Just a few days ago we concluded our annual Kabbalah Convention in New Jersey. It was a very powerful and unifying event, where we all began to feel as one. But do not forget: with efforts to remain connected, every day can feel like a convention!
Question: What determines the life expectancy of different people?
Answer: Does it really matter? Is it really a gift to live long?
It’s worth living, while you can solve the serious problems for which life is given. And as soon as this possibility runs out and you exist only to serve your animal body, then it is no longer worth living. But we do not dispose of it; therefore, it is forbidden to reduce life expectancy in any possible way.

Question: Is the birth of the soul accompanied by physical discomfort?
Answer: Physically, a person goes through many states. But, the further you advance, there is less discomfort because you begin to understand it, get used to it, and even guess, based on your experience, what actions will be done to you.
Therefore, you calmly go ahead, knowing that there will be a descent again. The light “goes off,” you fall through all the steps of the ascent, like in an elevator flying down, and then gradually come to your senses.
First, you do not understand where you are and what you are, as all connections break off, and the feeling of the upper world disappears. You remain only in the perception of this world, not really understanding what is happening here, what kind of people are surrounding you, and what they are doing here.
Then, you begin climbing up again through an even bigger connection with the group, but the extreme states are amazing.
In fact, there is nothing scary about it. On the contrary, you feel the tremendous power of life, the world, nature, the Creator, and you, yourself, are in it as an accomplice.
You simultaneously look with regret at how people are living in this world because they have a great opportunity to fill themselves with the whole creation from beginning to end, and they are busy with something petty, insignificant, and languish in this way. We must do everything to help them. By helping them, you help yourself, and vice versa.

First we talk about free choice, a person’s influence on the environment and environment’s influence on the person, and the ego that constantly drives humanity, including the couple. Then, the couple should explore how they can become as one through mutual acceptance. Together, we can achieve wholeness, pleasure, and a new dimension of existence where we will never lack anything.

To build a connection between couples requires the ability to feel the other side. How is it possible to develop this ability, and how can one relate to a partner who uncooperative? By learning to develop the ability to feel the partner and their desires. I want to rise above my desires and begin to absorb what the partner wants. I build my partner’s image in me. My partner mirrors my flaws back to me so that I can transcend my egoistic nature. The goal is to connect above our differences.

Our only wish is to feel the Creator’s greatness. We look for ways to elevate His greatness. Means of raising the Creator’s greatness, an urge for this:
The good path, Achishena—through the group;
The evil path, Beito—through fears, separation from the Creator.
The Creator’s greatness is revealed relative to creation’s lowliness.
It’s 2 types of work. But Kabbalists advise not to focus on evil; to aim our work at attaining the Creator’s greatness, though along the way we’ll have to plunge into the dark to reveal the light’s advantage from it
#Spirituality: attaining equivalence with the Creator,
Replace egoistic intentions “for myself” with intentions “for others, the Creator.”
Correction is equivalence of form with the Creator. From receiving actions to receiving actions with bestowal intentions, the intention changes.

Question: Have any of the great Kabbalists ever seen the Creator with their own inner vision? What does He look like? Maybe this is silly, but I desperately want to somehow imagine Him. If a drop of water is the reduced analog of an ocean, then there must be a visible analog of the personality of the Creator.
Answer: First, the Creator has no personality. Secondly, when we, without understanding, imagine something, we cannot “point” something to the Creator. The Creator is nothing other than the quality of connection, bestowal, and love. It is something non-objective, without any volume or image. It is a quality we can identify in a person who possesses it.
In other words, if there is the quality of bestowal in whatever measure, strength, or power in you, then it can be said that the Creator is embodied in you and in this part He exists within you.
Question: Can a person see that the Creator is embodied in him?
Answer: No, seeing it is impossible. Only when an individual attains the quality of bestowal and love, can he, from within himself, sense with his inner vision how much the Creator exists in him, and even measure it.
The fact is that the wisdom of Kabbalah enables the measurement of qualities, sensations, strengths of desires, screens, the distance from and closeness to the force of love or the force of rejection, and so forth. Ultimately, they all give us the picture of similarity of form or movement toward unity with the Creator. A person can sense how close or how far from understanding the “Creator.”
Question: Can it be said that there is the Creator and there are His qualities?
Answer: No. When we say “Creator” we mean qualities. On the material level we also see only qualities, it only seems to us that these are objects. In fact, these are all forces.
Everything is composed of two forces: the force of reception and the force of bestowal. Their interactions create all manner of forms for us.
