It is the obstacles of egoism (#Pharaoh) in man’s effort to reveal the Creator (quality of bestowal, unity, love), being opposite to the Creator, that a person is forced to start asking for help from the Creator, and thus brings himself out of exile in egoism (Egypt). #Passover

The entire effect of spiritual efforts lies in their accumulation. Then the result emerges. But in the midst of the process of accumulation, one feels emptiness and despair, and does not feel the accumulation. Only once in a while does one sense some understanding of the process. What matters most is patience along the path and the friends’ support!

Work in egoism against egoism in striving toward the Creator. The result is a growing emptiness. Until the group decides that their work should be in faith above knowledge—in the quality of complete bestowal and unity. And then they appeal to the Creator for help, and He takes them out of the power of egoism.

To rise to the degree of faith above knowledge means not to deny or reduce knowledge, but, on the contrary, to gain the opportunity to explore the spiritual world as well, the manifestation of the second force of nature—the power of bestowal, the expression of the Creator. So in addition to earth sciences, the science of Kabbalah is added.

The Temple, the Creator’s house, is in the center of the group (ten). The path to it is through increasing unity of friends, each person’s increasing bestowal to the group. This is contrary to our nature, but the friends’ support and example gives each one the forces to enter spirituality, the Creator’s House.

At first the study shows a person how far he is from the upper world of bestowal, the Creator. The study creates a desire for bestowal in him, a desire to come out of egoism’s rule. The realization of exodus happens only by the light’s action.

The need for a lengthy exit from egoism (exile) is that if one receives a small fulfillment, he will be satisfied with it and won’t wish for more, since spiritual fulfillment is eternal. Hence one must receive the whole desire, and then portion by portion, correct and fill it.

Work in Egypt, in attempts to come out of egoism, when you plunge into it again and again, brings one to total despair. But if one is aware that precisely this work gives the Creator joy, then the slave begins to feel joy too. Thus egoism’s slave comes out of slavery to freedom.

Light is revealed in the Kli only to the degree of the Kli’s equivalence with the light, in their equal desires for one another.
This is attained through man’s war with the qualities of egoism-reception, which are opposite to light-bestowal, until he changes, under the light’s influence, to similarity to the light—the intention to bestow.

The force (size) of the desire for spirituality is measured by the frequency of entries and exists into the yearning to acquire the will to bestow, i.e., by the shortness of breaks between exit and entry into the aspiration to attain the quality of bestowal.

Before desires are corrected for bestowal, the light shines only to the degree of correction of one’s desires. After one has attained the quality of bestowal, the light influences him in full force, in its greatness and in the complete sensation.

If I see that the rising #Antisemitism in the U.S. is correcting the #Jews of America, that they begin to move from the #Democratic side to the #Republican side, then we truly have hope to get through all these states in a relatively positive manner.
#DemocraticParty #RepublicanParty #Trump

Exile is feeling yourself in egoism’s oppression, the impossibility of bestowing, loving others as yourself, feeling yourself in vile self-love and necessarily suffering from these sensations.

It is precisely when you feel that a new egoistic force surfaces that you have a chance to turn to the Creator with a request to correct this force, to change its usage to goodness and bestowal, believing that you thereby give the Creator joy.

To come to need the Creator’s help, you have to start fighting egoism on your own, and only after being convinced that you are incapable, will you involuntarily turn to the Creator with a genuine plea for help.
The Creator deliberately doesn’t allow people to conquer egoism so they will come to need Him.

#Passover—after realizing one’s egoism as evil, it’s the holiday of redemption from egoism’s slavery and then exodus to reception of #Torah—the force that corrects egoism, followed by correction of egoism, attainment of the general rule of the Torah “Love another as yourself,” full correction.

The holiday issue of the newspaper The Nation writes about:
– how to celebrate #Passover according to the science of Kabbalah
– the role #women played in the #exodus from Egypt
– the first order of business for the elected Prime-Minister of #Israel
– and much more…
See the Hebrew paper:

Only when a person despairs in his own forces and attempts to reveal the Creator does he turn to Him for help, with a genuine plea of a broken heart. Hence one must care about realizing the Creator’s greatness and his own weakness, this will accelerate the realization of one’s insignificance and the genuine request.

Two forces have been prepared to develop us to the mandatory upper state of equivalence with the Creator:
One is unconscious —slow yet unrelenting pressure that compels us to change from good to evil;
One is conscious—with our participation, the same development happens …
consciously, willingly, quickly.
The choice is ours.

Man has just one desire that is unlike those of animals—the aspiration to the Creator. Hence only by realizing this aspiration should a person see his actualization as a human being, for all his other actions come from his animate degree.

Egoism’s power (exile, Pharaoh), which is revealed in proper study, can be overcome only with a cry for help to the Creator. The Creator sends a “holy soul” for each request—a will to bestow, love, unite. These parts unite and are felt as ascent in bestowal.

Don’t say that proper study doesn’t help or lead you to the goal.
For it shows you how lazy and egoistic you are, how much your qualities separate you from the Creator, and that overall—you’re the worst one of all!
This creates the conditions for prayer in you—to ask the Creator for correction.

When one elevates the aspiration for bestowal, he enters exile and sees how far away he is from the quality of bestowal. A realization arises of the lack of desires to bestow, which the Creator then corrects and fills.

To acquire a Soul (Land of Israel), one must acquire its great desires in exile (Egypt) and then correct them—only then does one merit filling them with upper light, the Creator’s revelation.

Only after coming out of egoism, “for one’s sake,” Egypt, can a person study Torah, how to act in bestowal for the Creator’s sake. Since under egoism’s power, he works for Pharaoh, egoism, and cannot belong to the Creator.
Hence the main event in spiritual development is exit from egoism.

One must believe that all disturbances are from above, in order to make room for attempts to turn to the Creator with a request to replace the will to receive with the will to bestow.
Egoism, the Creator’s envoy, awakens us.
Only when one becomes convinced that redemption lies in acting for the Creator’s sake, does he turn to the Creator for the will to bestow.

The only way to move from the still to the vegetative level is through unity in the ten. Each one of us is still, but if we influence each other correctly, we can become a plant. Nine friends with the force of the Creator work on each person in the ten as if the Creator is working on us.

Our job is to want to leave the still level, reach the Master of the program, change His decision—force Him to manage us differently. The only way to change something in oneself is by turning to the Creator, forcing Him to change us, as it’s written: “My sons have defeated Me.”

The whole program of our behavior is embedded in us by the Creator, and we feel it as our nature. In order to feel it separately from ourselves, imposed on us, we must try to break free from it, act in the the opposite way— the way of bestowal and unity.
Then we feel the essence of our program—egoism.

Malchut of the world of infinity feels shame from fulfillment. It performs Tzimtzum Aleph and attains the desire to bestow to the Creator. It then returns to reception of pleasures prepared for it, but this time does so with the intention “for the Creator’s sake” and hence without shame, with pride.

Nothing disappears in the world, only the more important picture is replaced with a less important one. If the Creator becomes more important than self, one forgets to think about himself and annuls before the Creator, all worries about himself disappear, and he enters pure bestowal.

Only by feeling one’s emptiness does one aspire to be filled by the Creator’s greatness and gains the force to not think about reception and attainment, but only about the opportunity of wholeheartedly, unrequitedly bestowing to the Creator. And this fulfills him completely.

At first, a man thinks that the upper world is “somewhere out there,” above or beyond the death of the body. And only upon considering the attainment of reality, he realizes that “everything is in him”—and if he replaces his desire to “receive” with the desire to “give,” he will begin to feel the upper world.

When egoism re-emerges and distracts you from the Creator, remember that these disturbances are from the Creator in order to strengthen your connection with Him—and ask Him to replace egoism with bestowal.

The importance of spiritual work is precisely when one feels like a zero, when he sees that he annuls himself completely in everything, and egoism has no more power—then he enters spirituality. (Baal HaSulam. Shamati, 19)

A request, a prayer, is more important than an answer to it. Because in a request, a person needs the Creator, waits for His mercy, stays close to Him. Upon receiving the desired, one unwillingly moves away from the Creator. (Baal HaSulam. Shamati 19)

The Creator made creation with the desire to enjoy, opposite to the Creator. All still, vegetative and animal nature acts by virtue of instinct and cannot change anything. But man is given the opportunity to change his nature if he finds a way to turn to the Creator and ask for it.

The upper (spiritual) world exists and is felt not somewhere else, but is felt instead of our world, perceived in desires “for my sake”—in desires “not for my sake, for others’ sake.” We mustn’t be transported somewhere else, but must only change our attitude to ourselves, but to #others and the world

The whole difference between our world and the upper world is our relationships. If they’re egoistic, we feel our world, if they’re altruistic, we feel the upper world. Don’t wait for humanity to decide to change its relationships to bestowal.
Do it in the ten and reveal the upper world right now!

The best and surest way to correct yourself is to care about the friends’ correction.
Then you don’t think about yourself and don’t fall, but on the contrary, you draw the correcting light—which first passes through you to the friends, as it is written, “Each one who prays for the friends receives before them.”

The Creator’s aim is to delight the creatures, while man wishes to delight the Creator. He receives this force from the Creator and fights against the Creator. It’s because the Creator wishes to delight the creatures, while we, on the contrary, fight against the Creator, against the egoism He created. But this is exactly what makes the Creator happy.

The Creator rejoices at the request for closeness in similarity with Him, for disconnection from one’s ego— desire, to be in pure bestowal to Him.
The Creator says: My sons have defeated me: I created in them the desire to receive, and they strive to acquire from me the intention to BESTOW!

If a person organizes an environment through which he receives desires that are opposite to his nature, he can form a request to the Creator for the desire to bestow.
And the Creator will give the second nature, to use the desire to enjoy with the intention for the sake of bestowal. Thus a person becomes similar to the Creator.

Start controlling your thoughts and desires, until you realize that you are receiving them from the outside, from the Creator, because there is only the Creator beside man. Then separate yourself from thoughts and desires whenever possible.
Realize that there are periods when thoughts and desires control me at the will of the Creator.

—beyond my awareness, for I can realize it only later. Further efforts to try to hold on to the realization of the power of the Creator in me. Replace these efforts with a request, prayer, to the Creator, to not break away from Him, but to break away from the blind unconscious submission to Him, that is, from the #Pharaoh.

Restriction Tzimtzum Aleph means making myself seemingly neutral, receiving both forces, “reception and bestowal” from the Creator—and I wish to be between them, use both of them only for the Creator’s sake.
That is, the intention to use both of these forces for the Creator’s sake determines all my calculations and actions.

Human nature: does everything against the Creator’s direct desire, bestows, contrary to the nature of egoism, in which one was made by the Creator. Independent from others, from the environment. He feels the others and therefore can take care of them. Feels the past and the future.

#Zohar Vaera 205: And then the Creator will rise up against them and will sweep up the ends of the world and will drive the sons of Ishmael out of the land, and will crush all the forces above, and no forces will remain above against the eternal nation, #Israel, besides the one single force of #Israel.
#Zohar

Zohar Vaera 205: At this time one nation will awaken from the end of the world against sinful Rome and will fight a war with it for 3 months. And nations will gather there and fall captive to them. Until all the sons of Edom will assemble against it from all ends of the world.

#Zohar Vaera 481: And then an assembly of exiles will gather, the sons of #Ishmael—the right line, and Rome—the left line, with all the nations, will awaken and wage war against #Israel. But He who Sits in the heavens scoffs at them…

At this time the king Mashiach will awaken the whole world, will assemble many nations and the sons of #Israel will assemble in their places.
#quote

#Zohar Vaera 480: In the year 73, after the revelation of the Mashiach ben Yosef, the kings of the world will assemble in Rome, the Creator will send fire upon them and all will perish. Those who did not go to Rome will wage war once again.

#Zohar, Vaera 203: The sons of Ishmael will have to rule the holy land for a long time, when it will be empty. And they will delay the return of the sons of #Israel, until the right of the sons of #Ishmael reaches conclusion.

Inanimate nature: Dependent. Fully controlled by the Creator through the desire to enjoy. Working only for itself, it fulfills the Creator’s direct instructions, which is how He made it. It does not even realize that it is under full control of the Creator.

Vegetative nature: A little independent: bestowing a little, against the Creator’s direct desire. But everyone has one movement.
In spiritual development, there’re those who have power to resist egoism, to work in bestowal, but don’t yet have the power to resist the environment.

Animal nature: Everyone with his own nature, his own life, not dependent on the environment, feeling his own sensations, capable of bestowing against the Creator’s desire but unable to feel anything but himself, his own time, has no sense of others and thus cannot worry about them.

Worlds don’t exist relative to themselves. There’s only 4 phases of direct light emanating from the Creator, HaVaYaH. But as soon as the creature’s reaction appears to complete the Creator, the entire system of worlds immediately manifests in relation to the person attaining them.

#Zohar Vaera 204: And the sons of #Ishmael will have to incite great #wars in the world. And the sons of Edom will assemble against them and will fight a war with them: one in the sea, another on land, and one more near Jerusalem. And these will rule over those but the holy land will not be handed over to the sons of Edom.
#Zohar #quote #Israel

The land trembled beneath the maid who inherits the mistress—this is Agar, who gave birth to Ishmael, who brought misery upon #Israel, ruled over them, tormented and persecuted them. He rules over them to this day. There is no exile for Israel as harsh as Ishmael’s exile.
#Zohar, Shmot 289

The Creator’s goal is to delight the creatures by elevating them to His degree of eternity and perfection. Just as the Creator doesn’t think about Himself, so man shouldn’t think about himself at all.
This is the condition of the first restriction, Tzimtzum Aleph, the transition to faith above reason, LISHMA. After that he enters actions of bestowal.

In our time the crudest souls are descending into our world, which therefore couldn’t’ be corrected in previous generations. But they are the ones that complete the correction of the common soul of ADAM and elicit the complete upper light with their base desires.

#NATO was created as a collective defense from the attack of #Soviet #Russia. But today it turns out that the reason for the opposition lies in the character of the Russian people to conquer others, to grow through other #nations. Therefore, NATO continues to be necessary …

We perceive the world in equivalence of form.
We have capabilities of perceiving: sight, hearing, smell, touch, taste.
Their sum total produces the picture of the world. Yet there are more influences in the world, we just don’t have the qualities to feel them.
The science of Kabbalah (the science of reception) develops these qualities in us.

If humanity is to shift to spiritual sensations, it must:
-be developed (the end of sciences, arts, family…)
-discover lack of fulfillment in its activities
This end of earthly history is starting in our time.
The lack of earthly fulfillments will push us to search for spiritual fulfillments.

A feeling of slavery—when you want to break free of egoism but can’t. Thus the efforts can only be above oneself, without seeing the reward. The greater the effort, the more bitterness. Until the sum of the efforts will summon the help of the Creator and receive a taste for His slavery.

Our freedom lies only in the opportunity to change our attitude to reality, rather than changing reality itself.
Reality is created by the illumination of our ego—Reshimo.
With your attitude to this, you change reality, or how you feel it:
this world—evil, or the upper world—goodness.

It’s the intention that operates: the Creator changes the desire, and we must endow every desire with an intention, just as every item in a store gets a label and price sticker. The Creator pulls up new desires in me, and I stick the right intentions on them.

In spirituality, calculations happen to the full degree. Therefore, a person receives help to ascend only if he asks to completely annul himself before the Creator—the quality of bestowal, even though egoism does not agree to it, and asks to revoke this desire.

After the degree of Lo Lishma there are no calculations for oneself, but only thoughts and actions to annul yourself, because you feel the greatness of the Creator, everything is done only for the sake of the Creator, thoughts and desires for oneself do not even arise—level of Lishma, one is in bestowal for the sake of bestowal.

Requests for the intention “for the Creator’s sake” bring a feeling of insignificance. Although every effort to bestow is included in the “piggy bank,” a person sees only the things he must still correct and not those he has already corrected. However, rather than waiting for the descents, he can elicit them on his own, “awaken the dawn”—and correct them.

As a result of many descents and ascents, a true desire for adhesion with the Creator emerges. Thus the vessel of the soul forms and filling from the Creator manifests in it. Before that, it seems that one does not advance and rather distances.
Things were planned this way so the creature will aspire to unite with the Creator.

Precisely when new questions arise about the meaning of spiritual work, there is room for new efforts. Questions (Aviut) come in order to expand the efforts (Masach). Efforts are the creation of a vessel for revealing the light (faith above reason).
Hence new difficulties / heaviness is the Creator’s help from above!

Every time from a descent, beginning to rise one should understand that it is a revelation of the egoistic desires that have not yet been corrected, while an ascent is their correction. Therefore, do not condemn the falls, but correct them to new ascents, and so on until the final correction.

The Creator produces a spiritual conception in man by giving him passion for bestowal. But later one must add his own desire to bestow. Otherwise, the excitement given to him from above will disappear and he will return to the black dot when his spirituality—bestowal is felt as darkness.

To reach the first spiritual degree, Bina, when one is limited in everything but always remains in joy, to go with the eyes closed is only possible by asking the Creator. And not to tell the Creator how to help him, but only to ask to defeat egoism because he is the worst and lowest of all, therefore he is asking and hoping.

Rising from a descent, finding forces to joyfully aim at the Creator—ask the Creator not for Him to be revealed, not to feel the taste, but to receive the force to overcome egoism, to be able to make efforts in joy since your efforts are only for the Creator’s sake, while you yourself aren’t fulfilled, but are working with the taste of ash.

On the human level there can be no love and hate or war and peace at the same time. In the spiritual world, however, it is possible because war and peace are the products of the same force that allows them to exist together.

Our path is creating the connections between us. It is intertwined with contradictions that our logic cannot bridge together, how the two opposites can coexist and support each other.
Thus, work is above knowledge: I grab hold of two threads, but only tie them at the next degree.

The network of our interconnections is the vessel for revelation of the Creator due to the similarity of form between Him and the vessel, the network of our connections. We weave it together until the strength, form and qualities of our unity allow the Creator to be revealed in it.

A sign of correct work is joy for the sinners that are revealed. I am happy about the evil that is revealed since it is a result of my work and preparation. Hence I do not revoke it, but rise above it.
This is the difference between those working for the Creator and those not working for Him.

In the spiritual world we do not look at a person’s actions.
It’s as if he is behind a veil and we don’t care what he is doing there.
We only want to know what his intentions are, through this veil.
When we see everyone’s intentions, as if reflected on a screen—this is called seeing the upper world.

At every moment we are given a chance to advance, and everything depends on our sensitivity. If I am perceptive enough, then at every moment I will see an opportunity to move on to a new state. Thus I can make many corrections at every moment, revealing new qualities each time.

At every moment, one must be ready to renew one’s connection with the Creator. The yearning for the Creator I had a moment ago is insufficient.
Now I reveal a new state: emptiness of the soul in order to be filled for bestowal—a place of adhesion with the Creator, my world.
