Enrich Yourself Through The Desires Of Others

laitman_963.8Question: How should I grow my desire for spirituality? You are saying that it is possible to attach to myself the desires for spirituality of the others. Is there some kind of mechanism on how to do that?

Answer: Only in the form of self-annulment. You will not be able to acquire anything without annulling yourself. This is how you will suddenly begin to feel that this action allows you to absorb completely new qualities within yourself.

Question: How can one distinguish what desire it is?

Answer: Let’s say, you see a friend whose behavior you dislike. Annul yourself and begin to associate with his behavior, with his actions. Act as if you agree with and go along with him. Try to work on yourself in this way! Then you will begin to receive completely new, previously unknown sensations to you. This is what is called connecting with friends.

Look at the others—you dislike one thing about this one, another thing about that one. Try to annul yourself, to agree with the friend, to be together with him in his action, and you will see how this enriches you, how you are connecting with him. This is how the common Kli (vessel) in which the Creator appears is gradually revealed.

Twist Yourself Like A Rubik’s Cube

laitman_245.10Question: To arrange a Rubik’s Cube by color, it has to be twisted horizontally and vertically.

I can twist my head and body horizontally to see everyone and absorb them into myself. What should I twist vertically? What should I do to do a complete job?

Answer: You have to constantly twist yourself in all directions, i.e., constantly dodging, in order to connect with friends above all obstacles.

Imagine that the Creator constantly creates difficulties and problems for you, twists you around. You must dodge, twist and turn and act contrary to Him. This is a help against you. His main job is to create problems for us because we will not grow without them.

laitman_583.02Question: Dear teacher, where do you hide?

Answer: Within you.

Remark: I don’t feel it yet.

My Comment: That’s why it’s considered that I’m hiding.

Question: But what for? Help us.

Answer: This is precisely my help.

Question: I thought that you were somewhere between the ten and the Creator?

Answer: That is true. But it still means in hiding.

Remark: Thank you, this is already a revelation.

Elevate The Point In The Heart

laitman_224Rabash, “TANTA [Taamim, Nekudot, Tagin, Otiot]”: Taamim [flavors] means one who wants to taste a good taste in life should pay attention to his point in the heart.

Every person has a point in the heart, except it does not shine. Rather, it is like a black dot. The point in the heart is a discernment of the Nefesh [soul] of Kedusha [holiness], whose nature is a vessel of bestowal.

However, she is in a state of Shechina [Divinity] in the dust, meaning that a person regards her as nothing. Instead, to him she is as important as dust. This is called Nekudot [dots/points].

The point in the heart really is like dust, like something quite insignificant, even opposite to any importance. However, it exists necessarily in each of us, and it is from it that we can build our soul. It is because the soul is the quality of bestowal in us.

The point in the heart ignites in everyone and pushes us to something. It shows a person the insignificance of his state, problems, worthlessness, and emptiness. It leads the whole world. We must examine it and begin to elevate it, that is, come to the understanding that in the egoistic quality of reception we will be incapable of filling ourselves in any way. The world will be continuously destroyed and we will not be able to do anything about it.

The only thing we can do is to begin attributing importance to the point in the heart. It seems black in our perception because we do not want to be in the quality of bestowal. We resist and do not want to understand what it actually is.

This point is the yearning for spirituality, the desire for unity, the desire to bestow. However, we have no desire to bestow in us. Therefore, it shines with black light, giving us a sense of darkness in our life. This feeling pushes a person to search for fulfillment, to search for the meaning of life, from suffering, insignificance, and emptiness.

As soon as we begin to develop it, we will feel that it is of primal importance, because through it we enter into a completely different reality—the spiritual world.

What Is The Feast Of Tabernacles: Sukkot?

Dr. Michael LaitmanFrom My Facebook Page Michael Laitman 10/16/19

What does it mean to follow the Feast of Tabernacles, or Sukkot?

It means agreeing to erect a Schach, a thatched roof made out of plant scraps, which connects us under a single idea of unity, “as one man with one heart,” above differences.

By sitting in a Sukkah, a temporary dwelling, under its Schach, and wanting to enjoy from the Ohr Makif (surrounding light)—nature’s positive influence that emerges when we try to resemble its perfectly unified form—it is considered as enjoying in the shade of the Sukkah.

We respect the shade, i.e., our egoistic desires that detach us from each other, together with the understanding that we can be united only above our egos.

Therefore, we cover our egos with the Schach, i.e., concepts of loving and caring for others, concepts that are as scraps to our egos, holding zero egoistic importance. In the wisdom of Kabbalah, the Schach is also called a “Masach” (“screen”).

Below the Schach are our egos. Above it, we unite.

The Schach represents our common desire to love, bestow, and connect positively to each other, to be as one with everyone.

The Sukkah resembles the place of our unification, our common soul of Adam HaRishon where we all connect as one.

Therefore, following the Feast of Tabernacles, or Sukkot, means engaging in a common effort to erect a Schach roof, which gives us the confidence to be held together by nature’s unifying force, which turns our temporary dwelling, the Sukkah, into a sturdy, safe and secure structure.

In our organization, the Bnei Baruch Kabbalah Education & Research Institute, we learn the inner processes connected to festivals such as Sukkot. With the method of Kabbalah, any person can undergo these processes independently of calendar dates and times, discovering their true meaning together with the revelation of higher perceptions and sensations of reality. We invite anyone interested to get started with our introductory materials and courses.

The Beginning Of Serious Spiritual Work

laitman_942It is said by Kabbalists, “There is none else besides Him.” We must reveal this in order to attain in the connection with each other one single source—the one Creator.

To the extent that we connect, by being very different and very far away from each other, we begin to create a new quality, a sense of unity within ourselves, attained by a combination of opposites. Without destroying our egoistic desires (it is impossible to destroy them), without abolishing them, we try to create one single whole from everything within us.

Usually, before coming to a convention, we think that we will gather together and begin investing all our strengths in connection, in annulling ourselves. Yet, when we arrive at the place, it suddenly turns out that our thoughts and desires are not the same as before, and we already want something else.

This is the beginning of our serious work on ourselves. We begin to receive all kinds of disturbances, and it is these that should alert us to create a connection above them.

But we do not try to reveal disturbances, we are simply trying to connect, and as we do so, we reveal more and more disturbances. This gives us an opportunity to rise above them and create a single desire, a single system.

KabU Retreat In The Poconos

Dr. Michael LaitmanFrom My Facebook Page Michael Laitman 9/26/19

While I was giving live lessons from Italy to thousands of my students around the world, my students were holding a parallel conference to their new students.

The KabU retreat took place in the Poconos, Pennsylvania, and despite the forested holiday destination offering many activities, the students were focused on building internal connections between them.

Two events took place in parallel: The main event for 100 students, and the second event was for dozens of new lecturers in the wisdom of Kabbalah.

Whether a student or a new lecturer, the foundation is the same: practicing the method for human connection above the separating ego, through workshops, discussion circles, dining together, and learning from the sources.

18 Years After 9/11 : What Will Really Prevent The Next Disaster?

Dr. Michael LaitmanFrom My Facebook Page Michael Laitman 9/11/19

The signs of solidarity, mutual respect and social resilience that we saw after the horrible 9/11 attack in New York, have all disappeared. Today it is painfully clear that people unite only under great duress or trouble. It has been fifteen years since that tragedy, and against the backdrop of global terror, the United States is more frightened than ever of another national disaster. As a result, the government has declared September as a National Preparedness Month, where citizens, business owners and communities are encouraged to prepare for any unexpected crisis or emergency that the US might face. Yet alongside the defense strategies, the one thing that will bring lasting security and balance to our lives is unity. The connection between us has a tremendous power that can prevent any unexpected disaster, and most importantly, to guarantee our good life.
