Zohar for All, Lech Lecha, Item 104: When the Ruach comes out of this world and enters the cave of Adam haRishon and the patriarchs, they give him there a letter as a sign, and he goes to the Garden of Eden. When he approaches, he meets the Cherubim there and that flaming sword which turns every way. If he is rewarded, they see the letter that is the sign, open the gate for him, and he enters. If not, they repel him outside.

From the spiritual point of view, a cave is a place where a person spends nine months of intrauterine development and then he lives there. In other words, a cave is an inanimate level of the habitat surrounding you. Initially, people lived in caves because the microclimate of a cave is the best for man. People knew how to choose a favorable place to live.

A cave has special properties; we are surrounded by the power of the Earth from all sides. We do not feel it because today we live in high-rise buildings, on floors above the ground. And according to Kabbalah, a person should not get too far away from it.

Of course, in our time, all this does not really matter anymore. We must use other forces.

When a person reaches the state of entering the cave of the forefathers where Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are located, the three lines, he meets these basic root properties of his soul. Adam HaRishon, from whom these three spiritual properties come, is also there.

This cave is also called Machpelah, which means double cave, that is, the union of Bina and Malchut.

It is not just one cave. We can say that there is another one in it: Malchut and Bina in Malchut, or Bina and Malchut in Bina. That is, from the two properties of Bina and Malchut, four properties are obtained: Malchut, Bina, Bina in Malchut, and Malchut in Bina.

These are the four properties called by the name of the Creator: Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey or HaVaYaH. When a person discovers them in himself and shapes them correctly, he starts to perceive who created him and who directs him.

The four letters give him the first spiritual quality on which he ascends and becomes more and more similar to the Creator. Thus, he reaches the gates of the Garden of Eden. If he prepares correctly, then the angels, that is, forces, that should now reveal in him the state called the Garden of Eden act on him.

And if he is not prepared, then even despite the fact that he has received all the makings below: both the meeting of the Forefathers and the so-called letter (Igeret, Mikhtav), he does not reach the level of the Garden of Eden, he cannot reveal this property in himself, and he must go down and start his ascent again.

Question: The screen is a force that allows me to make calculations not for my own sake. Does a person make such calculations for any desires that arise in him or for special ones?

Answer: Basically on any but only to the extent that I have the strength to cope with them.

Question: There are basic desires related to the human body. Do we need to make these calculations on them too?

Answer: A person should make a restriction (Tzimtzum) on all the desires that he feels as a source of pleasure. At that, he stops receiving this pleasure and rises above it.

Basic desires are ordinary desires for food, sex, family, and security. They are not difficult to work with. It is much harder to work with spiritual desires.

Question: What does a person have to change to be happy?

Answer: To see the world one is in.

Question: Does one need to change some external conditions for that?

Answer: No, absolutely not! Open a book or connect to our website on the Internet. He will get everything from there.

Comment: But it sounds somewhat unrealistic that my happiness depends on reading a book or listening to some channel.

My Response: This is how Kabbalah works. This is a special science that is revealed in this way.

On the other hand, I would say that there is nothing special here. Isn’t the same thing happening to me when I study other sciences—let’s say psychology?

Comment: But I don’t change. By studying any some science, I just accumulate knowledge.

My Response: It depends on what kind of science. If you study the science about yourself, then you change. I said psychology, not veterinary science or geology.

It is not easy. I am changing because the science is about me and about how I can discover the higher world. It is said that Kabbalah is the science of the revelation of the Creator to a person in this world, in this life. By the Creator, we mean the whole of nature, true, global nature, of which we currently feel only one percent, and therefore we do not know how to behave in this world, and not only in it. What happens to us after we die?

Comment: Nobody knows this.

My Response: So I can find it out. Why should I live in this world without knowing what will happen to me next? Then this life has no meaning either. And thus the whole picture is opened for us and it unfolds in front of us—everything right here where we exist.

And now, divide this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh.

Only to the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance; the sacrifices of the Lord God of Israel made by fire are his inheritance, as He said to him. (Prophets, Joshua, 13:7, 13:14)

The tribe of Levi symbolizes the quality of Bina. Therefore, they must be priests, Levites, and rely on nothing, not on any land.
Levites are absolutely pure bestowal without land, without any allotment. They do not have anything of their own.

On the one hand, it seems to be easier this way because you do not have any desires to work on. On the other hand, you exist only in this, and all the tribes, all the people, are under you. You have to serve them, carry out the quality of bestowal on them.

The Levites have no concept of living for themselves. And to this Cohens add work for bestowal.

 Comment: Chinese scientists in Shanghai conducted experiments on rats in which they transplanted uteruses into males and fertilized them, making them give birth. As a result, ten pups were born. They were born by caesarean section, of course.

They lived to adulthood, were able to reproduce, and didn’t face any serious diseases. Thus, an animal model of male pregnancy in mammals was created. There is such a phenomenon in the world, but it is very rare: seahorses bear offspring, and so on. But this is a rare case. Now they have proven that, roughly speaking, males can also give birth (Global Times, “Chinese scientists help male rat give birth to 10 healthy cubs for first time”).

Question: I am now interested to know what they are alluding to in general? What are all these experiments being conducted for?

Answer: I don’t see any point to it. In any case, it will not result in anything good. It will end up with a bad outcome. Because the male body differs from the female body in every cell. Do you understand? Every cell!

Therefore, to take an organ from a woman and transplant it into a man, it’s against nature. So it will never have a good outcome in the end. Somewhere along the way, maybe not right away, not in the first, but in the second or third generation, something bad will come from it. In any case, nature will not tolerate any perversion done to it.

You’re dealing with psychology, the whole body, the nerve endings, head, thorax, everything. And how are they nursed?

Are the nipples also transplanted? What about milk? The whole body is entirely involved!

We are not even talking about psychology. How the Torah treats a man and a woman differently.

Comment: Two opposites who are forced to live together.

My Response: They have to live together with each other, precisely because they are so different. And only in this way can they connect, unite, and give birth to the following generations.

Question: Because they are so different and opposite is that why? And were they not opposite, they would not connect?

Answer: No.

Question: What is the purpose of connecting all these opposites, opposing poles, completely different creatures? Why do they need to be pressured to be together if they are so different?

Answer: For them to create a system between them that resembles the Creator.

Question: And in this case it is called a real family?

Answer: Yes, “A man and a woman—and the Creator between them.”

Comment: So, maternity leave for a man. Not promising, no matter how much he wants it.

My Response: Would anyone really agree to undergo such an experiment? This is terrible!

Question: Such an experiment. So, is all this happening for the sake of science, for the sake of checking some box?

Answer: Of course. We can’t even imagine what a psychological and mental restructuring this entails. Everything, everything, everything changes.

Because the way a woman thinks and the way a man thinks is not comparable in any way or compatible. Only in the voluntary connection above them, in the desire to unite in spite of their differences, do they begin to build something in common. Love, family, and so on, otherwise, the way life produced beings, male and female, led them to create their offspring in this particular way, precisely from the fact that they appear as extremely opposite of each other.

Then they nevertheless join together, raise offspring, and so on. And look how this offspring depends on the connection between these two types. And the more these species are developed, the greater the distance between them: psychological, physiological, and so forth.

Question: So, the more developed a man and a woman become, the more complex the connection?

Answer: Of course. Not like with rats. It’s all very, very complex, and we don’t understand anything about it yet.

Comment: So we can’t defeat nature. We really want to defeat it, but we cannot.
