Silence Is a Very Loud Thing

565.01Comment: It is interesting that in Japan, instead of “I love you,” they sometimes say, “You are my silence.”

My Response: Beautiful

Question: How would you comment on that?

Answer: It is clear that they appreciate silence, and that is why they say it that way.

Question: Do you also appreciate silence?

Answer: Yes.

Question: To sit like this and be silent, is that it?

Answer: I can be in silence for eternity.

Question: There are a lot of comments on your videos that it is better to remain silent. Silence is golden, as it is said. And so people ask, “When to keep silent, when to speak?”

Answer: Always keep silent!

Question: But before that, we agree that we will remain silent?

Answer: There is no need to agree, just react that way.

Question: And is this how this chain will continue, you start and then?

Answer: Yes, and everyone will gradually understand that.

Question: Will the state that it is good to be silent come?

Answer: Yes, silence is loud and filled with a great amount of information.

Question: And is that why there is no need for unnecessary information?

Answer: There is no need for unnecessary movement or words.

Question: But what about the good words we express?

Answer: It is all empty.

Question: What about saying “I love you,” for example?

Answer: That is because a woman wants it.

Question: And can the same thing be said silently?

Answer: I would not say anything, but say it if necessary.

Question: “They love with their ears,” they say. Is this correct in your opinion?

Answer: Of course.

Question: So should it be said to a woman?

Answer: Yes.

What Should Children Read?

112Alyona writes:

Dear Michael Laitman,

Parenting is one of my greatest concerns today.
I found this quote from Korney Chukovsky: “Hearing a fairy tale, a child usually sides with the kind, courageous, or unfairly treated. Our whole task is to awaken, foster, and strengthen, in the pliable mind of a child, this precious ability to empathize, sympathize, and share other’s joy, without which a human is not really a human.

In your opinion, which books should be available to a child? A battle of good and evil so the child can choose a good force or books that describe this world as completely good without any evil?

Answer: At first, completely kind books for elementary school children if I may say so. And then in a more natural way books where evil is present on a par with good: Good wins, evil retreats, and so on until a child matures and begins to read books and novels where evil prevails.

Comment: Such is a person’s preparation.

My Response: To bring him out of fairy tales and introduce him to real life.

Question: And in real life where evil wins?

Answer: Of course. So a child must learn not to oppose evil because he will only bring problems on himself. He must learn that evil wins, but he should remain on the sidelines; at no point does he engage in a fight against evil.

Comment: I understand this progression. At first, he is just a small, gentle child; we don’t want to scare him. The first stage is clear. Second, gradually evil appears, yet good still wins. This too is clear, so he would be on the side of good. Then you made a drastic turnaround, you said our world is all evil.

My Response: Meaning, we explain to a child that although there is good and evil in our world, we need to dodge evil.

Question: Is this what we explain to the child?

Answer: Yes, to a child, but only at the third stage.

Question: So you don’t accept evil after all? One should avoid it, as you said. This is the third stage.

When does he understand that our world is built on evil?

Answer: He will understand this when he is in the third stage. He will turn away, step back, and distance himself from it. Then comes quite an interesting stage when he gets involved with evil and uses it for his own selfish needs, career advancement and so on.

Question: So our little protagonist, who started out so pure, suddenly climbs the career ladder, stepping on others and so on?

Answer: Yes

Question: And then the fifth stage, should he understand he is like that?

Answer: We have not yet reached this in our world, so we have no clear examples. That is why I don’t want to talk about it.

Question: But should he at least come to the conclusion that this is bad?

Answer: He must come to the conclusion that he cannot live in such a world, that indeed in our world of egoism everything is distorted. So he has no choice but to simply distance himself from this world as much as possible, because he still has to exist, provide for his children, and so on. But in general it is a problem.

Comment: It’s a problem to isolate yourself from this world. Especially now when social media is everywhere.

My Response: Yes, but if he knows this basic principle, he distances himself from the world.

Question: The principle that it’s all a lie, that everything he’s being fed is paid for and that he needs to distance himself?

Answer: Right.

Question: Then just tell us the right way to distance oneself. What should one surround oneself with? No wonder, Alyona asks: “What to make available to a child?” And now I’m asking you about adults: what should one surround oneself with, how can one distance oneself from the world?

Answer: Surround yourself with self-care. Find something you love besides work or home. I remember I had a neighbor who was into woodwork. That’s all. That was his activity. He searched for all sorts of wood, logs, and everything else and then worked on them. Made birdhouses, all that kind of stuff. He liked it.

Question: So you are gradually, gently bringing us to such a way of distancing yourself from the world by taking up a hobby? Collecting soldiers, I don’t know how to process woodworking?

Answer: It doesn’t matter, yes.

Question: And then? Still, how do we take care of the soul?

Answer: Well, I’m talking about ordinary people.

Comment: But let’s take it a step further.

My Response: This will bring him closer to his soul.

Question: So we have now gone from a small child to an adult. Where should a person come to as a result, having gone all this way, in the end?

Answer: To the fact the simplest handiwork softens the soul. In general, he will be satisfied with his existence.

Question: But will this question vex him, after all, such a small question about his soul?

Answer: Maybe, yes, and maybe that will be enough for the level of development of his soul.

Book Number One

526Question: You wrote your book Attaining The Worlds Beyond 30 years ago if not more.

This book is also published in audio format. This means it will be even more accessible. This is the most accessible format today—people do not read. They prefer to listen in the subway or the car.

This book became book number one for many. Thanks to this book, many people came to Kabbalah and thought about the meaning of life.

Please tell me what you put into this book. What is the secret?

Answer: It seems to me that I simply tried to express my impressions of my encounter with Kabbalah there. Maybe it is because this book is so direct that people respond to it so much.

Comment: You also said that you wrote it in just about two weeks.

My Response: Correct.

Question: At what point does it happen that a person delivers it in such a way?

Answer: When it accumulates and pressures him from within, then that person just pours it all on paper.

Question: Did you feel like you were obligated to pour it out?

Answer: Yes; otherwise, it would weigh on me. It is like giving birth.

Question: Does this book sound like a child?

Answer: Yes.

Question: The audio version of this book is coming out now. People will listen. How is listening different from reading? What works more or less here?

Answer: Reading is still more intimate, and listening to someone is no substitute for reading.

Comment: Recently humanity has been listening to audiobooks more and more. But you still encourage reading in the old-fashioned way.

My Response: I am for reading. It is very intimate. I would not replace one with the other.

Comment: But you can combine it somehow. Listen while driving when there is no opportunity to read. And then come home and read it.

My Response: If I listen to something like that internally, I cannot drive a car and listen. I am in it with all my senses.

Once upon a Time Light and Darkness Met

595.06Question: Light and Darkness met. “What do people find in you?”—exclaimed Darkness in surprise. “Neither beauty nor mystery—you just hurt one’s eyes!”

Light did not answer. It just politely stepped aside and silently illuminated the road because Darkness was heading toward an abyss without even seeing it.

Today everyone has the feeling that we are approaching an abyss and there is no one to light the way. What can light the way?

Answer: Mutual assistance and compassion. Only that.

Question: So if we manage to approach each other, we will be able to see that we are approaching the abyss?

Answer: Yes.

Question: In this parable, Light did not say anything to Darkness, it simply stepped aside and illuminated the path. It illuminated the path anyway. Why does light shines on everyone: criminals, haters, simply everyone!

Answer: This is its property, to shine on everyone.

Question: It seems to say: “Move away, you are interfering with me.” And Light moved aside and continued to shine. This is some kind of annulment. That is, someone sees this light, and someone does not. How can one see it? How can one feel that it is light?

Answer: This is the light of bestowal, the light of compassion, the light of rapprochement. This is the meaning of light.

Question: That is, light as such, as something extraneous, does not exist?

Answer: No, these are not photons that illuminate our retina.

Question: And not the light that is spoken about in spiritual practices, but namely the rapprochement between us?

Answer: Yes, it provides the condition where light spreads from itself and further on in all directions. And if this connection does not exist, then light cannot unite and conduct itself through all the matter.

Question: Suppose, people connect, do they begin to shine for everyone?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Or is this abyss visible only to them now?

Answer: No, this cannot happen. It shines for all.

Comment: That is, connection of even a handful of people brings light for everyone.

My Response: Yes. Initially they should realize what they connect for if they get connected. There must be an intention in advance to achieve light for everyone.

Question: Why should people connect?

Answer: To shine for everyone.

Why Did Iran Really Attack Israel?

294.2Question: Persians are an ancient people, Iranians. Why do they always want to destroy us? We have a long and varied history with them.

It started with King Cyrus, who released the people from captivity in Babylon and said, “Go to your homeland and build the Temple.” Everything was fine after that, but now we are constantly on the brink of a major war with them. Mostly, they instigate, but don’t especially take direct actions. Apart from these recent events: they launched drones, missiles at us. There was a lot, and mostly, thank God, they didn’t reach their target. Do they really want to destroy us or not?

Answer: What they want doesn’t really matter. Many want that. Everyone wants it! I don’t think they seriously hope to win a conflict with us. It’s more for show.

Question: Who wants it more, the ayatollahs or the people? If we can divide it like that.

Answer: I think the leadership.

Question: So you believe the people don’t have a deep, intense hatred?

Answer: No.

Question: What is your personal attitude toward Iranians? How do you feel about them?

Answer: Friendly.

Comment: In general, our relations with them have always developed differently, but in many ways they were very good in the 50s, 60s, even in the early 70s.

My Response: Yes.

Question: We built oil bases and cities there. They came here. Ben-Gurion went there, to Tehran. But at some point, almost eveyrones’ relationship with us starts deteriorating.

What is the turning point, this upheaval?

Answer: I believe it is from above, it is not our or their psychology’s fault. I believe it is from above. The Creator just needs to push us toward an upper goal.

Question: So He orchestrates these conflicts?

Answer: Yes.

Question: So you see it all as the Creator’s play?

Answer: Of course.

Question: In everything?

Answer: Absolutely!

Question: In everything that happens in the Middle East?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Toward us? His game?

Answer: Of course, to correct us, to make us correct ourselves. That is what we must do, and I think we are obligated and will do it.

Comment: It seems that until we come to the point of what we need to correct in ourselves, He won’t be satisfied. It will continue.

My Response: Naturally!

Question: So will it get stronger and stronger, more and more?

Answer: There is no need to even discuss that, it must happen.

Question: How are we not correct in His eyes? What makes us bad in His eyes?

Answer: In the eyes of the whole world we are not corrected, and we are not right, and everyone has some special claim against us.

In principle, if we speak at a higher level, we do not reach the level necessary for our development.

Comment: But we don’t know what that is. We’re like children it seems.

My Response: That does not matter. That does not absolve a person from duty, responsibility.

Question: So we need to first understand what we need to correct within ourselves. Right? And agree to it?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Who will tell us about this?

Answer: The Creator.

Question: And how does He do that—by speaking? Right now He only sends enemies against us, so to speak.

Answer: He wants us to become His people.

Question: What does that mean?

Answer: It means doing what He desires.

Question: What does He desire?

Answer: He wants us to show an example to all nations of the world of how everyone should be.

Question: How should that be?

Answer: With open hearts, love, and embracing everyone. Show everyone what the Creator expects from us and from creation in general. We must do all this ourselves and now.

Question: Is this our task? The task of this nation?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Can others do this without us?

Answer: No, no one! This is all entrusted to us.

Question: Then will it start spreading along the chain to the world and so on?

Answer: Let’s see how it goes. Yes.

Question: What if we don’t hear this? Naturally our nature is egoistic after all. So if I have a bad relationship with someone, if I don’t love someone, I push someone away. And you say: “You must love them, open your heart to them.” What if I continue to fight with my neighbor? Then will the war continue?

Answer: Yes it will until I am convinced that I need to seek another way of interacting with others. We are guilty before the world for holding the secret of creation, the secret of correction, within us.

Question: Which is this connection with others, with neighbors?

Answer: Yes.

Question: This simple formula—my connection with my neighbor—is the secret of creation? Is that what you’re saying? Open your heart and love them, despite everything.

Answer: Yes.

Question: I see. And are we constantly being pushed toward this?

Answer: We ourselves say that this is what the Creator desires. So if He desires it, let’s do it. Well! It doesn’t work.

Question: Why doesn’t it work? In principle, it sounds very beautiful.

Answer: It doesn’t work because we don’t want to turn to Him to teach us, to help, to push.

Comment: Right now, our natural response to all our enemies is to strengthen our army, the country’s security, and so on. And you say we need to…

My Response: We need to strengthen the connection between us and show the world that this is the path to a good future. And then all these games won’t make sense at all.

Can Interacting with Stones Heal?

49.03Question: Unusual pets are becoming popular in South Korea. They are not dogs, they are not cats, they are rocks.

There are many touching stories about how people are stressed, do not want to burden their loved ones with their experiences, do not want to take responsibility for dogs or cats, but they simply take stones, buy stones, start dressing them up and talking to them. For example, a woman described how her day went at work to a stone.

What kind of transition is this? Is it evolution or is it degradation? You won’t share your stress with a friend, you don’t talk to a dog or a cat, but you talk to a stone. What do you think it is?

Answer: First of all, we must understand that these are Koreans. Therefore, we do not need to pay special attention to this as some kind of worldwide change of man toward nature. It will all pass.

But in general, this is an interesting thing. This way they can heal themselves.

Question: And when a person talks to some inanimate nature, to stones? They even say that they dress them up, talk, do you think this is a natural state?

Answer: This is a natural state for them. It is kind of like a kid with a doll. It is still on a purely childish level.

Question: Then the question that arises from this is: is it necessary for us to communicate with someone?

Answer: We have the upper force; we have to communicate with it.

Question: Can you explain this communication: what you do not see or feel?

Answer: You can only imagine the Creator as it is written in books. Otherwise, you cannot think of anything else.

The sages describe it as a force of nature that we must follow. This is the same thing that Abraham and all the others said, all the prophets down to Baal HaSulam and Rabash.

Question: How can I make myself believe them?

Answer: I think this is a matter of the gradual inner development of a person. It is gradual in our time, which will soon show us what we really need to go after.

Question: So you think we will be pushed toward this communication one way or another?

Answer: Yes.

Question: In principle, does it turn out that all beliefs pass through the character of the nation?

Answer: Yes, of course.

Question: The message—is it just one?

Answer: There is one message. You need contact with the upper force that can guide you and bring you into contact with it.

Question: Can we say that this message exists, but every nation passes it through itself?

Answer: Yes, but this is a matter of thousands of years. Only for each nation, it is still at its own level.

Question: And when it says: “God will be one and one for all”?

Answer: It will happen, but we need to develop.

Question: So all these currents, all these religions will come to this peak?

Answer: Yes, there is no other way.

Question: Will there not be a mass of currents, a mass of religions?

Answer: No, on the contrary, they will see that they are in some kind of similarity to each other and will begin to connect.

How Many Roads Lie Before Us?

760.2Question: A knight stood at a crossroads, looked at three ominous signs, and went home to learn to read. First the question arises: how many roads do we actually have before us? Each one has something written on it. Can you tell me what is written on them that we do not understand? We, who have finished school, are PhDs, Doctors of Science, we do not understand what is written. We need to go back and somehow learn to read. What is written there?

Answer: It says: “Do not seek happiness, but uncover it within yourself.”

Question: And somehow we cannot read it. What is it about it that I do not want to agree with and go down this path? Or even read it.

Answer: Because there is no road actually. There is no road. It is just a stone that stops you. And now you have to learn how to achieve that inner freedom where you stand. In principle, you do not need to go anywhere. Standing before this stone now, you must find the truth. That is, a person must go inside himself. And then it will work out for him.

Question: What will I find there within myself?

Answer: You will find yourself: who I am, what I am, what for, why, and what I want to find. You will find all that only within yourself.

Question: We say that the nature of a person is largely understood. It is the desire to receive—egoism. What will I find there besides that?

Answer: Everything starts with egoism.

Question: So the starting point will somehow be there. I will understand that this is my nature; is that it?

Answer: Yes, and how I can control it, this nature of mine.

Comment: So, I feel that it does not lead me to great happiness.

My Response: It does not lead me to happiness. It has led me onto this road, and I must continue along it. Where? What? Nothing is known, and there is no point. And I will search for it during all my miserable remaining years until I return to the same stone, at the same crossroads, only now tired, gray-haired, like Don Quixote on a dead horse. And that is it.

Question: And that is it? And is it my nature that has spun this for me?

Answer: Yes.

Question: This contemplation, is it better to happen sooner rather than later?

Answer: Of course!

Question: Is this the road that I must scrutinize?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Is it every person’s destiny to come to the “stone” and stand before it like this?

Answer: Everyone has such an opportunity. But to what extent one is willing to be content with this, to stop at this, I do not know.

Question: So, you think that many of those who set out on those roads, go down those roads, it is all wrong?

Answer: Yes.

Comment: Our ego leads us, demands, and we run along the roads? But we should stop, not rush anywhere.

My Response: We should stop, think, and turn back.

Question: And turn back home?

Answer: Yes.

Question: It says here: “Return home, learn literacy.” Learn literacy. What does it mean to learn literacy?

Answer: To learn literacy means to correctly decipher the questions that arise in your heart. These are actually the questions. And literacy, I would say it is like what your heart tells you. Learn to listen to it, to talk to it, and to be satisfied with what your heart suggests to you.

Question: The heart, what is it?

Answer: The heart is my “self.”

Question: It is not the mind?

Answer:: No, the heart is me. And I want to feel myself, know myself, uncover myself as if I am speaking to myself and standing before myself. It means to speak with your heart.

Question: So I need to truly stand before myself? And all this time I am running away from this “self” of mine?

Answer: Yes, we are running away from ourselves. I always stand before myself, and I run away from it.

Comment: There must be something there that we do not want to know.

My Response: I do not want to talk to it.

Question: Is that literacy? To learn literacy is it to speak directly with myself?

Answer: Yes.

Which to Choose: Plain Truth or a Beautiful Lie?

600.04Question: There were two books on the bookshelf, one was expensive with beautiful binding and the other in a cheap, poor binding. The owner read the expensive, pretty book and said: “This is neither for the mind nor for the heart.” He read the inexpensive one, cried, and said: “I have never read anything more useful for the soul.”

He still left both books on the shelf, one for the soul and the other, beautiful one, for people.

Why, after the owner found the truth, does he think so poorly of others?

Answer: He does not think poorly. First, he has no right to take away their freedom of choice or impose anything.

Second, only in this way, when you have two sides of the same coin can you show a person which path leads him where. Therefore, we must leave both books.

Comment: He found the truth. He wants others to slowly get closer to it too.

My Response: Certainly.

Question: Still, can one live only through inner work, only through this unsightly book that contains the truth?

Answer: No, this work must be combined with practice. Practice is a struggle. It is a physical fight with those who oppose it. That is why we returned to this country, to this land, and why the Creator prepared what for us to do in advance, these trials.

Question: If we reach the truth, will these trials seem to dissipate? Isn’t that why they exist, to push us?

Answer: Certainly, trials exist so that we can build ourselves and this truth to enter us.

Question: Do we still meet a person based on our soul or appearance?

Answer: I do not know. It depends.

Question: I will ask it even more simply: Is love at first sight based on one’s soul or appearance?

Answer: At first sight, something that is brighter catches your eye.

Question: What about love at first sight when, for example, one can no longer live and walks around thinking only about it?

Answer: If this is already becoming awareness, the first glance will not help.

Question: So the look is still external?

Answer: Yes, it is simply blinding. And then, when you begin to look closer, it is no longer love and not the first glance. It is already a feeling of similarity, closeness, understanding, devotion, etc.

Question: Does the similarity of properties allow people who live 50 and 60 years together to continue like this?

Answer: Certainly, those people who have lived together for more than 10 years, even just 10 years, already live on what they have acquired—those common feelings, properties, understandings, and so on.

Question: Grigory Perelman, a famous mathematician, refused a million-dollar prize and did not want to move anywhere. He lives, or lived, with his mother, alone, and so on. He has nothing external; he is always dressed the same. He lives internally. What is it? Or is this a natural state for scientists?

Answer: This is the natural state of life for people like him who live to understand creation. Feeling the image of creation within himself is the most important thing for him. He is disconnected from everything.
He is not interested in politics, war, or anything else, only in his cerebral uneasiness, which does not give him peace.

Question: What kind of world do such scientists live in? It isn’t in this one, is it?

Answer: No, not in this one of course, not the world of today. Most of the scientists live in some kind of interstellar space.

Question: Is this world enough for him? What is enough for him? Sandals, trousers, shirt, and off you go?

Answer: Yes, that is how he appears.

Question: His world is different. Is it a rich world?

Answer: It is a world in which he feels rich and sufficient. There is nothing else.

Question: I will ask you as a scientist, how does he perceive all of us, everyone around him who make films about him, talk about him, and so on?

Answer: Indifferent.

Question: As if we do not exist?

Answer: Yes, for him, it does not exist.

Question: Great scientists, were they like that?

Answer: There are very few of them. Each of them has its little devil inside.

Question: Kabbalah is the science of inner experiences and desires. Even though we are disseminating Kabbalah, are we still making it external to people and gradually attracting them? Or what are we doing?

Answer: We want to attract people to the inner state of Kabbalah that speaks about the revelation of the Creator to man in our world.

Question: Do we make it attractive to them for this? Is this right?

Answer: How else will you do it?

Question: So, do we have to spruce it up for them?

Answer: Of course, all people are like children. When we approach something or someone, we approach from afar, gradually.

Question: Is it possible to take complex texts and popularize them gradually?

Answer: Of course, yes. Baal HaSulam did what the Ari and other great Kabbalists before him did. They devoted a lot of time and attention to this.

Question: To bring this science to people?

Answer: Yes, it is very challenging. Although their highest texts are high for us. And for them, it was descending to people like us.

Question: So this is the correct process: do not rise to me, I will go down to you and raise you?

Answer: What else can you do? Otherwise, we will never have contact with those souls who have reached the Creator and are at that level.

Slender Figure: Beauty Or Harm To Health?

Is it Better to Know How You Will Live or How You Will Die?

198Question: A computer program has been launched in Denmark that quite accurately calculates the approximate year of a person’s death. There is no mysticism here, the creators of artificial intelligence say. It processes a huge amount of database data on each of the six million inhabitants of the country.

The life story of any person is a chain of events that happen to him, which includes education, chronic diseases, and genetics. And it is calculates it all out, calculates, and calculates. This machine is trusted because it has made pretty accurate predictions.

Do you think we need all these calculations, these machines? They will show with some accuracy when a person will die.

Answer: But before that, I probably also want to know something about myself: when I will become rich and healthy? When will I get married for the third, fourth, or fifth time? And so on.

Comment: That is, how I will live, not when will I die.

My Response: When I will die, everyone can say that.

Question: But it calculates for you when, by what date you need to prepare everything, hand over all your work, and so on. Do we need this?

Answer: I do not need it.

Question: You do not need it. And people do not seem to really need it either?

Answer: I do not know. There are people who care very much about leaving everything in order for after their death, putting all their affairs in order, and so on.

Question: The creation of such machines does not mean that we are as if putting our hands into the plans of the Creator?

Answer: No, a person just wants to end his life in a normal way without entering into any conflicts with anyone, and that is why he wants to know the day of his death.

Question: That is, he wants to prepare all the papers?

Answer: Yes, many people are doing this.

Comment: You once told me that when you came to Canada to bury your father and wanted to support your mother at that hour, you saw that your mother was more or less calm. Then you asked her: “What is the matter?” And she told you that she met a man who accurately told her the day of your father’s death.

Answer: Yes.

Question: She also asked you to call this person, and you talked to him. When a person is given such abilities as this psychic to predict the day of death, does this obligate him to something? Does it mean something, or is it just some kind of animalistic ability?

Answer: I did not see anything special in him; although, in principle, not everyone can predict such dates either.

Question: Did he predict exactly?

Answer: Yes, and when I called him, he said, “Oh, it is the son of so-and-so calling me.” Just by my voice alone.

Question: So you did not introduce yourself?

Answer: I did not introduce myself, not at all. And he immediately told me who and what, and how, when, and that I can come to him.

Question: When and why are such abilities given to a person?

Answer: He himself does not know. He does not know, and others do not know.

Question: So, basically, this artificial intelligence, there is nothing special about it either except for all these earthly things of ours?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Now about the Creator, who knows the root of the human soul and what guides it from the beginning to the end. Isn’t He supposed to guide a person from something to something?

Answer: Yes, of course.

Question: From what to what does the Creator guide a person?

Answer: From a small selfish desire to a larger, corrected one, maybe not final. Well, on and on and on.

Question: So one way or another, a person’s path is a feeling that I am an egoist and toward correction. Is this the whole human journey?

Answer: Yes.

Question: And it is not given to us to know the day of the death of egoism, shall we say?

Answer: No.

Question: We cannot create such a machine or meet such a psychic: when can I end this path with the death of my egoism?

Answer: No. You have to yearn until the last minute of your life for this egoism to disappear from you.

Question: And I would be corrected. And what do I gain then?

Answer: Then you will feel the Creator with all your heart and with all your feelings one to one.

Are We Eagles or Chickens?

707Question: Once a man found an eagle’s egg and placed it with some chickens. The eaglet grew up together with the chicks. Like them it clucked and scratched the ground, searched for worms, flapped its wings, and tried to fly. And one day, the grown eagle saw a proud bird in the sky. The bird was soaring, flapping its large wings.

Enchanted, the eagle asked, “Who is that?” “That’s an eagle, the king of all birds,” a fellow bird replied. “It belongs to the sky. But we chickens belong to the earth.” So, the eagle lived like a chicken and died like a chicken because it believed in its chicken origin.

Please tell me, who are we, humans? Are we eaglets tossed among chickens, or are we truly chickens who cannot fly?

Answer: In principle, we are indeed eagles. Not just eaglets, but eagles. However, we cannot play this role, even though we are clucked at from all sides.

Question: So are we eagles placed among chickens after all? Or do you believe that all of humanity can be eagles?

Answer: For now, it is still just chickens.

Question: What does whether I’m a chicken or an eagle depend on?

Answer: It depends on self-awareness.

Question: So, I must realize that I am an eagle. Who should tell me this or whisper it to me?

Answer: The higher purpose. You must feel it within yourself and understand that otherwise, it is not life.

Comment: So life is not being a chicken, but being an eagle.

My Response: For you, yes.

Question: What does it mean that I am an eagle?

Answer: To be an eagle means to strive for order in the world because otherwise it would not be life, but just a mere chicken coop.

Therefore, we have no other choice. We, generation after generation of failures, must, no matter how inferior, insignificant, small, or tangled we feel, still lift ourselves up and try to soar.

Question: So, basically, someday, one way or another, it will show that I am an eagle?

Answer: Yes, then it will show.

Question: Here it says that a man took an eagle’s egg and placed it with chickens. Similarly, the Creator took and placed us on this earth, as if saying you cannot fly, you can only walk on the earth. And you say we can still fly. Did the Creator instill in us that we can fly? Is it placed from above?

Answer: Yes, this feeling arises in us. And this question arises within us. And most importantly, all people on earth drive us toward this. Although, of course, they don’t encourage us explicitly to take such a place, such a role, but overall, it is so.

Question: So, we have this eagle’s point within us?

Answer: Yes. Look, although, throughout history, we were suppressed, burned, and whatnot, still, in the end, in each generation there are individuals, albeit few, who rise and move forward.

Question: Does the choice of environment depend on me or not?

Answer: It depends on you.

Question: So I choose the environment?

Answer: Yes. Having received spiritual inheritance, written sources from our great teachers, we can clearly and loudly say to everyone that we have it in our hands, and we must realize it.

Question: And can we fly?

Answer: Yes.

Question: At the level of the mundane, sometimes we hear one is told, “Sit and don’t make noise, you’re a chicken.” And another would be told, “You’re the king of the jungle, you’re an eagle, the king of birds.” When someone is put down in this way and someone is uplifted, what does it say?

Answer: It says that each person must choose for himself what destiny he chooses.

Comment: And the fact that they say so is…

My Response: And who’s saying it? “Who are the judges?”

Question: So in any case, it’s the individual’s decision?

Answer: Only!

Question: Despite being oppressed and so on, you must still make this decision?

Answer: It does not matter, yes.
