Question: How do you feel the upper energy, the upper Light that a person evokes on himself? Let’s say, it is very hard to feel radiation, but still we invented devices we can measure it with. Besides, its consequences over time affect a person.
Answer: Radiation is the physical action of charged particles: electrons, protons, neutrons, gamma rays, and so on. They can be measured because they can affect some substrate.
However, in Kabbalah a person can feel the effect of the upper Light from inner changes. He suddenly begins to love his friends, unite with them, and in their connection they reveal the quality of bestowal and love called the Creator.
At the same time, everything does not go the way it seems to us, as if instead of the quality of reception we obtain the quality of bestowal, and instead of hatred, love. It is a whole new world.

Answer: The wisdom of Kabbalah doesn’t deal with digging into the past. Instead, it engages with the future.
Question: I am studying the Hebrew language. They told us there that the names of the Creator are expressed in a distorted form out of humility toward Him. “Yod, Key, Vav, Key” instead of, “Yod, Hey, Vav, Hey”, “Shakai” instead of “Shaddai.” I don’t understand and don’t feel the kind of humility that is intended.
Answer: This is accepted. It gives more respect to the higher power.

Answer: The measure is only in transferring the upper Light through yourself to society.
Food, sex, and family are necessary desires that you must satisfy, otherwise you cannot exist. However, wealth, power, and knowledge are not physiological, but social desires.
Therefore, you can only develop them to the extent that, through them, you can be properly connected to the society, to your surroundings.

The attitude of the nations of the world is a projection of the internal state of the people of Israel. Even egoism of the nations of the world is caused by the fact that Israel is not corrected. If the people of Israel corrected themselves, then no evil would be left in the world. All the nations would be imbued with the good force of this correction, which would be enough for them.
However, as the people of Israel descend lower and lower, anti-Semitism rises. This is especially evident now, when the time has come to make corrections and we do not make them. Our desire to enjoy is already ripe for correction and has come out of concealment.
Egoism manifests itself as requiring correction, and instead, we drive it inwardly. We thus reveal hatred in the nations of the world. However, we created this hatred within ourselves, and we reveal it from the outside. There is no evil in the world. All evil emerges from us, and then we see it in front of us.
The whole world is a projection of my qualities. So how can I demand someone to become kind? I must correct myself so that kindness is inside me, then there will be nothing bad on the outside, only good.

Question: What is the annulment of the student before the teacher?
Answer: In order to receive from the teacher, you have to annul yourself before him. This is a necessary condition. What does it mean to annul, not like in ordinary life that has nothing to do with spirituality, but in what relates to your spiritual qualities?
You must annul them, become zero, “enter” into the teacher, and then you will be fully at his disposal and he will create your next spiritual state out of you.
When a mother breastfeeds her baby, he sucks milk, receiving his sustenance, thanks to which he lives. It is the same here—a disciple must receive his sustenance from the teacher and therefore he is obliged to annul himself, to open his mouth and receive.
Question: Do you remember the first time you had to annul yourself before Rabash? How was this expressed?
Answer: Perhaps it was much easier for me because I wanted very much to have a teacher who would tell me everything possible. Besides, Rabash spoke very little and I had to somehow understand, guess, and extract details.
But in principle, you search for how you can become inconspicuous next to him so that everything that is in him would be automatically transferred into you.
Question: Was it hard or desirable for you?
Answer: At first it was very desirable. I wanted nothing else, only to enter his “cave” and sit next to him.
Then it became more difficult because egoism was constantly growing in order to rise above it, to reach such a coarseness of egoistic desire to annul and in it receive everything the teacher wants to give. Therefore, egoism should grow constantly, and rejection becomes stronger and stronger.

Question: What can I do so I will not be waiting for blows (illnesses, problems at work, in the family, and so forth), but will carry out all of the corrections and changes through my conscious personal choice, which I must do for maximal correction at every moment?
I don’t want to go against the desire of the Creator; on the contrary, at every moment I want to do everything that depends on me so that I will resemble the Light and connect with the Creator, even though various forms of suffering fall upon me constantly. Does this mean that I am doing something wrong?
In the wisdom of Kabbalah it is said that the purpose of all suffering is to bring a person closer to correction and the Creator. What must I do independently to carry out all the required corrections?
Answer: Find a group and push it to unite because that is the way you awaken the Ohr Makif (Surrounding Light) for the sake of revealing the Creator… And listen to the lessons!
