In the News (from The Guardian): “Atheist camp to give children ‘godless alternative’” An atheist summer camp for children is to be held in the UK for the first time this year, offering a “godless alternative” to similar religious events under canvas… The purpose of Camp Quest UK, which has been praised by the atheist and skeptic author Richard Dawkins, is to encourage critical thinking and provide children with a summer camp “free of religious dogma”…Camp Quest UK’s website says its counselors and volunteers will lead activities teaching eight to 17-year-olds “about science, free thought and humanist principles. Activities cover critical thinking, science, history, human rights and ethics”.

My Comment: The religious view of God as an angry or an all-forgiving persona originated from ancient human fears of Nature and our desire to safeguard and secure ourselves.

But the complete negation of a higher world (which is impossible to perceive using our egoistic desires but which we are in a position to perceive if we change our desires in the opposite direction) also restricts a person to the physical world without giving him an understanding of “science, free thought and humanist principles.”  In fact, the denial of religion gives birth to yet another religion.

Kabbalah explains that this world consists of two forces. Our world is based on the force of the will to receive. But an opposite world is possible, an anti-world, which is based on the will to bestow. Kabbalah is the method for the revelation of this other world to man.

In the News (from The Times Online): “Alcohol-related deaths up by 40% in ten years” – The number of people dying from alcohol-related causes rose by nearly 40 per cent from 5,287 in 1999 to 7,341 last year,  figures obtained by the Conservative MP James Brokenshire, a shadow Home Office minister, show.

The number of deaths among women rose by 32 per cent and among men by 43 per cent. Deaths with an underlying cause related to alcohol among people under 40 rose by 24 per cent, the figures revealed.

My Comment: Only education is able to change society and bring it to the perfect state, so that it will positively influence the economy, culture and the path of progress. I have included methods of the re-education of society according to the principals and methods of Kabbalah in my book “The Last Generation.” (available in Hebrew). There is no other path of salvation for all nations and the world.

Kabbalah does not just offer obvious natural methods such as education, but a method of self-discovery and change that is based on the structure of the Nature of the worlds and the souls. Therefore, though the actual proposal sounds trivial, it means “The Kabbalistic Education – A Person Changing Under Influence Of The Upper Light,”  which takes place exactly with “usage” of Kabbalistic texts. It is not just the studying of these texts as informational material that causes the change, but also the studying with the intention of changing one’s own qualities. In this case, a person draws onto himself the Upper Quality – the Light.

By using this method, we can change ourselves and the world for the better. All other actions lead to the growth of evil in order to come to recognize it and then subsequently to return to the method offered by Kabbalah.

The world is something that we perceive and it does not exist outside of us. It depends only on our individual inner qualities. Therefore, when I say “education” I mean the complete change of a person from the level (of comprehension) of this world to the level (of comprehension) of the spiritual (eternal, perfect) world. The manner in which a person perceives the world is the same manner in which he perceives himself. (See material about the perception of reality).

In the News (fromThe Huffington Post): “Schwarzenegger Declares Fiscal Emergency In California” Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has declared a fiscal emergency to address California’s deficit and has ordered state offices closed three days a month to save cash. The government shutdown will lead to a third furlough day each month for 235,000 state employees, bringing their total pay cut to about 14 percent.

My Comment: This in relatively well-to-do California!  So what about Mexico just across the border?

A question I received: I was never a good socializer and not exactly a communicative person. Actually, being among large groups of live people is a big torture for me. I lose all desire to talk, I go berserk; I feel that I am deficient, etc.. You teach us: “Create your own environment”, I feel that will never be able to. But I can’t imagine living without Kabbalah studies and I continue to read books and study over the Internet on my own.

People that surround me don’t like me. I simply hate them, and I hate myself, too. In one of the forums they told me to mix more. But what can I do if I the word “mixing” makes me sick?

My Answer: It’s just wonderful! Continue anyway you can, and the Light will lead you to a new state, resolution and circumstances. Most importantly – no matter what, continue your studies.

The US, with Europe, announced that it would start formal “dispute resolution consultations” at the WTO in Geneva … Taking China to the WTO marks a sharp deterioration in relations between the world’s largest trading powers. Sources in Geneva said: “In terms of trade disputes, it doesn’t get bigger than this.”

My Comment: If they don’t come to an agreement, then the cannons will start speaking as they have done in the past.

A question I received: Based on the gaming principle, what can you advise humanity to do in order to improve the systems of interconnections, which contain us all?

My Answer: Due to the crisis, nowadays everyone needs to participate in the game of giving to each other. You can call it treating each other well according to the rule of “don’t do unto others what you find hateful.”

Such is one of the stages of development: be considerate of other people, since we are all in one boat; unite with them in benevolent relationships, like with neighbors. I don’t hurt you, you don’t hurt me; I don’t lie to you, you don’t steal from me. We live this way, as kind neighbors. No one owes anyone anything – we just maintain mutuality, connection, and collaboration. This is benevolent friendship, the first stage.

Then an opportunity will emerge to develop this condition and to explain it on a broader scale. When people reach this state, they will get used to the thought that the solution to the crisis is in the connection among people. If a person knows that he can receive all the necessities of money, rest, health, and safety, through a common connection, he will wish to unite. After all, if he wishes to live, and he doesn’t want his family to be in need, he will be willing to unite.

The next stage will come when people will see all the positive results from the connection between them and they will begin to value it. A need to show them that the connection doesn’t just provide a positive corporeal life will then emerge. They will begin to feel that there is something greater to it, and they will discover the next stage, since every new step is developed from within the previous one.

A question I received: Changes are taking place at the White House, a new President has come to power, and the pressure on Israel has increased. This can lead to the intensification of conflicting views in our nation. Maybe we should concentrate our thoughts on this particularly?

My Answer: Politics is unstable and nonlinear; the public’s expectations of political figures very rarely match politicians’ plans; instead, they are aimed at particular goals. It is a complicated matter, which we shouldn’t try to penetrate.

However, it is necessary to understand that, to the extent that the nation of Israel delays carrying out its mission, the pressure on it will increase. We must lead people to understand and feel the need for correction. They must agree to play their role in the spiritual development of all of humanity. The nation of Israel should understand and accept this duty and realize its fault for what is happening.

The pressure on us will grow in order to wake up the nation of Israel. This is precisely what has happened to us over the course of history – starting with the Egyptian pharaoh and on present time. Prophets wrote about this; they said that if we don’t come to realize what responsibility is placed on us, we will need to go through very difficult trials.

The pressure that we experience is nothing more than the states that we have not yet corrected, and although we need to, we have not taken advantage of the opportunities that have been presented to us. To the extent that the pressure increases, we can judge our uncorrected states. However, the states themselves are revealed only to the extent of a person’s development.

Every process of growth and development on the vegetative and animate levels, each change, consists of two steps: the action itself and the outcome, which is predetermined and simply revealed to us.

A bullet hits a piece of glass, and the glass breaks. We think that the cause of this event is the firing of the gun, and the outcome is a broken glass. However, this is not so. Everything is planned ahead of time, the results of our actions already exist and they precisely bring into effect the causes, which we see.

When politicians all over the world scream, wave their arms around, and try to do something, this means that the events, which have existed in the spiritual for a long time, need to materialize in the physical world. This is why particular material objects are used.

Meanwhile, it seems to us that politicians actually determine these events. However, this is an illusion – a game, a puppet show of sorts. During the breaks, at which time the scenery changes, man is pushed to rise above all this and to realize the Upper governance, which has been producing the show for humanity throughout all its history.

We need to rise from one step to the next, until the complete correction.  All of these steps were  prepared for us long ago, since everything was determined from the moment that the world was created. All that’s left for us to do is make an effort. All that’s being asked of us is to try to reveal, to feel, and imagine our next state. To the extent that we wish to imagine our future state independently, we grow and advance toward it, like an infant who wishes to become fully grown. This is the difference between the animal and the human levels. With his desire and effort, a person draws his more advanced state closer.

If we free ourselves of the unnecessary, extraneous activities which are not related to the correction of relationships between people, we would do what is necessary. This is the only action where we can implement our freedom of will, and we would see precisely what we need to do and where we need to correct ourselves.

This is only a small area, but it should be clear to absolutely every person that this is where the focus of our choice lies. If we correct our relationships, we will reach the end of correction and the goal of creation. However, if we do not clarify this, we have no choice in our actions and will remain like animals.

Nature will show us our corruption in all of its aspects: in the state of the economy, health problems, the system of upbringing and education of children and family relationships – in all the forms of egoism that are enclosed within us.

If we do not correct the relationships between people, everything else will be presented to us by Nature in a broken manner.
