Question: Is it correct that an obstacle that arises is overcome through the formation of a new form as a result of greater unity in the ten?
Answer: Yes, continue and you will see how to express this more clearly.
Question: The ego resists accepting a new form. How can we break it more effectively?
Answer: Do not pay attention to the ego. Try to be together, to feel one another, and from that shared feeling, turn to the Creator.

Question: If everything comes from the Creator, how can a person make decisions on their own? What does that mean?
Answer: A constant feeling of imperfection comes from the Creator. That is, not forces of perfection that would supposedly help a person, but on the contrary, greater and greater forces showing him how imperfect he is. And this compels him to demand perfection.

Get Closer to the Upper Purpose
Comment: There is an amazing way to get acquainted. Just imagine: a guy enters a room, and he is presented with a bunch of different test tubes. He has to determine which smell he likes best, which one he feels is closest to him. He picks one, and then they tell him: “This scent matches this specific girl.” It is the same for girls. She picks a scent, and they say: “Here is your guy.”
My Response: This is very important to us. The cells that respond to smell cover a huge area in our brain.
Question: So could this English method be considered advanced enough?
Answer: It is not advanced; it is old and natural.
Question: So can I actually choose a partner largely by smell?
Answer: Absolutely! There is no doubt that this is how we are drawn to or repelled from each other even unconsciously. And what about all that perfume and such? It is natural. But why am I saying this? That should not be the main criterion.
We should match not on the level of scent, although that is also very important, and not on the level of various other preferences, but on the level of understanding our proper direction toward the purpose of creation.
If we were all striving toward the true purpose of creation, it would have been much easier for us to find a partner, because in essence, we would not differ much from one another. We would not differ.
Question: So one goal, and we are already similar?
Answer: Yes, this goal would unite all of us.
Comment: But that is a very lofty idea. It is very high for young people to talk about the purpose of creation!
My Response: And in the end, what happens? It turns out very low.
Comment: Young guys talking about the purpose of creation?
My Response: They will not invent anything better. What they get is some kind of “love for an hour,” and that is the end of it.
Question: So what should they understand? The purpose of creation? What do you include in that?
Answer: Why am I getting married? Why should I tie my life to this person? In the end, married couples will not hold on to each other. People will just meet, have kids, and split up.
Question: That was exactly my question how can one find a partner for life? And are you saying that it can be done only by this criterion?
Answer: Only the final goal, that is what must hold us together.
Question: And why am I looking for a partner? Why do I get married?
Answer: To reach this ultimate goal together with my partner, in the correct connection with them. But for that, I also need friends and not just partners.
Question: But can you say what the specific goal is? What is the purpose of creation?
Answer: The purpose of creation is to reveal the upper force that governs us. To understand and attain why we exist, what is happening with us, who is leading us by the nose, and where we are being taken.
That is what we need to reveal—to open our eyes, in short, to where we really are.
Question: So that this thirst would be present in both of them, in a guy, in a girl, in people in general?
Answer: Yes, to reveal this need, and together with your partner, gradually move toward it.

Question: I want to ask you about tears, not children’s, but adults’. Undoubtedly, when an adult cries, you immediately sense some depth of pain, tragedy, offense, or happiness. Adult tears immediately draw attention. You cannot remain indifferent to them. Today, I was walking down the street, and a woman passed by quietly crying. I shuddered. I wanted to ask what happened, but did not dare. And if you suddenly see a man crying, that is something entirely different. So what is it about tears?
Answer: There is a lot in tears, in general, in that internal small stress that those tears carry.
Question: So what is it that I am pouring out?
Answer: It is cleansing, a person cries it out.
Question: So one must cry it out to the end?
Answer: It is not easy. Especially for us men. It only happens sometimes when special emotional events occur, when you feel that you are finding something, but these are not women’s tears.
Question: Are men’s tears not women’s?
Answer: Absolutely not. That is where a clear boundary between men and women is revealed. So much so that a woman cannot cry for male reasons, and a man for feminine reasons. There is nothing to be done. That is why we are two, and not one unified being.
Question: But the reason for this is not just different tears. Or are the tears themselves different?
Answer: The tears are different, of course; they are different systems. Oh, how different they are! In men, it goes through the brain, and in women, it goes through the heart and womb.
Question: Seriously?
Answer: Yes. In men, it is a little through the heart but mostly through the brain. And in women, it is through the heart and primarily through the womb. It is very hard to express. But it is felt.
Question: So it goes through future birth?
Answer: Through those systems that are called male and female.
A man cries when he realizes something profound, and when that realization merges with his feelings for it. And a woman cries when it all passes through her system. After all, they are completely different people. They are from different worlds!
Question: Completely different worlds?
Answer: Of course.
Question: Then what does the union of these worlds mean? A union of these tears: male and female.
Answer: They do not unite. They unite only in the Creator when they rise above themselves in order to reveal their shared, common root. Only there can they unite, reveal the Creator, and truly reveal each one in the other.
And that is why there is this special attraction between us, this polarity of the sexes, and so on. It is a very complex system of relationships.
Question: So the real union arises there, in the Creator?
Answer: In heaven.
Question: It is all created in heaven. The true union is in heaven?
Answer: Of course.
Comment: You are not a sentimental person, but why is it that when we speak about your teacher, Rabash, I often see your eyes suddenly get wet, you become different? Different!
Answer: Nothing can be done, because the root of my soul is in him. That is why I am different.

Question: To be able to bestow, one needs someone to bestow to and something to bestow. How does a Kabbalist solve this problem? To whom and what does he bestow?
Answer: When a Kabbalist has the chance to bestow, he sees that this opportunity exists only in relation to the Creator. But where is the Creator? It turns out that everything around him is the Creator. Therefore, there is no problem to bestow.
The Creator specifically shows a person where and how to bestow, influence, and carry out His desire further. A person becomes the “hand of the Creator.”
Bestowing to the Creator is bestowing to people. First of all, spreading the method of getting closer to the Creator is the best thing that can be done for both people and the Creator. In this way, one gives people the opportunity to receive the upper light, abundance, to fill themselves and the Creator.
Question: But only a few have such an opportunity. If a person does not teach and does not have friends nearby with whom he can implement the methodology, what should he bestow?
Answer: Then he has no opportunity to progress anywhere. He must have like-minded people nearby; the best is a ten.
Question: Let’s say there are several people around me, and I tell them about the Creator. Is this what I bestow on them?
Answer: No, there should be people next to you with whom you are working on implementing the method. You will help each other build a common network, which the Creator will fill. And you, by receiving from Him, will fill Him.
Question: So uniting with friends in the group is what bestowal is?
Answer: Of course, together you create a spiritual vessel that the Creator fills, and you receive that filling with the intention of bestowing it back to the Creator.

What To Give?
What Can We Give?
Giving Means Filling The Desires Of Others
Making any movement only as a result of love for others, without any spark of reflected light or hope for any kind of reward in return is completely impossible by nature (Baal HaSulam, “Matan Torah [The Giving of the Torah]“).
And this still needs to be revealed. The words are correct and wonderful, but a person must perform many actions directed toward bestowal, spend many hours studying, and make many efforts to unite with others to come to the realization that he does not have the slightest chance to perform an act of bestowal.
Of course one can immediately admit that he is an egoist who does not care about anyone, who does not value anyone, and to whom everything is indifferent. But this does not testify to the revelation of the vessel, the Kli; anyone can say this about themselves. We agree with this without unnecessary words.
The problem is to realize the evil within oneself, to understand that even if one desires, he is incapable of performing any act of bestowal. This means to know one’s nature, to know one’s limits. With all one’s might using all possibilities and means, one pressures himself to reveal bestowal to his fellow, and discovers purest egoistic reception. He does not find even one percent of bestowal.
And the more I try to do good for someone, the more my original intention is revealed to me after all these enormous efforts. Previously, I did not know about it and could not detect it, but now it turns out that all my actions pursued personal gain.
This is a very deep study. I receive these lessons only after I make efforts. With a pure soul, I set to work, wishing to benefit others as much as possible, and unite with them, completely forgetting about myself. In my eyes, my friends are so great that I simply get lost, disappear among them. And in the end, after each action, the opposite picture is revealed to me: I did everything for my own benefit.
This truth manifests as a reward, as a prize for my efforts to perform pure, maximum bestowal from the heart.
And then, thanks to my efforts, I come to the final result, to what is said: “I created the evil inclination.”
The entrance opens before me, the understanding of these words. I begin to realize what the Creator has created. Until then, they were just words.
Then, as usual, I go through four stages of development and come to the necessity of the Torah as a spice, that is, a method of correction. I begin to understand what the Torah is, what the spice is, what it adds to the evil inclination, in what form it should be used, and how it works. Even if I am only at the beginning of the path and still have no experience, the means called “Torah-spice” is already slightly revealed to me.
And also, the light that returns to the source (the reforming light), which is embedded in it is revealed to me. We are talking about different concepts; the Torah and the light are not the same.
That is why receiving the Torah is a very complex matter. Moreover, the question arises: who gives it to me? After all, this giving is necessary, and it is precisely thanks to it that we come to receive the Torah.

Question: What does it mean to open the heart?
Answer: Opening the heart means cleansing it from egoism and directing all our actions solely toward bestowal to the Creator.
Question: Usually I do not want to receive from a friend because I do not want to feel lower. The correct state is when I receive in order for her to feel good. In that case, I feel higher. This is also not the corrected state. What is the correct calculation?
Answer: The correct calculation is when you want only the benefit of the other. Start acting as we say and you will feel it.
Question: For the Kli, the beginning of restriction is always in the mind, and the beginning of fulfillment is in the feeling?
Answer: Yes, you could say so.
