Since our world is built upon the will to enjoy, we can attain it only from the opposite world, by revealing phenomena in the will to bestow. We will then reveal what happens in this world. Thus, we can’t even attain our world without the upper one!

After being created, I can advance on my own through the environment. I need an environment because I can draw the “light that reforms” only to it. The light influences and changes me. I can change my state only in the group.

There are many phenomena in our world that we can’t reveal.
There’s a boundary to our possibilities of revealing the world.
Real revelation of our world happens by attaining the upper world, by projecting upper phenomena to our world, as a result.

I can’t feel, know or make decisions on my own—everything is determined by the upper light’s (bestowal) influence on my desires (to receive). I am the result of desire and light, and am therefore called creation. I am the way the light made me, and makes me at every moment.
On the earthly degree (ego, reason), I use the will to enjoy for my benefit (or so it seems to me!). If I use the desire to serve others/the Creator, that’s the spiritual degree. I build the upper world, and then, upon the difference between them, I reveal spiritual phenomena.
We start with individual work, but then we understand that it’s impossible to attain alone—we need the group. In unity, I build the next degree of bestowal. I check: how much am I able to think about them and about the Creator? From love of creatures to love of the Creator.

Question: What is a person’s “I” that is aware of his or her existence?
Answer: It’s just a little egoism. By changing it, we will feel not only the property of reception in it, but also the property of bestowal. In the egoism corrected to bestow, we begin to sense what really exists outside of us.
Now we feel and analyze only what enters into our senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch. If we had additional sense organs, we would feel much more, not as it enters and adapts in us, but as it exists outside of us, objectively. This is called spiritual perception.

Question: If one day goes by without the wisdom of Kabbalah, I feel miserable. Why does Kabbalah have an influence on me like a drug that provides happiness?
Answer: This is because otherwise you would not be connected to a system that can fulfill you.
Question: If the world is perfect, and I am intentionally faulty, then quarrels and confrontations are unavoidable. So how do I balance the good with the bad within me like “plus” and “minus”?
Answer: In any case you should not condemn the good or the bad or elevate this or that, rather only try to achieve their mutual connection, adhesion, and completion. Perfection is found between us, in the middle line.
Question: In our world, are people who are altruistic egoists happier than people who are just egoists?
Answer: Egoistic altruists are still less limited. But to be an altruist in our world, one must be born like this or enter a society like that where they “brainwash” you, and then you will be able to become an altruist and enjoy it. But this is already a particular kind of persuasion, and not a person’s inner inspiration.
Question: What does it mean to acquire the characteristic of bestowal? Explain it regarding feelings as much as possible.
Answer: Ask a mother who is concerned about her baby how she is happy to give him something, to do something for him. See how she takes care of him, follows him, and constantly wants to touch him, to improve something. This is the beastly characteristic of bestowal that shows us that it is possible on the physical level. It is partial and temporary, but it is possible.
Question: What are your wishes for students?
Answer: You have to rush to and resolve everything in the middle line: issues at home, topics in the group, and even in the kitchen, at work, in your attitude to life, and most importantly—the relations between us. Do everything in the middle line—there is no bad and there is no good—there is only everything for the benefit of spiritual progress.

Spiritual work is gradually receiving less and less in the will to enjoy. Imagine that you won’t receive or attain anything in your ego. Mentally equate yourself to zero. Let your soul merge with the Creator. Increase the will to bestow to Him, doing what the Creator wants.
We’re correcting the common soul of Adam, starting with creating the foundation. It’s hard work since we see excavations of our ego. Only by rising above it do we see our work. Others will finish the construction after us. But laying the foundation is the most important part!
Our generation is restoring the structure of the one common soul, Adam, in the state of the final correction. It’s the most important work ever done on earth. We have to make efforts and the Creator will finish for us. Let’s build a place for His revelation and delight Him.
I want all of my work’s results to be only in the Creator, and I won’t receive anything besides the energy to work, like a car being filled up with fuel, while all my work is for the Creator’s benefit—to such an extent that He won’t even find out about my existence.

A person who works correctly is always full of joy since he has the right connection with the Creator in every state. He is always being governed by the Creator and by being aware of this he already gives pleasure to the Creator, and is therefore happy.

Question: What principles will determine the success of realizing my point in the heart?
Answer: There is only one principle: through the group to the Creator. You can use all other Kabbalistic principles only to the extent that you will climb the spiritual steps. Then you will see how they can apply to you.
Question: According to the law the “general and particular are equal,” are all the Kabbalistic principles universal for all the levels of the worlds?
Answer: Yes, because the difference between the levels is only according to the intensity of and connection between the forces of bestowal and reception.
Question: What is work according to the wisdom of Kabbalah? Who is the employer, who is the employee, and what is the essence of the work?
Answer: Work in Kabbalah is the work on my egoism, on its correction. The Creator, the upper Light, is what corrects egoism. A person is called “a worker” because he asks for this correction from the Creator. Only according to a request, a prayer, raising MAN, does the Light, which corrects an egoistic intention to an altruistic intention, descend from above.
Question: What is the correct relationship with the environment?
Answer: By “environment,” we mean the group through which we attain connection with the Creator. The correct relationship with the environment is the same relationship that must exist between the person and the Creator.
Question: What does manipulation of the ego mean?
Answer: Manipulation of the ego does not mean manipulating the ego itself, but the intention above it. In other words, I use the ego only to the degree that I have an intention to use it for the sake of bestowal, for the creation of a connection.
