Repentance

laitman_293Question: This a special time before Rosh HaShanah (the Jewish new year) when people say Selichot (prayers of forgiveness). What is the meaning of saying Selichot?

Answer: The word “Selichot “already means that we have to ask for forgiveness during this time, for the sins and transgressions we have committed. But what does it mean?

We received only one commandment during the time of the Torah: “Love thy friend as thyself, is the great rule of the Torah.”

If we keep this commandment, we reach the love of the Creator. This is the whole goal of life and of humanity, a goal thanks to which we rise above this world until the level of the upper force. A person has to attain all that in his lifetime in this world, in our ordinary reality.

A person corrects himself consistently until he begins to love others like himself, and from the love of the created beings he reaches the love of the Creator. This love is called bestowal, giving. If I ascend above my ego and connect to others, I can do everything for their sake.

On the other hand, if I remain in my egoistic nature, it will never allow me to perform any altruistic acts, no matter how hard I try. It is impossible to imagine that I will suddenly love someone else and will be ready to give him everything that I have as if he were my own baby.

Our ego hinders and confuses us, diverting us from the direction of bestowal, leading us in the opposite direction, opposite to unity, connection, and bestowal unto others. At the same time, the world is forced to become increasingly more integral and so we witness more and more problems as our life becomes more and more difficult.

Nature on the whole: the world of still, vegetative, and animate nature are drawn to integral unity. Nature pushes us towards unity, but we don’t want it. We are like children locked up in a room constantly fighting with each other.

This is how the world advances towards the recognition of evil, of its egoistic nature, that doesn’t let us reach the goal of creation the Torah tells us about: unity, connection, and love.

The Torah tells us about the major law of the existence of the world since the general nature that surrounds our world is based on love and bestowal. It is opposite from what happens with us here on this planet in this closed sphere.

When the nation of Israel received the Torah at Mount Sinai, they accepted the condition that they will always focus their forces on attaining love of others. This is the major law of the Torah, and by keeping it we advance together with all of nature towards one goal.

But because our nature is opposite from this love, we need help from Above. We need the Light that Reforms. If we ask for help, we invoke the force that corrects our nature and helps us build the right connections between us.

A person was initially created with an egoistic nature and doesn’t accept unity and love of others, but at the same time, there is a means of correcting this ego, which is the Torah, the Light that Reforms.

In other words, there is a special force called the upper world, which influences a person and changes his nature into the opposite nature, which means that it reforms him and changes his nature from evil to goodness by correcting his evil inclination into a good inclination.

So the goal is clear: We have to reach the fulfillment of the law of love thy friend as thyself and by that reach the love of the Creator. This is the general trend of all of nature. But we will not be able to be incorporated in the right direction and advance in the right velocity towards correction if we don’t demand the Light that Reforms and don’t use the Creator the way we should. So we have to examine ourselves in order to understand what is happening to us.

Then we discover that we aren’t advancing along the right path. Every step along the path of correction is called a Mitzvah (commandment), which means the fulfillment of the instruction “love thy friend as thyself.” This whole path towards love is divided into 613 steps, 613 actions called Mitzvot.

This means that we have to keep correcting ourselves consistently, until we reach the love of others. Correcting ourselves by 612 actions we reach the 613th Mitzvah, which is love.

Therefore, before Rosh HaShanah we say Selichot. During this time we examine ourselves: “What did we do during the last year; how close have we gotten to love of others, to the connection of the whole nation of Israel?”

Here we see that we haven’t done anything, and even if we have, it was very little. This is what we ask forgiveness for! We must examine our actions in order to see to what extent they are opposite from the right direction and accordingly acknowledge our mistakes and transgressions in the states we have undergone. This is where the forgiveness arrives.

The Process Of Human Correction Has Begun

Dr. Michael LaitmanIn the News (vesti.ru): “Europe is paying for all the years that it conducted a colonial policy. To combat illegal immigration, France and England are establishing a special coordinating center.

“The experts in this center will be involved with monitoring the illegal immigration of refugees to Europe. In a word, this is called a deluge; rescue from which is not expected in the foreseeable future. Immigrants from the nations of Africa and the Middle East are reaching Europe in a massive stream. The quality and standard of living in Bulgaria or Romania is higher than in Libya, Iraq and Syria.

“Currently, there is a collapse organized by the Western nations, therefore the stream of immigrants to Europe has broken out. There is no solution to the immigration problem under current European conditions. The European Union cannot limit the flood of immigration, neither physically nor legally. What is left is only to build walls, but no wall will stop the immigrants who want and aspire to the good life in Europe. The European Union began its way specifically with the removal of fences and barriers. Has the opposite process now begun?”

My Comment: The reverse process cannot happen. The process of the mixing of the peoples has begun, as in the beginning of the development of our civilization in ancient Babylon. We are returning to the beginning. And we will be obliged to do what they did but did not complete, which was the ancient Jews under the leadership of our father Abraham, the founder all religions, connecting above all the oppositions and differences, as Abraham taught, according to the general rule, “And you shall love your friend as yourself.”

And the correction phase begins from the most egoistic part of humanity, from Europe. According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, continuation will come either through the way of suffering with the conquest of Europe by the Muslims, world war, the turning to Israel and the correction of humanity from hatred to love, or, through the way of Torah by accepting the method of the wisdom of Kabbalah in order to rapidly correct the universal ego from collective hatred to love.

Which will they choose?

Special Attributes Of The Third And Fourth Generations

Dr. Michael LaitmanThe Torah, “Numbers,” 14:17 – 14:18: Now, please, let the strength of the Lord be increased, as You spoke, saying, “The Lord is slow to anger and abundantly kind, forgiving iniquity and transgression, Who cleanses [some] and does not cleanse [others], Who visits the iniquities of parents on children, even to the third and fourth generations.”

There are three generations from Keter to Malchut: Hochma, Bina, and  Zeir Anpin. That’s the way it is in every spiritual state. The Creator’s image is formed on the fourth level, Malchut. The third generation is Zeir Anpin, a state of smallness, where the ego is erased and then fully corrected in the fourth generation. This is symbolized by the words: Who visits the iniquities of parents on children, even to the third and fourth generations. It is about the ascent of Malchut through Zeir Anpin to Bina, to Hochma, and then to Keter.

The Torah, “Numbers,” 14:19 – 14:23: Please forgive the iniquity of this nation in accordance with your abounding kindness, as You have borne this people from Egypt until now. And the Lord said, “I have forgiven them in accordance with your word. However, as surely as I live, and as the glory of the Lord fills the earth that all the people who perceived My glory, and the signs that I performed in Egypt and in the desert, yet they have tested me these ten times and not listened to My voice, if they will see the Land that I swore to their fathers, and all who provoked Me will not see it.

There is nothing bad about that. On the contrary, it is about a great mercy that the Creator performs when He kills everyone, which means that He kills all of the egoistic desire.

The reason is that it is only in the altruistic desires that replace the egoistic desires that the people can feel the state called the land of Israel. All this rage is necessary in order to correct egoism to altruism. No egoist can enter the state of the attribute of love and bestowal called the land of Israel. He must first die, which means to be reborn and enter it, either in a state of smallness (the third generation) or in a state of greatness (the fourth generation).

Therefore, when the Torah speaks about punishment, destruction and death, it refers to the egoism, which actually has to be destroyed. Only the attributes of love and bestowal that replace it will feel the state of the land of Israel.

How Do We Heal The Hatred?

Laitman_079_02Baal HaSulam, “Introduction to The Book of Zohar,” Section 71: The reason for their words is, as we have explained, that when all those who engage in the Torah degrade their own internality and the internality of the Torah, leaving it as though it were redundant in the world, and engage in it only at a time that is neither day nor night, and in this regard, they are like blind searching the wall, by that, they intensify their own externality, the benefit of their own bodies.

Also, they consider the externality of the Torah higher than the internality of the Torah. And with these actions they cause all the forms of externality in the world to overpower all the internal parts in the world…

In such a generation, all the destructors among the nations of the world raise their heads and wish primarily to destroy and to kill the children of Israel, as it is written (Yevamot 63), “No calamity comes to the world but for Israel.” This means, as it is written in the above corrections, that they cause poverty, ruin, robbery, killing, and destruction in the whole world.

The time has come to leave the exile, but it is still difficult for us to understand the truth, which is that we must reach “You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Leviticus 19:18), which was written in the Torah 3,000 years ago. It has been difficult for us to sustain what has been written for thousands of years since the giving of the Torah.

Moreover, it is difficult for us to acknowledge that we are the complete opposite of the central principle of the Torah because there is a deep, unfounded hatred that exists between us that is not found anywhere else. There is no other nation in the world with such hatred between the various sectors as exists among the people of Israel. There are people who live in the nation and hate it even though they receive everything good from it, and there are those who feel precisely the opposite.

Where else is it possible to find an entire population that wants to annihilate its nation and enjoys the destructive actions that it causes? Where else is it possible to find people who yearn for the annihilation, bankruptcy, and eradication of their nation? Where else are there people who enjoy it when something bad happens in their nation?

It is clear that the Klipot (Shells) are active here, higher forces that are revealed in this form. So, it is difficult to justify the words of the Torah.

Question: Are we pointing the finger of blame on these people?

Answer: Of course, we don’t blame anyone. After all, this is our collective problem, the trouble of the people who are in such a wretched state and must now rise up and overcome it.  I count on the secular part; it can actually approach the internal implementation of the Torah, even without “external support.” And maybe the two  parts gradually will complement each other until they unite and not mixed together.

Without a doubt, the analysis of Baal HaSulam is correct, but the solution will come through the secular world and not through the ultra-Orthodox world. After thirty years of living among the ultra-Orthodox population, I understand them very well. None of them is to blame for this. After all, all of us are remnants of the exile, especially the religious Jews, and they still are imbued with that spirit.

What is to be done if a person carries out actions that bring negative results because they accustomed him from childhood that these actions are obligatory? Everyone around him absolutely supports the external implementation and doesn’t support the internal part in any manner or form. This is also true among the secular population. No one wants to implement the principle, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Basically, everything had to happen, even the destruction of the First and Second Temples, the exile that continued until this very day, and the rise to the top, but this ascent can be revealed in different ways. It can exist in the way of Beito (in its time), as the default of the purpose of creation according to the relationship between Lights and Kelim (Vessels), but here is our freedom of choice. We can insert our awakening, our personal yearning, into this relationship.

If we want to unite the two parts of the people, we can do this only with the help of the Light that Reforms, which is the Torah, and it illuminates only someone who wants to return to the source. So, if I don’t aim toward a return to bestowal and love through serving others for the Creator, nothing will help, including study and external performance of the Mitzvot (Commandments), for this is not Torah and not Mitzvot. This is not the purpose of creation.

The physical actions in themselves are not useful at all. If I am satisfied with them only, my Torah is dry and barren, and as a result of this, I cause disasters to fall upon the people of Israel and the entire world.

There is nothing to be done for this is a law of creation. There is no reason to argue about it or disagree with it. All of the Kabbalists who achieved all of the systems in the world spoke about this unanimously, and today the time has come to reveal this knowledge to everyone.

The situation has become intolerable. The separation and hatred between us is heading toward a greater disaster than existed eighty years ago in Europe, and I am saying this in all seriousness.

The question can be asked: Can we allow ourselves to remain indifferent? In the twenties of the previous century, the Kabbalists in Europe called for the Jews to leave the place. Baal HaSulam organized an entire project to move them from Poland to the land of Israel, but the leaders of the community did not allow him to carry out his plan, and much later all of them perished in the Holocaust, both those who wanted to travel and those who did not allow them to do so.

The same thing is liable to happen to us here as well if we continue to advance in the same direction. So, it is forbidden for us to inquire as to who is right and who is not.

The Creator is right, establishing strict laws of relationship between the Light and the Kli. If we work to connect one with the other, then it will be good for us, and if not, then it will be bad.

I am to blame. In other words, we who have the knowledge must disseminate it among the people of Israel with all our might; we must turn to all who are ready to hear and understand us. So, it could be that a few drops will finally penetrate even into the second sector that is strongly against this.

In my opinion, the religious nucleus must be enveloped by the secular, the people who develop the characteristic of bestowal and love within their environment, and then it even will penetrate internally.

About The Blows Of The Past And Of The Future

Laitman_043Question: Several researchers of modern anti-Semitism refer to the fact that the Torah calls the nation of Israel the chosen and the holy nation, which is hard to swallow for those looking for a correction in equality…

Answer: It is not that the Torah tells us such things; it is the more the Israeli nation doesn’t display them and doesn’t proclaim them as its foundation. Many don’t know about this, but it didn’t decrease the intensity of their feelings.

We are actually dealing with the force found in nature, in our human desires. Even people who feel nothing towards the nation of Israel and who don’t know anything about its roots, still feel this hatred. It stems from their very nature, and there is nothing we can do about it. The vessels of the desire to receive naturally hate bestowal and true connection the Torah speaks about.

We don’t feel hatred towards this but resistance. Bestowal still belongs to us and not to anyone else. Those who don’t feel part of it hate it to such an extent that they are actually ready to destroy, kill, and eliminate it.

Nothing is more natural than this. This is actually the reason that Esau wanted to kill Jacob, but couldn’t do it because the subconscious image of Esau in a person is the thought that without Jacob he will not survive that stops him. We see in the Torah that it is impossible to manage in the world without a source of bestowal. But the desire to destroy or to subdue and to bend the attribute of bestowal still burns in a person, especially now.

We may wonder how this is possible in the 21st century. People don’t understand that a new era is beginning, which requires the nation of Israel to actually act. Previously this was so. Despite the hatred of the other nations, it wasn’t really obliged to fulfill the correction, but still underwent terrible sufferings.

Only recently, we haven’t suffered for a short time because the Creator enabled us to return to the land of Israel and determine that we are here in order to start the correction. But the initial period of our return to this land has ended. Baal HaSulam tells us about it in the “A Speech for the Completion of The Zohar,” saying that we were given the chance and now if the nation of Israel doesn’t actually fulfill its correction, all the sufferings we have underwent will seem like nothing compared to the new sufferings that will come.

It is because we have never been in a state in which we had to fulfill the correction after the exile of the nation of Israel, and so the account with this nation will be very hard. All the blows we received before were only in order to keep us from connecting with the nations of the world so that we would not forget. They helped us remain separate and to guard ourselves so that we would be able to return to the correction that will come later. But those were also terrible blows.

Now, however, they will come from a totally different source. We have to understand that it is our duty to bring the message of the correction to the world. After all,  ultimately we who are to blame. Others still don’t know about this, while we do know, and so we will be demanded to fulfill it. If we fall asleep, all the blows of the world will be on our conscience.

Two Inseparable Parts

laitman_557Our reality is divided into worlds, Partzufim, and Sefirot, which are the wrapping and place where the soul is found. The soul is the outcome of the evolution of this structure and it develops from its inner point.

Similarly, the still nature developed first in our world and then the nature of the vegetative on this planet, then the animals and finally man. This is exactly how the spiritual system that preceded the system of nature developed.

There is a correlation between the systems of the worlds and all its mechanisms and the system of the soul that is in the system of the worlds. The worlds are only the exterior part while the soul is internal.

There is in fact only one soul, but we don’t feel it. We will have to attain it in the future. The more we connect, the more we become part of this system, the more we begin to feel it. But in the meantime we are disconnected from this feeling.

The system of the worlds is divided into internality and externality. The internality is the systems of the world of Ein Sof (Infinity) and the world of AK and Atzilut. The externality is the worlds of BYA, including this world, which is the lowest level.

There is a soul that undergoes the shattering in these worlds, and it also includes two parts: internality and externality, both before and after the shattering, both for the sake of corruption and correction.

The internality of the souls are the people who yearn straight to the Creator, (Yashar-El), who yearn for adhesion with Him. 5,774 years ago Adam was the first to discover this yearning and discovered the system of the general soul and the worlds.

Then there were twenty generations until Abraham gathered the people who wanted to attain the Creator into a group and called it Israel (Yashar-El). Thus he also distinguished them from all the others so that they would be able to start working according to the principle of “love thy friend as thyself” and attain the equivalence of form with the Creator, and accordingly attain the upper system.

Later this group underwent the shattering and was exiled; as of today, this group, together with all those who join it day by day, is formatting and preparing itself for the correction. In general, the phase of correction has come not only for this group but for all of humanity.

On the whole, the division into two parts is kept the whole way: the nation of Israel (that yearns for the Creator) is divided into two parts, GE (internality) and AHP (externality). Humanity is also divided into internality and externality, and on the whole we can identify the two parts in every individual, since the “the individual and the general are equal.” This refers both to the worlds and to the souls after the general soul was shattered.

The internality and the externality are opposite from one another and the Upper Light operates on them in order to coordinate between the system of the worlds and the system of the souls.

The influence of the Upper Light on us is also divided into internality and externality because if there is a division in the vessels into two parts with respect to the Light,  the Creator, the upper system; the separation of functions is discernable in every facet.

Accordingly, the externality of the worlds is called the nations of the world and the internality is called Israel, according to the direction of Yashar-El. The nation of Israel and the nations of the world are also divided into internality and externality.

Every world, every Partzuf, in the general system in which the souls exist until they connect into one soul; this whole operating system that manages the souls is also divided into internality and externality, into GE (vessels of bestowal) and AHP (vessels of receiving).

The Main Law Of Israel: General Integral Education

laitman_254_01Question: We are all very different from one another. The nation of Israel is probably the most fragmented nation in the world since it is divided into a plurality of layers and factions in which there is an infinite number of differences.

If I differ from others, I can present to anyone an entire list of what he must correct about himself. So, how will we ever become one whole with all this criticism? After all, criticism invokes hatred and division. How should we unite if we are in continuous conflict?

Answer: We do it in discussion circles! These circles are held all over the country. In these circles, we try to teach people to connect and unite above all the differences. As it is written, “Love covers all transgressions.”

You can build love only when you ascend above all the “sins” that you see in others. The reason is that I see that the other is immersed in all the sins that are opposite to me, behaving in a contemptuous manner, relating only to others. I must build an umbrella of love that will cover all of us.

Question: What is this umbrella made of? What sustains it?

Answer: It is the fact that each of us ascends above himself in order to work out the connection with others. This is possible only with the help of education that the wisdom of Kabbalah offers to us.

We also must introduce this method of education in kindergartens, schools, universities, workplaces, and to the unemployed. It must become the most important thing! Every person, every citizen in Israel, should have a notebook with the tests and courses he has taken.

Question: What will these people study?

Answer: Integral education. They will learn how to become one nation, how to achieve brotherly love, connection and unity among everyone, and how to ascend above their ego and connect to others. Everyone must learn this; otherwise, he will not get any benefits from the state!

The study must be on a daily basis since a person must be renewed every day and must receive a new portion of knowledge. He must hear what he must fulfill, how crucial it is, what the connection and unity give us, and how it heals all of our illnesses.

This must become the general law, the supreme law of the country. After all, the problem of our country is to turn the nation into the nation of Israel since we will not be able to exist any other way.

We always have existed only if we were united and connected between us. The moment we ceased to be united, we fell from brotherly love to unfounded hatred, were thrown out of our land and dispersed among the nations of the world.

Now, we have returned to this land, but everyone already realizes that it is only temporary. Listen to what the American government says, to what the Europeans say, to what they keep saying in increasingly louder voices. They want to eliminate the state of Israel.

Question: What do you think can save us?

Answer: Just by becoming one whole! Then everyone will understand and feel that we are needed in the world because we set an example of connection and unity above all the differences. After all, this is what the world needs so much! This is called being a Light unto the nations.

All of nature is built on connection. If a single atom did not connect to another atom, we wouldn’t exist in this universe on this planet.

How has nature developed on this planet? It is only thanks to the connection of more and more components that were increasingly more different from one another. See what we have come to! This is the only way we can exist!

Now we must grow and ascend even higher in our internal, spiritual evolution so that we will be able to see the future world now, as it is written, “May you see your world in your lifetime.” It is all thanks to an increasingly greater connection. Nothing is attained any other way but by connection.

This is the reason that integral education isn’t just the education of “good kids” but a means to advance, not under the blows of nature, but thanks to the right solution of the problems that nature intentionally has given to us so that we will continue ascending above them and will unite more and more strongly. Now, we must continue the process of evolution, but by ourselves, implementing it on ourselves.

The Law Of Love Is Not Enforced By Parliament

laitman_547_06Question: How do we turn to people in Israel with our message in such a way that it will not antagonize them?

Answer: It is necessary to give a rational explanation and not present everything all at once, but gradually. Baal HaSulam explains the picture to us in a concrete and clear manner, in a very scientific way, in that he understands all of the troubles that are still liable to appear if the people will not change their direction. And we need to adapt this message for the wider public and explain to people that only through connection between us will we reach anything good.

Success in such areas as education, security, interactions between people and more is assured only by our own powers. The nation is not ready to do this; it is incapable of it. It cannot create a “Ministry of Love” that will resolve all problems between us. No nation is involved in anything similar. It always belongs to the citizens, to the people.

And on the other hand, in ancient times, before the destruction of the Temple, the highest political establishment of the people of Israel was specifically the “Ministry of Love.” All the other ministries were under it. There were taxes, education, and security, but all the other areas and ministries occupied lower levels of the national pyramid. And the “Minister of Love” was the High Priest.

Today, in order to transform the pyramid that has been created and bring it to the state that it must be requires painstaking work among the people.

Formula For A Happy Life

laitman_565_01Question: What does Putin want from Israel?

Answer: It doesn’t matter what he wants. It is said: “The hearts of ministers and kings are in the Creator’s hands.” Do not think of politicians as an independent power. Not one of them understands exactly what is going on in the world, neither Putin, nor Obama, nor anybody else.

Unfortunately, the same can be said about the Israeli government. Everything is in the Creator’s hands, not Obama’s, Putin’s, or Netanyahu’s. Thank God! Otherwise, the world would have already collapsed.

The world needs to be balanced; it has to attain a state where people clearly see what the system of relations among them really looks like. Only when our relations will be revealed to us, will we learn how to correct them. Only unity can lead us to correction. Politics, economics, industry, all kinds of international trade liaisons are useless. The only thing that can really help is a new type of education that will lead humanity to global unity.

Until now, the world connected through trade, economy, military, and security, but now we see that the connecting threads are temporary; they come and go. The prior world was built on the foundation of egoism. Now, it vanishes.

Question: What kind of unity does Israel have to offer to the world?

Answer: Israel will have to offer unity among and inside the nations. It’s the kind of unity that emerges above our egos. Our selfishness will teach us to rise above it and unite.

Israel is obligated to transfer the methodology of unity to the world since there is no other force that can do it rather than us. If Israel fulfills its mission, it will be the major country in the world; it will govern over and bring benevolence to other nations. It will spread the methodology of correction, unity, and love.

Our world is egoistic since all of us are born with a selfish nature. We have to implement a special methodology, a formula, that allows us to connect beyond the egoism that burns in every individual, each country, and among nations.

The people of Israel possess the methodology. The Jewish people used it three and a half thousand years ago. They still retain “records,” the internal data of the state of unity they have been through.

At some point, the Jewish people managed to implement unity. They constituted a single unity whose major value was connectedness. The Jewish people lived in unity for about fifteen hundred years, starting with Abraham until the destruction of the Temple.

Thousands of years ago, we fell from this height, from the state of unity that connected us above our egoism. Inside every person there is an ego, but there also is a force that helps us rise above it, beyond a constantly growing and renewing personal and overall egoism.

All of us make efforts to rise above our egoism and connect with each other beyond it. Should we succeed, we will reveal a new reality called the Upper world.

The common state we are trying to build together is called Adam (Man). Inside Adam, we will disclose a new spirit called the soul, the Upper Light, or the Creator. The world advances towards the state for which it was created.

The Way I Am Is The Way I See Others

laitman_423_02Question: Society in Israel today is very divided and full of hatred. It is split into many communities and factions according to a thousand different factors, and each one hates the others. You say that the holiday of Lag BaOmer is the turning point from hatred to unity between people?

Answer: Love is inseparable from unification. It is impossible to unite without love and it is impossible to love without uniting. Unity is an expression of love.

The counting of days of Omer is the correction from hatred to love. We came out of Egypt, revealed the kind of egoism that dwells in us, and we are beginning to correct it. This correction consists of 49 stages—the 49 days of counting the Omer, during which we fix our relationships with everyone else, starting with the easiest and progressing to more and more complex ones.

The 33rd day of Omer is the so-called “Lag BaOmer”—it is a milestone, and when we reach it we can be certain that we will correct all of our hatred, regardless of its power. When we reach this day, we receive such strength that allows us to correct everything else.

Hatred is corrected only with the force of the Light. With every day of the Omer comes a new portion of Light, a total of 49 portions, like an infusion. The Light is the force that is hidden in nature. Now we feel only a force of evil, egoism. In the whole word that surrounds us: the inanimate, vegetative, animals, people, and in ourselves we see only the force of receiving, consuming, and self-love.

The fact is that I am an egoist, and therefore I reveal only the egoistic part in every person, animal, and any creature, according to the principle of “one judges according to his own flaws.” The way I am is how I see others.

Thus, we feel that all of nature is a force of evil, egoism, which forces us to think only about ourselves and receive pleasure from the suffering of others. However, there is another force in nature: in addition to a minus, there is also a plus, a positive force. However, this force is hidden and we don’t feel it.

We have to extract this positive force from nature so that it can correct us and balance the evil force in us.
