a whole ten, except for the Baltic students. What role does my permanent ten that stayed at home and is now in touch with us play in my efforts and the efforts of each of us?

Answer: At such gatherings, it is not necessary to divide into tens. You are all one ten wherever you are in the world right now. Whether you have been sitting at home near Vilnius or in Latvia, it does not matter. The most important thing is global connection. We see friends here from Russia, Georgia, Italy, Kiev, and the Baltic States.

Question: You said that women know how to ask. Every day we compose our prayers in every ten . What should we include in them now? How can we improve our prayers these days to come to a single heart?

Answer: We must feel what distances exist between us and how we would like to get rid of them so that our movement toward bestowal and love is directed from us to others, from each of us toward the others.

That is when we will feel whether we are ready to unite or not. Maybe we are not yet, after all.

Try to feel if there is motion between us only to bestow toward others but not back to yourself.

Question: Why is it always so hard to hold onto a constant prayer during the lesson? Why are we thrown out all the time? Why do we need these entries and exits in prayer?

Answer: This happens because you do not prepare yourself enough for it. If you were preparing for it more, asking the Creator not to be disconnected, to think correctly all the time, then it would be different.

Instead, you turn up at the lesson and only now you start thinking about what you should do. But you need to think about it during all the hours before the lesson or before such a gathering as we have now.

Question: Should we feel all the Hisaronim (desires) of our friends and raise them to the Creator or is there one that everyone has?

Answer: We must understand that all our aspirations, although expressed in different words and seemingly not similar to each other, are still internally translated into the same language and have the same meaning.

So, it does not matter. No matter what we say, we still have one goal, one system of moving toward the goal, one reason to come to it. In general, we understand each other, we experience the same thing.

And the fact that sometimes we cannot express what we want or that we have different languages does not matter. In spirituality, it all matches and again comes to one single desire, intention, and goal. And if we merge into it, we have to make a little effort and achieve it.

Question: What is the bar we can reach in our connection, in this incorporation with friends, for these few days that are now before us?

Answer: I think we just need to really feel that we can be in one heart. That seems to me the most important thing—in one heart!

It is even purely speculative to imagine that we are in the same heart, in the same desire, and there are no other desires, but it is always only one, and we all dissolve in it. This desire will be the one in which we will feel the Creator.

Answer: He should think about how he can lose himself and be with us. Just give yourself up and dissolve into us.

At the end of the day, this is a group of people who have gathered in a certain place, under a certain leader, to be together. With superhuman courage they face up to all those who rise against them. Indeed, they are brave men with a strong spirit, and they are determined not to retreat one inch. They are first-class fighters, fighting the war against the inclination to their last drop of blood, and their only wish is to win the battle for the glory of His name. (Rabash, Letter 8)

See how Rabash writes? A small handful of people! The most important thing is that they should be in the same intention and be directed toward the same goal. If they act like this, then their efforts are enough to pierce the wall between them and the Creator, and as if touch the Creator and resume contact between Him and through themselves with all mankind.

These are people who unite and want to reach the Creator, to “prick” Him, get in touch with Him. Nothing else is needed, 10 people are enough to make contact with the Creator, and through these people a continuous connection between the Creator and humanity will begin. That’s what we have to achieve.

We can do it. We are created to do this. Let’s try even harder, even deeper, even more purposefully to move toward the Creator and achieve this. This is called “My sons have defeated Me.”

So let’s not retreat a single step and continue our efforts, to prick the Creator so that He will be obliged to respond to us, draw us to Him, and through us, get in touch with the whole world, with all mankind.
