Question: How did Abraham teach the tens of thousands of people who gathered around him if there was not yet a Pentateuch that set out the commandments?

Answer: At that time, people were at a level where they understood it from within themselves.

Comment: Abraham wrote several books of which only The Book of Creation (Sefer Yetzira) has reached us. I have read it many times, but it does not say anything about connection.

My Response: In The Book of Creation, Abraham wrote about the upper force that influences people. He wrote this book so that we could understand the upper force the way he described it.

To do this, we must have the appropriate tool. This tool is connection with other people in which the upper laws are revealed.

Question: However, it was not written anywhere specifically about connection. Was it obvious to them?

Answer: Yes. This is called the “Oral Torah,” which Abraham explained to his followers.

Question: Rambam wrote: “Abraham sowed this great principle in their hearts and wrote books about it.” However, these books describe what a person feels in connection with the Creator, with the upper force of nature. Does it mean that communication between people was passed by word of mouth?

Answer: This is a practical wisdom that Abraham passed on to his disciples Isaac and Jacob.

Question: Were they not his children?

Answer: You can call them “children,” it does not matter. However, Kabbalah refers to the disciples through whom the method of correcting human egoism was passed onto the entire nation, to the entire group of people who gathered around Abraham in Babylon.

All this is described in the Torah through one person. First what happened to Abraham, then to Lot, and so on. Where are the other tens of thousands of people that gathered around him?

The fact is that description does not take into account the number of people Rambam spoke about, but only their spiritual level. The spiritual level is already 70, 50, 10 people, and so on—it does not matter because in spirituality we do not count the number of heads, but the strength of their connection with each other.

Question: Do you think humanity is rising to a spiritual degree?

Answer: Yes, it is rising, but this ascent is modular because, in fact, humanity is descending. However, it descends on purpose in order to understand the emptiness of our world.

This is the revelation of truth, and it is thus an ascent. There is greater and greater revelation of the upper light. On one hand, we feel that we are more developed, and on the other hand, lower and emptier. However, this is a good place.

Now we are entering a new stage when the next generation comes to Kabbalah. These people do not want to conquer the world. They are satisfied with little things, they just need a computer and nothing else. It means a lot. A completely new human being has appeared in our world.

Why should I believe Kabbalists?

Comment: Many people can say: “Why should I believe the Kabbalists that the Creator is the quality of bestowal and love?”

My Response: You do not need to believe, you just need to advance society toward this, bring it closer, carefully, and gradually. Why talk about it? Although this won’t do harm, people will not escape. Today they are in such circumstances that there is not much time left for discussion.

Comment: Now, many scientists also say that everything is so subjective that you can neither prove nor deny the existence of the Creator, but you can just come up with many different theories. It’s hard to prove something, as our brain works so that we can accept any theory.

My Response: The Creator is the law of nature. And we must simply realize this law, as the entirety of nature in its integral complexity is called the Creator.

Question: And you are not trying to prove it?

Answer: No. You can’t prove anything to anyone. How can I prove to a young child the existence of something that goes beyond his perception? There is no way. The only thing I can do is to patiently raise him, elevating him to the level where he will see everything and tell himself. Otherwise, no.

Question: So, it is impossible to explain to a person that there are two laws—the law of receiving and the law of bestowal—and when we give to society, we become like the Creator?

Answer: Why not? This can be explained, and very easily. We can see on an inanimate, vegetative, and animal level how these laws are observed, how everything is built on a balance between receiving and bestowing.

However, at the level of society, we do not see this because in it, on the contrary, everything is built only on reception, and bestowal is possible only if I can get even more instead. That is, in society there is no bestowal at all. There is reception camouflaged as bestowal.

This means that the laws of inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature need to be elevated to the level of the state of society, to the human level, and there they must be realized and put into practice.

Therefore, we need to see how this is done, how it can be so that in society reception and bestowal, plus and minus, exist in us in the same way as at the previous three levels. Is it possible or not? This, in principle, is the whole problem and all our misfortunes. If we can do this, then we will have a perfect world.

Here I am not talking about religion, nor about the Creator, nor about anyone. It’s just what the world needs, and today we see it. Let’s try to implement it.

We Will Raise their Desires to the Creator with our Intention

Question: Is it possible to reveal the Creator with people who are not searching for the meaning of life?

Answer: No.

Question: So that means there should be a group of people with one common goal. What are the other 8 billion for?

Answer: Others will gradually feel that they have no meaning in life, that they need something, although perhaps it is not yet the attainment of the Creator. However, they will feel and discover all sorts of negative qualities, negative aspects of their lives, and in order to get rid of them, they will still have to gather in groups that are attaining the Creator. Not at this level, but at a lower one.

The meaning of life is the destiny of just a small group. The remaining 8 billion will be aspiring for the Creator for various reasons. For example, because they need to provide for their children, family, etc. They will not have a question about the meaning of existence.

Nevertheless, their aspirations for some materialistic goals will be enough because they will enter into our desires even with their egoistic desires, and we will be able to raise their desires to the Creator with our intention.

It is enough if they just know that there is a goal, and you need to gradually get used to it, adapt to it. This is enough to make this goal manifest in the masses even without raising their intentions to altruism. It is because we will give them our intentions, and they will give us their desires.

Throughout history the same forces act, resulting in same reactions. The new book: The Jewish Choice: Unity or Anti-Semitism shows that there are always causes and effects leading to the same turn of events.

This book must change our approach and teach us to see all the occurrences happening in this world in the light of Kabbalistic interpretation. The problem is that people do not understand what is happening to them. We study texts written 2,000 years ago without any knowledge of what has been happening during those 2,000 years and we draw incorrect conclusions.

The book The Jewish Choice: Unity or Anti-Semitism does not just recount the history of anti-Semitism. It, however, provides us with a foundation, reveals the cause of what is happening, and explains how we can change this process in its core.

The Jewish people are not the only ones who should receive this education and open their eyes to what is happening, the whole world needs to as well. The current events are caused by the same forces within the people of Israel and the whole of humanity within the common integral system. There is a single source pulling us toward the end of correction. If we are ready to move toward it, then we advance by means of “accelerated time,” by the light, and if not, then we advance by “in due time,” by the path of suffering.

The heroes that emerge on this path or the events that unfold are unimportant; what is important is that we can change the nature of this process, shifting it from the path of suffering to the path of light, which is good both in the eyes of the Creator and in the eyes of the person.

We exist within nature, which is a set of laws descending from a single source. This source consists of only one law, which we must learn thoroughly. We will then have no more issues with it just like with electricity or math: knowing the underlying law, one can derive thousands of applications from it.

All we have to do is learn the fundamental principles:
1. The world is an egoistic desire.
2. There was a group that rose above egoism and therefore received the name Israel (Yashar-Kel, straight to the Creator) because it wished to achieve the force of bestowal, the upper force.

This is the determining factor of the entire history of the people of Israel.

Anti-Semitism arises in other nations because they have never possessed the force of bestowal. But the people of Israel who once achieved the power of bestowal later fell from this level, and therefore they hate bestowal even more than the nations of the world. This determines the current state.

However, there is a small group, Bnei Baruch, that is trying to explain all of this to humanity. History is unfolding rapidly day after day. We must keep up with this process in order to understand what is happening to us in this scenario, the acting forces and the consequences they are causing, and we must deliver this message to the rest of humanity.

Our common salvation depends on it because the world is now in a very dangerous state: both the people of Israel and the nations of the world. Baal HaSulam warned us about the possibility of the third world war, and it was no exaggeration. We must realize that we have the opportunity to avoid a true catastrophe.

The entire universe is like concentric circles, starting with the innermost one in which there are people who have received an awakening toward adhesion with the Creator. They understand that it is necessary to connect with each other because only within the common desire, within our connection, can the Creator be revealed; therefore, everything is built on connection.

First, people with the “point in the heart” come to this connection, people yearning for the revelation of the upper force that manifests in the connection. Then there are many more outer circles, layers. Our group is in the very center; it has received a great gift from above: the desire to come closer to the Creator. It is our responsibility to carry out this action and to bring the other circles closer to Him.

The innermost circle must correct itself by annulling its egoism; the other circles do not need to change their nature. Everything depends on the innermost circle, on its feeling its obligation to fulfill its role, the desire given to it for the purpose of creation. Only it has received such a desire, not the others, and therefore, it is obliged to fulfill its mission.

We cannot make claims against other people, other circles, because each circle acts according to the desire awakened in it. So we are obliged to realize our inner desire to attain the Creator, as well as help the more external circles that do not have such a deficiency and link them with the purpose of the whole creation.

These two movements, one directed inwardly and the other one outwardly, are to be carried out at the two upcoming conventions: the convention in the desert and the big convention in Tel Aviv. These two actions depend on each other because our connection must be built with the aim of bringing all of humanity to connection with the Creator.

Therefore, work on internal connection is only a preparation, a result of which we then go out to connect with the entire world, with all people. We do not seek to infect them with our desire. We simply want to show to every circle in Israel and in the world how we act and to awaken them a little. Each circle will act according to the desire awakening in it.

It does not matter that this desire is aimed indirectly at adhesion with the Creator and to achieving equivalence of form with Him. Nevertheless, the Creator awakens crisis in the world, which is felt differently by each circle. Our task is to explain to all the circles how it is possible to rise above the general global crisis according to the special personal desire awakening in each circle.¹

Every person, to some extent, should belong to the general motion toward the Creator, and not only those who are studying the wisdom of Kabbalah according to their inner desire. It is enough that people who have no such inner desire will feel the crisis and realize that it is caused by the lack of connection between us and with the upper force. This awareness is already enough to include them in the overall process.

Each circle is obliged, to the extent of its desire, to participate in the connection of all humanity and its connection with the upper force. The task of each and every circle is to realize its natural desire in life and aim it to the connection with other circles and the upper force that controls everyone.

The inner circle performs this task in intention, the outer circle in action, each one according to its desire. Even those who protest and resist also participate in the overall process by doing so, performing certain work, without which it is impossible to achieve the goal. After all, by their resistance, they help to accurately determine the direction to the target.²

Question: For a long time there was a ban on disclosure of the wisdom of Kabbalah in the world. Baal HaSulam wrote that the first ban is unnecessary, the second, impossible, and the third is the secret of the Creator.

What does it mean that it was unnecessary?

Answer: Was there a need, for example, for creating a nuclear bomb? Yet, as you can see, it was revealed to the world. Although on one hand, Einstein did not want to, he nonetheless gave the formula because it became clear that scientists of Hitler’s Germany were successfully working on this issue. Then the formula was stolen, and from this started the development of the nuclear industry in the West and East.

Question: Does this mean that Kabbalah will bring no obvious benefit?

Answer: Kabbalah will bring no obvious benefit if it is placed in a person’s hands, like a nuclear bomb to a Neanderthal.

If a person is not yet ready for this, if one does not have a clear yearning for understanding the meaning of life, that is, one is not yet completely disappointed in this existence, then the disclosure of Kabbalah will begin pushing the person to mysticism, to the opportunity to earn money from it, etc. That is, Kabbalah should not be revealed to one who wants to receive some kind of privileges, some benefit in this world.

If a person already understands that he does not need this world at all, he is not attracted by wealth, knowledge, power, or honor, nothing at all, he only wants the upper world, only the connection with the Creator, then Kabbalah should be disclosed to him.

Therefore, it is necessary to be very careful. However, in our time this ban has already been lifted because people, in principle, are so disappointed in this world and are in a general depression that even if they wanted to use Kabbalah in some way, in the form of magic and other things, no one would take it seriously.

Question: Is there a certain stage in the development of humanity when the revelation of the Creator can harm a person?

Answer: Yes. When a person still has a desire for this world and at the same time becomes acquainted with the method of attaining the Creator, then he or she begins to think, “How can I attain the Creator in order to profit in this world?” This is wrong and will never bring any benefit. It is because the revelation of the Creator can be only in order to rise from this world to the upper world through our attainment. The body will remain, but the spirit of attainment will begin to break through to the next world.

Rabash, “What Is the Degree One Should Achieve in Order Not to Have to Reincarnate?”: The thing is that we have to know that all of the souls extend from the soul of Adam HaRishon. He is called Adam HaRishon, which means the first man. A man is called the collection of all egoistic qualities into a single altruistic one. After Adam sinned, that is, fell from the quality of bestowal and love into the quality of reception, his soul, his structure, his desire was divided.

There are no bodies, there are only desires. Therefore, his desire, which was one big common light, shattered into a large number of small desires, each of which contains a microdose of light. We have to connect these microdoses together by directing our desires to one big, common desire.

This is our work of correction. At that, it is not only in collecting the particles into which the light shattered, but also in connecting them into a big force. Therefore, our work is divided into a great number of parts of the broken Kli (vessel) of Adam and into the sequence in which we assemble this single common desire called “Adam.”

This work takes a lot of time because we cannot do it in one single effort. Therefore, we should understand that each of us requires an environment in order to advance.

In principle, in all cases in life, I can solve most of my problems only with the help of the environment. I am already beginning to understand the condition that the shattering of the Kli dictates me to constantly be with my own kind who are yearning for connection. Then we can influence each other, act, and help each other both physically and internally.

Our desires, the lights that fill us, although they are still minuscule, nevertheless, their microdoses influence each other and thus, we can support and help each other. Our advancement is in this.

This is why connection is of utmost importance. Trying all the time to see in others an example of what else I can do, what else I can learn from everyone, from anyone, in any way—from their longings and their actions for connection. This is considered as one person helping another.

When we gather, we can learn both virtually and physically, but nothing can replace such a big gathering as a convention because only in such massive gatherings can people influence each other.

They should help each other, demonstrate how much they yearn for connection. There is no need to demonstrate familiarity, hugs, slaps, and pats. We must try to convey to each other the yearning of our hearts. That is primary. Together we should try to convince the Creator that we are already worthy for Him to unite us.

Such a persistent request from each heart to other hearts and through their connection to the Creator is most important. We will then begin to feel that we really are in the great upper light.

This can only be achieved at large conventions. Of course, you can come to this in a group, and in small meetings, but when such a mass of people come, already familiar with each other, it is really a great force. There is nothing like it in the world. Moreover, the world is waiting, subconsciously, unconsciously, but it is waiting for us to bring light to it, to bring the upper force closer.

Baal HaSulam, The Nation, Therefore, it is a must for every nation to be strongly united within, so all the individuals within it are attached to one another by instinctive love. …

This does not mean that all the people in the nation, without exception, must be so. It means that the people of that nation, who sense that harmony, are the ones who make the nation, and the extent of happiness of the nation and sustainability are measured by their quality.

The force that supports the nation depends on the extent the nation is similar to the upper force, which is one, that is, able to unite. Such nation will be able to overcome all the difficulties because they are revealed as the breakage and shattering within it that require correction.

Therefore, on the path, we will have to encounter many problems in order to cover all the crimes with love by getting increasingly stronger and more united. Only in such a way is the perfection revealed.

Each time more and more sins are revealed, and it is necessary to build the reverse state above them, that is, love, without despair and without giving up. This is how the world is built, and in this way, it must come to correction.

The question is, how can European countries reach unity when they have such a large number of refugees? Yet, in fact, all these refugees only help European nations understand that connection must be above all the differences. It is necessary to see the wave of refugees as sent by the upper force and not as a destructive one. It is destruction, but for the purpose of correction.

Fifty years ago, it was impossible to imagine such a situation of refugees in Europe. Europeans very much protected themselves, cherished the individuality of each nation, the Germans, the French, the Italians. The borders between the nations were very clear and sharp.

Then suddenly everything began to change with great speed. According to the upper program, everyone must reveal the shattering they are in. How else is it possible to discover the need for correction if not by bringing the foreign forces inside? This is why several million people have entered Europe, people who are alien to it in their culture, education, religion, and behavior. There is no more flagrant contrast.

As a result, Europeans are slowly beginning to realize that there is no choice, the only thing they can do is to connect. They have yet to discover how this connection can be achieved. No matter how unreal it may seem because of religious differences, the most acute and irreconcilable, there is no other way.

Europeans understand that it is necessary to find the key to reaching unity and connection. And the key, first of all, is in the integral method of connection, which Kabbalah offers, in covering all crimes with love.

It is implemented with the help of the upper force. We cannot unite by ourselves; we only create conditions so that through us, through Israel, as through a connecting channel, the upper force will begin affecting all the masses of people.

This does not require their consent; they will suddenly begin to speak and behave differently. No matter that yesterday they were fundamentalists, no matter what religion they professed, how they thought, and to which of the seventy nations of the world they belonged. They all will become like one nation.

The main thing is that Europe is experiencing problems, and we must provide a solution. That is why it is so important to unite all Kabbalistic groups in Europe and around the world, especially now before the European Convention in Bulgaria. In this way, we can bring the light of connection and unity to Europe.

Europe is more and more gripped by darkness, a sense of helplessness, hopelessness, and absence of a way out. However, suddenly we will see how contradictions are softening, opinions, thoughts, and desires are changing. After all, everything is resolved in thought, and thoughts suddenly become new.

How is it possible that people who were such fundamentalists, nationalists, who did not even want to talk to anyone a little different from them, suddenly changed so much? Yet, the upper light can change everything. The way it now thickens the darkness, so it will correct it. The main thing for us is to become a conducting channel for it, this is our work.

Question: What is the significance of the science of Kabbalah for our generation?

Answer: The significance of the science of Kabbalah is not theoretical, but purely practical. When humanity comes to a state of hopelessness, not knowing how to move forward, what it exists for, and what guides it, then a need for the science of Kabbalah arises in it. Before that, it does not need it, especially since the science of Kabbalah does not offer itself to anyone. It is hiding inside humanity in a state of preparation because Kabbalists develop and prepare it for popularization, dissemination, and application.

Now we have come to a state when Kabbalah can be revealed to the world. But until our time, it was practically hidden.

Question: Baal HaSulam writes that Kabbalah reveals the Creator to every person in the world. Did people need this before?

Answer: No, and today they do not need it. After all, a person does not need truth, but needs what will give him some comfort, satisfaction, and answers to the minor issues in his life.

Question: But I don’t think that someone would refuse to reveal the Creator if he knew that it were possible to reveal Him.

Answer: No. Even of those who come today and listen about the possibility of the revelation of the Creator, the upper world, the next level of humanity’s development, only a few remain with us.

Question: Is it possible that people do not want the Creator that Kabbalah offers?

Answer: Perhaps.
