Creation And Its Female Part

614The Book of Zohar,Chayei Sarah” [The Life of Sarah], Chapter 80: Why are all types of witchcraft and magic in women? It is because when the serpent came over Eve, he cast filth in her. He cast only in her and not in her husband, and the spells extend from the filth of the serpent. This is why witchcraft is in women.

In Kabbalah, women are a very important part of creation, even more important than the masculine part since everything comes from her. And the male part is just a link between the female part and the Creator.

The whole of creation is the female part. Therefore birth, stages of ascent, and all of the actions of creation are realized in a woman. And men are needed in the world only to provide for her, but life itself is in women.

And this is true. If men understood this and agreed, the world would be much better, straighter. Unfortunately, we are not that corrected yet.

From the spiritual point of view, the female part in creation is called desire and the male part is called intention. The Creator created the desire, and then the correct intention was created for it: for the sake of the Creator. But when this intention was corrupted by the so-called “sin,” it turned into its opposite. That is, the intention to give has been replaced by receiving for the sake of oneself without any love or compassion for others.

Why do we say that a woman is corrupted, that she has all the evil in her, that she has the venom of the serpent, and man does not? Because evil manifests itself in the female part. At the same time, I do not mean women at all. When I say “woman,” I associate it only with spiritual qualities. Therefore, you do not need to perceive my words at the level of our world.

So, Eve was not corrupted before the shifting of the egoistic property of “receiving” to Adam. Adam himself was corrupted, and because of this, the whole world, including Eve, was corrupted. She was the transferring link from the serpent to Adam. When Adam sinned, they both descended to the lowest level, to the state of permanent sin, and from this egoistic state they must come out.

The exit is mainly carried out through the efforts of Adam, the male part of creation, because it is engaged in correcting the intention and must change it from receiving to giving. And the female part is more passive. She accepts this intention and works with it. And we see this in practice in the male and female characters, in their approach to the world.

It Is Not Enough Just To Love Others

627.1Question: Scientists call oxytocin the love hormone. They believed that it is required mainly during childbirth. Then they realized that this is the main thing in the communication between mother and a child. Then they found that the basis of communication between lovers and friends is oxytocin.

Now scientists at the University of Toledo offer it as an anti-virus. They say that if the virus suppresses the immune system, then the love hormone, on the contrary, raises the immune system. This balance will give a person strength.

Basically, is your treatment based on injecting a person with the love hormone?

Answer: No, it is not about starting to love others. The point is that there is an inner reconstruction. Moreover, it must occur under pressure, at will, with the efforts of the person himself.

Question: As a result, are you against all these medical treatments?

Answer: No, I am not against them! Yes to the treatments! But not to cure a person of hatred. You cannot do it; you will suppress him. The Creator said: “I have created the evil inclination, but I have given the special, upper light against it, which you must apply gradually. You will feel and see how you make a human out of yourself.”

A person must go through all these very difficult states by himself. He must understand why the Creator made him this way.

A person must understand why he was created evil. He should slowly start by not removing this evil from himself, but covering it with good, with the help of the upper influence, the upper light, and getting closer to the Creator. He receives from the Creator the quality of bestowal and love that is opposite of the quality of a person—to receive and hate, which is the natural quality, i.e., the evil inclination in a person. Therefore, advance in such a way.

This is a serious job that a person must do by himself. This is what the Creator gave us to work with. We must create a human out of ourselves, to mold it ourselves.

Two Types Of Connection Between Teacher And Student

528.04Question: Hundreds of thousands of people have discovered the wisdom of Kabbalah. This became a revelation and great joy for them. But it turns out that it is not that simple. We need to find a teacher, not just find him, but establish a connection with him.

What does connection mean on the path with a guide, a teacher?

Answer: Today the teacher is not necessarily the one who is next to you. Once upon a time, there were places where students lived with their teachers. Now, this is not necessary since we can communicate very well through virtual connections.

Therefore, it is no longer necessary for the teacher and the student to be in direct contact with each other. But a connection with a teacher is needed in order to learn from him.

Question: How is this connection built? What is required from a student and possibly from a teacher?

Answer: The point is that there are different types of communication with the teacher. One of them is common, like at the university where you enter the classroom, sit down, attend lectures, then pass exams, and leave, practically without any contact with the teacher. You learn from your lecture notes, from what he gives you, but nothing more.

There is a clearer connection when the teacher directly influences the student, and he changes in accordance with this. Moreover, the teacher watches him, educates him individually, presenting him with rather serious requirements. But not everyone is ready to accept them.

Question: Does the willingness to accept these requirements depend on the person or on some preliminary factors?

Answer: Yes, there are preliminary factors, but they are not sufficient. In order to bring them to the state of being sufficient, the efforts of the student himself are needed.

The Four States Of An Egoistic Society

631.1Comment: The Torah examines four relationships between people. One of them: “What is mine is mine and what is yours is yours” is regarded as the worst and is called “Sodom.” And in our world it is considered normal.

My Response: No. This is an abnormal state because it cuts off all connections between people. I have no right either to give something to you or to receive something from you. So everyone in the society is absolutely isolated from each other. In addition, they even spy upon each other to comply with this condition.

Question: It is against unity, against the tendency of nature to bring us to one common whole?

Answer: This is completely against nature because nature is built on interconnection between atoms, particles, cells, and people at least in something, at least in some way. And here, everything is based on isolation.

The second state: “What is mine is yours, and what is yours is mine.” This is the essence of the nature of a primitive society where everything is common property: wives, children, dwellings, and animals. This state is characteristic of undeveloped egoism, in particular, of a primitive communal system.

The third state: “What is mine is yours, and what is yours is yours.” In the Torah, it is called Hesed.

This is a good but incomplete state in which I am practically locked on giving to another person and thinking about others.

This is good for small groups of people, for children, for weak societies, for the sick, and old people, when I give away and transfer everything to them. But this is a flawed state in which there is no flow of information and forces, no exchange. Everything goes in one direction, and nature is not built that way.

Nature is based on the fact that all of its parts are integrally locked in one common system, and  between them there is an exchange of energy, information, and vital forces to support the entire system together in its integral, correct interaction.

The fourth state: “What is mine is mine, and what is yours is mine” is called “criminal”—when I get from society more than I should.

Basically, all these four types of interaction between people exist in egoism. None is perfect. Kabbalah raises us above them.

A perfect state is when we are in complete interaction with each other, in inclusion in each other. This is not the case in any of the four states.

“The Cold Spell – Nature’s Cold Shoulder” (Linkedin)

My new article on Linkedin “The Cold Spell – Nature’s Cold Shoulder

The extreme cold spell that the US is currently experiencing is truly historic. But then, so is everything these days. The American society has never been so divided, at least not since The Civil War, gaps between the haves and the have-nots have never been so wide, the Covid pandemic has forced historic closures on America that have not been implemented at least since the Spanish flu, and the level of violence, substance abuse, food insufficiency, and depression are all skyrocketing. In light of all that’s happening, and keeping in mind the historic fires that burned for months throughout the West and Mid-West all summer and fall, the cold spell, as bitter as it is, seems more like a natural continuation of the trend of extremism overtaking the US than an unexpected disaster. From the human level to the inanimate nature, everything is breaking records of intensity, and it is to no one’s favor.

If America wants to survive, it must reverse course. Just as it indoctrinated its people to overconsume, enshrine self-indulgence, become fanatic over privacy, individuality, and entitlement, now it must do the opposite. Now it must teach its people how to see each other—with their hearts, not with their eyes. It must teach its people that they are all dependent on each other, and that their fate is sealed unless they all work shoulder to shoulder to pull the nation out of the swamp.

The math is straightforward, the more extreme the egoism, the more extreme the climate—both social and environmental. America has put egoism on a pedestal, called it “individualism,” and enshrined it in its constitution. No country has put itself more at odds with nature than the US, and turned this approach into its core ideology.

Since America has turned itself into a role model of individualism, of going against the mutuality in nature, the harmony in it, the coexistence, nature, in turn, has made America an example of the consequences of inconsideration with nature’s most basic law of harmony, achieved through mutuality and balance. What you give to nature is what you get in return. When you give nature a cold shoulder, it gives one right back.

The menace that is Covid-19 is just the harbinger; many other perils will follow in its wake, and they will be far worse than their “little brother.” The only way America can “dodge the bullets” is if it unites as one nation fighting for its life.

But nature isn’t punishing America; it is merely balancing the extreme egoism America imposed on it. If America reverses course, so will nature, and all the storms will calm. Nature speaks the language of balance and harmony. The more we are like it, the more we understand it, and the better it relates to us. If America stops fighting and starts reciprocating with it, it will discover that it doesn’t need to conquer nature in order to build a good life for its people; nature itself will do it for them.

“Have We Seen The Last Of Covid?” (Linkedin)

My new article on Linkedin “Have We Seen the Last of Covid?

The State of Israel is quickly approaching the fifty-percent mark of population that has received the second shot of the Covid vaccine. The country is reopening schools, gyms, movie theaters, malls, and hotels. Have we seen the last of Covid? I understand that people have been on edge and their patience has run out, but if I look at what experts are saying, I don’t see that they are so excited over what seems like rash behavior.

If we want to see the end of Covid, we have to focus on two things: 1) Let the health professionals hash out the solution among themselves, without interference from politicians and other interested bodies, and then follow their directives. 2) Unite our ranks, enhance our solidarity as a nation.

Children, for example, are not vaccinated. If we send them back to school, we know what will happen. The virus today is not what it was when it first appeared. It is affecting children, and even embryos, so how can we let children huddle up in cramped classrooms where they will certainly infect each other? And if they become sick, how will it affect their parents? How will it affect their siblings? Once again, decisions are made according to political interests and not according to medical considerations, and everyone is paying the price.

I understand that people want to have fun, but since when is this a factor in a government’s decisions? In the summer, people love going to the beach and swimming in the water. But if the water is contaminated, and dipping in the water puts people’s lives at risk, would people still go in the water? Would the authorities allow them to risk themselves and get in the water? In an orderly country, authorities have the authority to do what is right for the public; this is why they are called “authorities.”

Regrettably, the fact that politicians endorse policies that score them points in the public opinion because of the approaching election, regardless of the public’s safety, only proves that their interest is not our health, but the promotion of their own political careers. We should be more adamant in what we demand from our elected officials.

If we want to see the end of Covid, we have to focus on two things: 1) Let the health professionals hash out the solution among themselves, without interference from politicians and other interested bodies, and then follow their directives. 2) Unite our ranks, enhance our solidarity as a nation. We cannot erase our many differences, but we can, and must, elevate the value of unity above any personal opinion. These are the only tools we have to beat the virus. In fact, the latter tool will solve not only our Covid crisis, but all the crises we are facing now or will face in the future.

“Do You Fear Death? Why Or Why Not?” (Quora)

Dr. Michael LaitmanMichael Laitman, On Quora: Do you fear death? Why or why not?

The death of the animate body has no relevance to our true lives, which neither start nor end with its existence.

When we die, we merely start feeling ourselves in another state. We should thus not fear our deaths. It is much more beneficial if we think about how to continue our existence.

Death is also detached from the fear of death. The will to live is eternal and absolute. It is the will to connect with life’s source—the quality of love, bestowal and connection—and to exist in connection with it.

Our animate existence, which we currently know and feel as our lives, is a tiny state of existence that we are granted in order to attain the sensation of much greater, more expansive and eternal levels of existence.

Desires Israel And Yechudim

571.03Question: There are desires such as Israel and Yechudim within a person What is it?

Answer: “Yechudim” comes from the word “Yechud” (unity)—when we try to unite. Israel, Yashar-Kel (straight to the Creator)—when we are heading toward the goal.

These are different nuances depending on what we are doing at the moment. Each person has these properties, depending on how we highlight them at every second.

Israel comes out of Egypt because they are more and more united. When they unite, they become Yechudim. The stages of ascent determine the name of both the person and the action.

Question: Do all these characteristics appear in a person who begins to study Kabbalah?

Answer: Yes, absolutely in everyone. The fact is that as we are developing, then all the many properties and circumstances add up in us into one integral picture and this does not seem quantitatively. For example, now I am in a room where there are many objects, all different kinds of them, but I see them as one picture. I understand all this, I know, I am familiar with it.

Question: So do I need to know and understand all the details?

Answer: No, you will know and understand them. But it depends on what form, more or less, as far as the root of your soul needs to be connected with the source, with the Creator.

Question: Ninety percent of the people do not know how all the processes in the world take place. Is it not so in spirituality? Spiritually, should I know everything?

Answer: No. Just as in our world the main thing for me is to feel comfortable egoistically at every moment, so in the spiritual world, the main thing for me is to feel comfortable altruistically at every moment. That is, to produce the maximum return in those properties that appear every second.
