Do Not Lose Connection With The Creator

laitman_546_01Torah, “Deuteronomy,” 7:02 – 7:04: Neither shall you make a covenant with them (with other nations), nor be gracious to them. You shall not intermarry with them; you shall not give your daughter to his son, and you shall not take his daughter for your son. For he will turn away your son from following Me, and they will worship the gods of others, and the wrath of the Lord will be kindled against you, and He will quickly destroy you.

A person can’t make any concessions with egoism, no connection, no partial solutions. He should completely kill egoism, rise above it, stop using it in its natural form, and use it only after the first restriction with the screen, with the Returning Light, for bestowal and love.

Question: What does it mean “you shall not take his daughter for your son”?

Answer: Do not leave anything of egoistic origin that eventually will manifest in you as your corrupted quality. Then you will lose connection with the Creator and won’t be able to continue fighting for the purity of your correction and rise spiritually.

To marry a son to a daughter of an alien people means to allow some contact with egoism in the future. There can’t be the Creator in this action. Therefore it is said that it “will turn away your son from following Me, and they will worship the gods of others.”

What The Laws Of The Torah Say

Laitman_137Question: Why is simply learning about the practical laws from the book, Shulchan Aruch not enough for fulfilling the Torah and Mitzvot (commandments)?

Answer: Because not only to perform them, but even to receive the Torah, we must be “as one person with one heart.” How can we say today that we are fulfilling the laws of the Torah?! We first must yearn to attain the conditions for their implementation or at least yearn for unification. And then we will find out that all the laws of the Torah speak about how to attain unity.

Receiving the Torah is only the beginning of its fulfillment. After having received it, egoism begins to be revealed more and more and we must increase the unity between us. That is how our common heart grows until it will include everyone within it.

Introduction To Kabbalah

Laitman_065Question: Does studying the wisdom of Kabbalah change a person into a lazy super-egoistic person, yearning only for involvement with spirituality and no desire to work in the physical world?

Answer: When a person reaches the wisdom of Kabbalah, it grabs him and pulls his heart so much that he cannot be involved with anything else.

I discovered the wisdom of Kabbalah when I was the manager of a dental clinic that employed 11 doctors and other technical staff. It became very difficult for me to manage the business because I was suddenly immersed into an area that opened a new world in front of me. Even though nothing was clear to me about the wisdom of Kabbalah, this “void” and “emptiness” sparkled and attracted me.

A person begins to discover how this world was created, from where the laws appear in it, what their results are and what is happening with him. Everything that the wisdom of Kabbalah reveals to the person is truly amazing. Moreover, it is revealed in a very concrete and clear form.

A person acquires an absolutely precise view of the world that not even any science provides. Everything else falls from his mind and becomes completely unimportant to him, including this world. In general, the first few months of familiarity with the wisdom of Kabbalah go by like a “rosy mist.” After that the mist gradually dissipates and a gradual sobriety begins. The person somehow begins to find his way around.

It means that the first familiarity with the wisdom of Kabbalah amazes and confuses a person because the next more external sphere relative to our world appears before him. After that he gets used to it, even though it actually could take a long time. Meeting the upper world shocks a person no less than the initial introduction to the wisdom of Kabbalah.

The Future Work Of Humanity

laitman_938_01Comment: People don’t have enough time. They have no time for themselves. We cannot imagine a life without work. Even when we are getting to know someone, the first thing we ask is, “What do you do, what is your profession?”

Answer: We are the ones who have made our lives like this. Today with the help of machines and automation we produce 100 times more products than 100 years ago. And what is it for? All is specifically arranges so that a person will be busy working 8-10 hours a day and the rest of the time on the road with very little time at home.

But this trend is gradually disappearing. If we talk from the point of view of the wisdom of Kabbalah, soon a person will be completely freed from professional work. Instead he will be busy with self-education.

Popular universities will begin to function everywhere in which the entire population of the planet, from the young to the elderly, will go through learning in the form of conversations, lectures, unity exercises, upbringing, and education. From morning to evening a person will be engaged with personal development, a little physical labor, but mostly spiritual work.

This will become the main work of humanity since by being involved with it we are drawing to ourselves the positive energy of nature in its maximal size and good quality.

Question: When you say “spiritual” do you mean relationships between people?

Answer: Yes. But these mutual relationships are built through mutual association, integration, the approach of all people toward each other, when we see ourselves as broken into fragments like screws or parts and components of one gigantic and harmonious mechanism called “Adam.”

To the degree that we accommodate every part to every other part, we succeed in properly assembling this common mechanism; we feel how in our more or less correct association a unique power begins to be awakened, the power of connection, the power of mutual cooperation, which is called the Creator.

Then all of the feelings and emotions that appear between people on the street, in traffic, and at work will receive absolutely different significance and power. A completely different incentive for living in connection between us will appear.

This must begin now because the whole world is going toward this, to show humanity how much our egoistic development based upon mutual distance and competitiveness is destroying us and plunging into nothingness.

Literature And The Wisdom Of Kabbalah

laitman_525Question: I think that without the literature I read before beginning to study the wisdom of Kabbalah, I would not understand and not internally grasp the wisdom of Kabbalah that is close to me. Even Baal HaSulam read novels and historical works. What is superfluous and what might aid development?

Answer: I don’t say that it you shouldn’t be involved with anything or not read anything. I simply warn you in advance that studying the wisdom of Kabbalah will narrow your interests to a certain well-directed path. So he will go on a path from which it is already difficult to deviate because all of his thoughts and yearning will be directed only toward revealing the Creator.

But through attaining the Creator he will understand everything else. Harmony will unfold in front of him as in music, literature, and art. He will begin to see an inner meaning in everything, the inner drive of great people, writers, artists, and composers who created those works. Everything will move into his inner sensations and it is doubtful that he will have a need for anything on the outside.

So the wisdom of Kabbalah doesn’t limit a person, rather it makes possible the correct approach to life.

Laitman_633_3Spiritual DNA

Question: Does spiritual DNA also affect our life the same way the material does?

Answer: If the spiritual DNA is revealed in a person during one of the life cycles, it definitely affects his destiny. A person begins to realize this spiritual gene. After all, this desire that has been revealed in him now, the desire for spiritual attainment, the new goal that is above this material life, definitely changes everything.

Question: It is known from genetics that innate qualities recorded in DNA define what will develop in a child. Are there any other genes in a human?

Answer: Yes, there is also a spiritual DNA. The spiritual gene, Reshimo, is an informational charge that is included in every person, or rather in his or her desire, and defines in what form this desire will develop.

Question: Is this information recorded in a person at his birth?

Answer: Even before that. After all, if a drop of semen begins to develop, it means there was spiritual information that caused this development. Exactly this information leads a man and woman to copulation, instills in them a desire to have a child or arranges an unplanned pregnancy for them.

There is a spiritual system that determines how each desire included in it must develop. Desires are connected in one network that is required to achieve a given state called final correction. This network consists of many desires that belong to all the people in the world.

This network is advancing in its development all the time. Based on this, it decides what will happen with each separate desire at the moment, whether to leave it without implementation in this world or to implement it as a person, man, or woman, and in what form.

It turns out that the spiritual system determines the form of our material life on this earth based on the need to reach the end of its correction in perfect form.

New Life 743 – Declining Birth Rates And Human Evolution

New Life 743 – Declining Birth Rates And Human Evolution
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Yael Leshed-Harel

Every phenomenon, including the lack of the desire to have children, is a result of our attitude for our development. Technology eliminates the need for a family.

There is an internal program in nature that advances us. The steamroller of evolution pressures us and different processes take place whether we like it or not.

In the future we will not have to work so hard in order to survive and then the question of what are we living for will arise. Nothing that happens naturally is tragic. We simply have to explore where nature is leading us. On our next level of evolution man will want to penetrate the great “computer” of nature.

The future generation will desire to reproduce through internal and spiritual connection with all of mankind. This will be a new kind of evolution. By connecting our desires and our thoughts we will become one man. This will not happen by technology such as artificial intelligence and such but by our internal development.

In the future all our needs will be provided and all we will have to do is to find out what we truly need. An internal revolution!
