Answer: Of course! I am sure that here and there all sorts of excerpts will be taken from it and books compiled again, articles made from them, classes conducted, and lectures, seminars, and courses made according to this material.

After all, what we are going through today, everyone else will be going through in 10 to 20 years. For this reason, I emphasize this, all this is recorded and will be used later. Life will show.

It doesn’t frighten me, even if it would be erased and thrown away. The most important is to serve the world.

In principle, what I have done and said has already served the world; all this information has settled at the level of our world, materialized in it, and entered into matter. It is already working; it cannot be erased. I lowered it from a higher degree to an ordinary, earthly one.

Question: Why does spiritual information settle in our world after you get it out in the open?

Answer: I use the usual earthly mechanisms: desire and verbal communication in a circle with students. Therefore, at the level of our world, this information already exists. It is like being recorded, reduced to its level.

I remember that Rabash did exactly the same. It meant a lot to him just to get it out in the open. Sometimes he would say things that we, his students, did not understand at all. Question: Why were your first students Russian speakers?

Answer: I published several books in Russian first. So people came to me and literally forced me to study with them. Actually it was easier for me to read and write in Russian back then.

Besides, I did not see anyone needing it in Hebrew at the time. Thus, in the closed Russian circle I felt free and unrestricted. I was afraid to reveal myself in Hebrew. Who am I even if I am a student of a great Kabbalist? I still lacked confidence and it was not time yet.

It was 1991-1992 and I was giving talks on the radio in Russian at that time. Therefore Russian speakers came and said they wanted to study.

Question: Why did you feel the need to speak on the radio?

Answer: This need had developed in me long before. Kabbalah itself called for this and I felt a certain inner pressure. It is like childbirth when you give out what is in you, give birth, and have room for the next portion, for the next buildup and attainment of the material.

I accumulated the material, attained it, compiled it within myself and then poured it into the book. Through this I gave birth in a way. Then my inner capacity was vacant again, and it was possible to start thinking about the next topic, accumulate material, process, and study from the sources.

It was a huge incentive to develop, read, process, realize, and express everything on paper and get a reaction from people.

Question: What is the difference between getting a desire from the masses and the need that we should have during our studies? For example, before reading The Book of Zohar, you always say that now we need Hissaron, spiritual hunger, a common desire.

Answer: Of course! There can be nothing without a common desire! Only a common desire rises upward. Only through a common desire can you attract the light; otherwise, you do not correspond to it and there is no contact.

In order for there to be contact, all convex and concave parts in the contacting devices must be the same.

Therefore, if you act alone, there will be no contact. First, you have to collect the desires of the masses, which is called “a prayer of many.” And when you raise it up, you lift up this common desire to be filled. At the same time you are as if asking for them: “Give me for them!”

But first you have to get their desires from them, and here dissemination, connection with others, and contact with the outside world are necessary. Your studies will not be of any use if you do not pursue the goal of fulfilling someone.

And where is this goal to fulfill someone? Show it practically. Kabbalah is a very practical thing; otherwise, it would not have been revealed now! Otherwise, I would have been sitting quietly, writing my books quietly, and that is it.

How does it work?

Answer: Yes, the main thing is that it first happens in feelings and then the mind understands.

Why do I need to care about the mind at all? It only serves the feelings. First I see a picture, feel it, and then I start thinking about it. It is this way in everything in the world and in everything in our perception. The mind is only a servant of my feelings. It defines feelings, measures them, sorts, compares, analyzes, and gives me an opinion.

Therefore, if I need to change my opinion about my feelings, this is one job, and if I need to change my feelings with the help of the mind, this is a different job.

Question: But how does the physical dissemination of Kabbalistic knowledge take place?

Answer: Only from above. We give a condition for the light to spread even wider, to penetrate even deeper.

We are an educational organization and we only want people to know where they are from the point of view of the wisdom of Kabbalah.

They will gradually become convinced that we are really in a state from which there is only one way out—to rise above ourselves. Not by ourselves, but by attracting—according to the Kabbalistic method—a special upper force that will open our senses, our eyes, and lead us into an eternal perfect dimension in addition to this small, flawed animate world where we exist.

Question: How can you create an acute need, a hunger, for spirituality?

Answer: Only through systematic studies and dissemination.

Through studies with the group, you receive a greater desire for the goal, and through connections with friends the greatness of the goal and its importance.

Through systematic dissemination, you receive a feeling of external, informational, any kind of hunger, i.e., a lack, what people are missing and what they want.

Together this forms a condition in you where the upper light, a common field, influences you because you become similar to it. You become its conduit, its representative, because by studying in a group, you connect yourself with the field, and in dissemination, you connect yourself with the masses, and thus the upper light influences them through you.

Then, on one hand, you receive the feeling of greatness of the upper light, a spiritual state, and on the other hand, you feel the suffering of the masses, who are also drawn to this, but do not know where and why.

These two polarities in you expand to the limit where they really reach the full measure, called Seah in Kabbalah, and then the upper light begins to be revealed in you. It passes through you to others. It does not enter you, but passes through you. That is all! This is called that you work in bestowal.

You have nothing to bestow to the Creator, you just need to pass the light from Him to the others! This is your bestowal. You yourself should be in the middle, neutral. You do not need anything for yourself, you just do it in order to receive from the Creator and bestow it to others because He wants to bestow and wants it to be completed in this way. That is it! The simplest thing! Everyone is a conduit for everyone else!

Answer: Of course there is a difference because a person receives the most information through a video sequence with sound, music, and all the colors.

We can see where the development is going so that everything is as similar as possible to the picture of the world, which includes all our perceptions. Perhaps over time we will be able to transmit smells and tactile sensations, i.e., a complete picture of the world.

Let’s say, I am sitting in a room right now, a cool breeze is blowing from the sea. I feel myself, my body. If I did not have tactile sensations, I would not feel the body at all. The chair I am sitting in… I perceive everything around me: sounds, rustles, smells.

Vision, of course, allows us to perceive information and so on. This is what we must strive for in our mutual actions.
