Question: Can we say that the force of holiness always affects me in the ten?
Answer: It depends on how you perceive it, how you approach the Creator.
If you believe that in this part of the Kli there is attraction acting upon you, then yes.

Question: When a person is included in the intention to bring contentment to the Creator, how does he avoid turning it into reason? After all, he understands and feels that he is bestowing to the Creator, that he is connected to Him.
Answer: But he is connected to the Creator only through the intention. He does nothing else. He attributes only his intention to the Creator.
Question: And how can he avoid enjoying this, turning it into reason? What is the next stage, the continuation of this intention?
Answer: It does not matter what the Creator asks a person to do. That is irrelevant. We can stop right there.
The most important thing is that we have changed our intention, and whatever is revealed in such a state, we desire to pass everything to the Creator. At that point, we can say this particular state ends at the moment.
Question: You have said that when in the right intention, we should add actions. How is that done?
Answer: Intention alone means nothing; there must also be action. But action in spirituality is not something tangible that can be passed from hand to hand, because it is not corporeal.
Rather, I simply transfer the beginning of my thought and its end from me to the Creator.

Question: What is the connection between the spiritual root of love and its earthly branch?
Answer: The earthly branch represents my one-sided, egoistic attitude toward myself, when I, like a dog, sense with my nose where I can still enjoy myself, and only this pulls me forward.
Comment: A person is given the concept of “first love” when they think only about the object of their affection.
My Response: That is, I am attracted by such great pleasure that I cannot think of anything else: not about food, not about walks, not about studies, not about sports. This is the egoistic development of hormones.
I am becoming a man, I feel hormonal surges, I do not understand what it is or how to realize them. I am tormented by vague guesses, and I am drawn to the object of their realization. That is all. What kind of love is this?
I told you how my mother, a doctor by training, explained to me how she used hormonal injections to make people love. The same thing is here. I won’t mock this feeling. On the contrary, it develops us greatly at a young age, when the transition from adolescence to youth occurs. This is a very useful quality, but it is purely egoistic.
Question: Isn’t there a purpose to this? Nature?
Answer: Of course, nature has a plan to further develop our egoism.
Question: Is this a good condition?
Answer: Any development is good, but when egoism develops completely, it must be corrected somehow. The complete physiological development of a person typically ends by the age of 18 to 22. However, sometimes it can continue further because under the influence of the environment, all sorts of other drives arise.
Basically, the set of human desires includes food, sex, family, wealth, fame, and knowledge; there are just six basic properties in which our ego develops. There is nothing else here.
I constantly consider what is more profitable for me and what I love more. If knowledge prevails, then I can abandon everything else. I immerse myself in science and it completely absorbs me. This is also love.
That is, love is a desire for fulfillment that is inherent in every person.

Question: People used to meet and start families. There was happiness in having a child. Let me ask you a strange question. What was the parental happiness in having a child?
Answer: To see their future in the child.
Question: Is that how it should be?
Answer: Yes, of course. Children should be born and they should continue their family line.
Question: Today it seems to have disappeared. Suddenly, for many couples, a child has become a burden. Why?
Answer: Our egoism has divided us, disconnected us, placed everyone in their own corner, and that is it.
Question: But why does egoism need that?
Answer: That is how it works. Our egoism benefits when we are focused only on ourselves and care only about it.
Comment: And concerning our egoism, which is the closest and dearest to us, we say that it is a burden to us.
My Response: It is not the closest and dearest. We say that it is a burden to us because it prevents us from taking care of our true “child,” the one inside ourselves!
Question: So this “I,” my ego, is the closest and dearest?
Answer: Yes.
Comment: Look where we have gotten! I wonder what will come next.
My Response: It will get worse. We will reach a state in which everyone hides in their own corner and does not want to talk to anyone. That is it! I will only order, say, pizza and cola, or something else.
Question: And what will happen then? We are constantly leading humanity to some kind of dead end.
Answer: It is a dead end. Humanity must see its own dead end. But when it becomes clear that it really is a dead end, then an epiphany will come from this dead end—that we cannot continue like this.
Question: Do you think that there can be no awakening before that?
Answer: No, I think we must reach that recognition. In other words, there should be no wars or riots or violent outbursts, but there should be a clear awareness of hopelessness and deadlock. Then we will begin to think: “What should we do?” And then we will remember: “Wait, I once heard something from Kabbalists.”
Question: Yes, there is a book on my shelf, a clip saved, and so on. So they will look and begin moving toward correction?
Answer: I am sure of it.
Question: Do we need to keep dripping it in, putting it on shelves and into computers?
Answer: Absolutely! We have no other choice.
Question: Even if we keep coming to the same results?
Answer: It does not matter. If you have a small child who is growing and developing, you still have to tell him what to do and how to behave properly. You cannot just let it go.

Question: On the first day of the convention, we felt an ocean of light. But on the second day, it was as if we dove somewhere and lost all sense of up or down; we lost our footing.
What do we need to add to make it flow and unite us?
Answer: We lack darkness. Not the emptiness that the whole world feels as the absence of small fulfillments, but real darkness. Darkness is suffering from longing to reveal the Creator, the suffering of being disconnected from the meaning of life, from its source, from what it should be.
On one hand, all of creation shows us how interconnected, perfect, and above us it is. On the other hand, when we start trying to orient ourselves, we feel that we see nothing in it: no beginning, no end, complete disorientation.
This is actually the best feeling; it arises in us every moment that we move toward mastering the spiritual space, toward revealing the Creator. Ar every moment we feel either that we are approaching Him or moving away, falling, and darkness.
If yesterday you felt an “ocean of light,” today you will feel the opposite, and not just equally, but even worse. This will repeat every time. The descents will be lower, and the attainments will accordingly be higher.
We have to get used to moving in darkness and in disorientation because it is precisely this that helps us rid ourselves completely of egoistic directions, leads, and definitions.
When we become disoriented in our usual parameters, directions, and feelings, when we understand and know nothing, when we experience a sense of being lost and perhaps even darkness, we must recognize that this is the start of a new degree. We are given the opportunity to rise precisely in this darkness to see the light, the Creator, through it. This is a huge help in our advancement.
Therefore we must immerse ourselves specifically in this state of darkness and from it reveal the light.
That is our work. Otherwise we will never reveal the Creator; it is only from the state opposite to Him.

“To Proclaim Your Truth In The Night”
If a person’s actions are directed toward connection with friends, he very quickly discovers the necessity for a direct connection with the Creator who must help with that connection. Every action should lead to the correction of the shattering, unity between us, and then the need for the Creator’s action; the quality of bestowal and love, is manifested in it.
Then the three components of our state are revealed: Torah, Israel, and the Creator.
The Torah is the force that creates desire (the world was created by the Torah), the force that corrects the intention of desire (the light that reforms), and the force that fills the desire (pleasure and wisdom, the purpose of creation).
“Love your neighbor as yourself” is the general rule of the Torah. “Israel” (aspiring to the Creator, the soul) is the common Kli (the connection of souls, Shechina). The Torah is the light, the correcting force. The Creator is the inner source of that force.
Together, we create the condition for unity and mutual guarantee, we prepare a place for the revelation of the Creator. Right up to, “The children of Israel cried out from the work,” when we truly need His help.
In nearly all descriptions of the Torah, we see a comparison of society and the Creator. Without society, we cannot come to the Creator. Therefore, the group is the means. It is the Shechina, the Knesset of Israel, the gathering of souls who ask not to remain in the dust (egoism). All the writings speak about this.
A person forgets the need for connection with the Creator because it is against his nature, but this connection will appear within our nature if we unite in a group. If I am not connected with the group, I am not directed and will not find the direction toward the Creator.
