The Creator shows man the extent to which he is incapable of going against nature, egoism. This continues until man realizes that he is completely helpless in the face of egoism. Yet the efforts he has invested do not allow him to leave the work.
All he can do then is turn to the Creator—and this request saves him!

Man sees that he doesn’t move forward toward the goal, but becomes worse and moves further away from it. This is the process of correction: it proceeds from an easier correction to an increasingly more difficult one. Hence hardening of the path is a sign of progress!

The prohibition not to worship and serve idols means the prohibition of making any actions “for myself,” the intention to fill my egoism. This is the main prohibition of real Judaism, Kabbalah. Idol worship is serving one’s egoism! It can be checked by the intention of any action!

What is an action (Maase)?
-It is written, “Make Me a Temple—and I will dwell in it”
Making a Temple is the action, Maase, that we must perform—together! This means gathering the broken soul of Adam by the action of “love the neighbor” so the Creator will then fill it in “love for Him.”

From above it is revealed how immersed man is in egoism and how far he is from the quality of bestowal. It even seems like he became more egoistic. In reality, however, greater truth was revealed to him and hence he sees his work as being more difficult.
But it’s the Creator who came closer—and hence man sees that he is still far from bestowal.

Our entire work must come down to acquiring the will to bestow and delighting the Creator. Everything else shouldn’t interest us.
How do we juxtapose the Creator’s desire to fulfill us, i.e., to receive from Him—with His demand for us to be in the will to bestow?

There are two obstacles to attaining the goal:
-decreased importance of the goal, the Creator
-deceased yearning for the Creator, Isra-El, the mission.

The nations will find out about this from the dissemination of the wisdom of Kabbalah in the whole world. Hence dissemination of Kabbalah is necessary.

There is a condition that all the nations of the world will come to know the Torah, “and the earth will be filled with knowledge of the Creator,” since Pharaoh found out about their mission and hence let them go.

If Egyptians didn’t pressure the people coming out of Egypt, the people would not have left since there was a raging sea ahead of them—and spears and arrows behind them. This forced the people to flee the exile—to part ways with egoism.
Hence it is written that Pharaoh brought them closer to the Creator.

The Creator made egoism so man would fight it, recognize his own inability, but not lose the desire to fill the Creator—and that means to ask the Creator for help and thus attain unity with the Creator.

The Creator evokes the hardening of the heart deliberately to elicit a request for help, a Kli, a need for the Creator’s help since one sees how helpless he is to help himself.
Precisely when man sees that he is unable to overcome the evil of egoism in him—this is the right time to turn to the Creator for help.

The Creator to Moses: Let’s go to Pharaoh—I have toughened his heart. See for yourself how great is the evil of his egoism—there is no way for you to defeat it, but ask Me—and you will gain new desires and thoughts, a Soul that I can fill.

The Creator reveals evil in a person and the Creator corrects this evil. But it’s important for man to reveal the evil in him on his own—to discover the impossibility of correcting it on his own, and then to beg the Creator to eradicate the evil in him, with the Creator’s help.

In love of friends one can always check oneself—whether he has love for them. Whereas love for the Creator is not subject to this kind of scrutiny—whether one has the intention of loving the Creator, bestowal to the Creator rather than one’s own benefit.

The purpose of life lies in adhesion, attained by equivalence to the Creator, which is attained by lack of thoughts about yourself—and then by good thoughts about others, how to fulfill them with everything they need. That’s how one attains adhesion with the Creator.

The feelings with which one turns to the Creator must be completely equivalent to one’s feelings for the friends. For they must be in complete bestowal—LISHMA. That means both types of love unite into one quality.

Adhesion with the Creator happens in 2 stages: exit from myself, self-love, egoism and entry into the Creator, bestowal, altruism. Hence this commandment is observed primarily between people. It’s the only way to gain qualities to come out of yourself and unite with another.

The condition “from love of friends to love of the Creator” speaks of our lack of love for anyone and anything outside of us, but only for ourselves. Hence we must gain exit from ourselves—and we were given the group for that. With this, we can already gain love for the Creator.

We cannot form love for the Creator in us other than by forming love for friends. Although it seems to us that we know what is love and what it is to love, yet when we exert in the group we reveal how unfamiliar and alien this quality is to us!

Man cannot attain love of the Creator before he attains love of friends.
Rabash, v. 1, Bo El Paro – 2

Goodness can be revealed in the world only in our desires of mutual bestowal. To correct egoism to bestowal, we were given Torah and Commandments. And we were given the general commandment of the whole Torah, “Love your neighbor as yourself”—we achieve it in love of friends.

The purpose of life is to attain equivalence to the Creator, which means to fill the creatures with goodness (Leitiv Le Nivraav). More precisely, to help them attain the opportunity to receive fulfillment from the Creator. This is possible when everyone assembles together—then they can bless the Creator for goodness.

The Creator’s greatness should allow me to only bestow everything. This is called living in faith, the quality of Bina. Then one’s body, i.e., spiritual body—thoughts and desires—feel the Creator’s greatness and are completely subjugated to Him.

What matters most is to acquire faith—the will to bestow. This must be the only goal and reward for everything one does.
And ask the Creator only for this.

After realizing our state as “for myself,” we build the state above us, beyond calculation for myself, annulling and sensing the greatness of the Host, forgetting myself, in LISHMA, everything for the Creator’s sake, all thoughts are in Him, and I seem to disappear—this is “bestowal for the sake of bestowal,” Bina.

One has to see the 49 gates of impurity that Isra-El were in upon leaving Egypt as great wealth for the sake of which they were in exile in egoism—Egypt. Only once they’ve collected all the ego-desires did they merit the light of the Creator, and rise above these ego-desires.

Isra-El are weak desires. To reveal the light of the Creator great desires are needed. Thus, Isra-El is forced to unite with egoism. But the ego-Egyptians take the light of the Creator from them, 7 years of plenty. Until the 49 gates of impurity at the time of exodus.
Then the Creator becomes revealed!

One’s exodus from egoism is like fleeing, because only those striving for the Creator, Isra-El, get liberated from egoism, while the other desires stay with him.
Liberated desires rise from Egypt toward bestowal, and later, through them, all other desires get corrected.

Opponents of spiritual development are called “Fearful of the Creator, Workers of Pharaoh.” They are against unity, against working for bestowal, but they are meticulous in their execution because they work for themselves and care only about acting for the sake of egoistic reward

Despite the fact that in order to liberate from the power of egoism the Creator comes through in full revelation and thus a person breaks free from the power of egoism, the person himself seeks to remain in full faith above knowledge, in complete bestowal to the Creator.

To escape the power of egoism it is necessary to reveal its full power over Israel-El, the striving of man toward the Creator. Then the liberation by the Creator will be a miracle! One must believe in the liberation from the power of egoism by the Creator and strive for it only for the sake of the Creator, “Li-Shma,” to please the Creator.

In the future ego-liberation of the world, we will be free from all the ego forces, Pharaoh’s enslaving the world, and the Creator will manifest Himself as the only power in the world throughout everything, before everyone.

Before leaving Egypt, a person is in the lowest ego state, in 49 gates of impurity. Once the Creator becomes revealed to him, the person realizes that there is no other force except the Creator, and this awareness of “There is none else besides Him” brings him out of ego-bondage.

There is nothing in the world that doesn’t serve as a means to attain the goal.
When I aspire to the goal, everything pushes me toward it. When I am distracted and pay attention to the disturbances instead of using them as a means to attain the goal, then instead of help they become disturbances.

There’s no need to analyze the disturbances—we can never understand them while we are on their degree. We must rise above them, thinking only about the spiritual goal and overcoming disturbances, the way water paves a path through a cliff.

All the disturbances are necessary—they direct us, helping us come out of egoism. At every step, we must learn how to turn toward the Creator. To make this adjustment, we constantly receive signals from our egoism and from the Creator—and according to them, we can adjust the direction toward the goal.

No matter how much man tries to relate to the Creator as good and just, he will reveal facts that are opposite to that—precisely so he will have no other possibility but to accept the Creator’s governance as good and just by faith above reason. No one will help me except myself…to beg the Creator to help me!

If I wish to clearly see the Creator’s good governance, it looks like a demand for proof of His goodness and lack of faith in His perfection. But I wish to show my faith in His absolute goodness and hence I need precisely the disturbances against the good Creator. To see the injustice and go above it.

The problem of adhering to the Creator’s governance lies in the fact that we go through “impure” thoughts and desires, which we cannot relate to the absolutely good Creator. Only those with spiritual endurance attain the state of uniting with the Absolute, above all the “impure” circumstances.

The Creator’s plan in creation is for man, the pinnacle of creation, to devote every moment of his existence to the Creator. In this yearning and expectation, the Creator is extremely envious! Our entire life at every moment is a chain of circumstances directing us toward Him.

Man’s entire mission in this life is, above all the transpiring circumstances, to attain constant yearning for adhesion with the Creator. He then reveals that all of the Creator’s actions are also aimed at creating circumstances for him to develop adhesion, till full equivalence.

Man cannot blatantly receive evil from the Creator, for it is a detriment to the greatness of the Creator. Therefore, in the measure of the sensation of evil, one can feel the absence of the Creator. Therefore, the efforts not to distance oneself from the Creator, although one senses evil, are rewarded. And if he weakens the efforts, punishment is in store for him.

I am happy when evil is revealed in me. And vice versa, I regret the evil that is still hidden in me. Since it is unknown when and if it will ever be revealed. The revealed evil must surely be corrected! Therefore, one must aspire to reveal all of his evil!

Zohar, Bereshit, 159: By the rear side one can judge the future face side of the spiritual state. The rear side frightens and thus pushes for a speedy revelation of the face side. So one can feel negligible and inept in a descent, but he must overcome it and strive for revelation!

People’s problems are your own—you only hear about them from others. You mingle with parts of your soul. You will never hear anything that isn’t about you. You perform actions in order to return them to their places in you. They seem external due to your improper perception.

Joseph’s brothers come to Egypt with the onset of famine in Canaan—further advancement is possible only by uniting. Likewise our world today is gradually realizing that salvation lies only in unity. They do not wish to enter Egypt since it obligates them to become one nation.

Small strikes of light create the sensation of reality in us—we feel the world around us and ourselves.
If the desire did not receive small “injections” of light, then it wouldn’t feel itself or the surrounding environment.
There’s nothing besides the will to enjoy which receives small strikes of light.

The beautiful cities, Pitom and Ramses, built for Pharaoh, do not benefit the nation of Israel, but on the contrary, they are fraught with danger (Sakana, from the word “poor” – “Misken“) of forever remaining in Egypt in the state of mutual rejection in a life devoid of meaning.
Then attempts toward salvation begin.

“How is this night different from other nights?” It’s because precisely on this night, the Creator revealed to me the special darkness of this night—and I was able to ask Him to come out of this darkness, egoism—and He answered me.
Otherwise, even when observing all the commandments, one won’t attain intentions for the sake of the Creator. This is why caring for others (Gmilut Hassadim) is so important!

What matters most is changing your intentions from “for yourself” to “for the Creator.”
This is possible through intentions about other’s benefit. Afterward one can think about the Creator the same way.

As soon as egoism saw that a person can come out of its subjugation and acquire the Creator’s quality of bestowal and love, it replaced his work from men’s to women’s—letting him know that there is no need to change the intention, what matters most is the action.
In it you can feel confident.

It is precisely in action without intention that one can feel confident. And make the observance increasingly more complex. The main thing is not to engage in intention—it is for special people!
If you start thinking about intentions, you will immediately feel that actions are unnecessary, and will feel lack of confidence in the intentions.

“One who speaks more about exit from slavery (egoism) is more important”—because he feels more enslaved and by that increases the upper light’s desire for correction and filling.
And he is able to thank the Creator more for exit from egoism since “One must always see oneself as coming out of Egypt.”

“Of the four sons, the one who cannot ask—open it for him!” The one who cannot ask is the one who has no desire. Open the desire for him—he will then ask the Creator and will merit a response.
We lack only the desire and request—a question.
Hence the Creator responds only to this son (desire) out of the four.

It is written, “Open for Me an entry the size of the tip of a needle, and I will open it for you big enough for chariots to enter.”
A person is not required to have a yearning for the Creator greater than the start—the Creator does the rest.

-What did the sons of Israel (small state) want over the course of all the years of exile in Egypt?
-To create unity between them, which they ultimately attained at Mount Sinai (hatred). Without these torments at each and every moment of standing at Mount Sinai, the “400 years of Egyptian exile” won’t be over for you.

When a blow comes, I feel how useful it is for me, since a powerful revelation of evil takes place. These blows pass over me as internal, spiritual disruptions. Yet they strengthen a person the way salt “preserves” meat. These blows bring on healing from egoism.

Pharaoh is the angel of death. Nothing can be done about him. Israel starts to realize that Pharaoh’s entire attitude comes from one source—the Creator, and it is precisely Pharaoh that brings a person closer to the Creator (“to bring closer” and “to make a sacrificial offering” is the same word—he helps us “from the opposite.”

Israel, bestowing for its own sake, uses the spiritual force to fulfill material desires. Egoism clearly does not want to lose them—they become its main means for receiving fulfillment, which has no substitute. Neither does Pharaoh wish to part with them.

The nation of Israel mingles with other nations and learns their occupations, attaining greater success since it knows how to use bestowal for the sake of reception.
The Creator’s force is necessary to pull the egoistic desire, which is so profitable for Pharaoh, out of Egypt.

The Creator must constantly grow in my eyes. Otherwise I will remain in slavery forever and will never be able to connect to the friends.
Egypt is separation. Where am I running? I want to unite above the separation and hatred—Mount Sinai—this is why I come out of Egypt.
This is called exodus.

Pharaoh’s mission is to elevate the Creator in my eyes, so I will be compelled to appreciate the general force of bestowal that rules in nature more and more. For only it will enable us to connect to one another.

If we don’t encounter changes on our path, it means that we are not asking for them. All spiritual advancement can happen only through revelation of the previously formed needs and requests.

What can we learn from the Pharaoh?
We can learn loyalty to the Creator from Pharaoh. He performs his task meticulously, faithfully, and selflessly. A true slave of the Creator like no other. Indeed it is a power made by the Creator, opposite to the Creator, without freewill…

Exit from Egypt, from the bondage of Egoism, can only happen when one feels himself under its full control, unable to reach the Creator, the quality of love and bestowal. And only in the measure of suffering from such bondage and full striving for the quality of bestowal and connection with others, can one merit an exit to freedom.

The power of egoism in man ends (exit from Egypt) when one is convinced that he cannot descend into egoism any further, and asks the Creator exclusively, solely for deliverance from the power of egoism, Pharaoh, only to acquire the quality of bestowal.

Before one overcomes his egoism, comes out of it, egoism awakens in him stronger and stronger each time, leaving no hope for salvation. Only faith in the help of the Creator Himself brings a long-awaited salvation from egoism, when one wants to be under the Creator’s full control

Before liberation from egoism, Israel was fully immersed in the 49 steps of pure egoism. And only then did the Creator reveal Himself and rescue them. Until the attainment of full egoism, its 49 levels, they thought that freedom from it was possible by the Creator’s forces rather than Himself.

If one wishes to act for the Creator’s sake, egoism doesn’t give him energy—and one sees himself immersed in egoism. But this sensation of one’s egoism and intentions not for one’s sake is the truth!
All we can do is turn to the Creator for help since He is the one that created both egoism and the intention “for one’s sake.”

The beginning of the realization of egoism lies in yearning for unity in the group, the realization that it is only through unity that I can reveal the Creator, the will to bestow—this is against my nature and I can only be aided by attempts to unite with others, revelation of egoism, separation—and a plea to the Creator.

Everything that happens to us before we feel immersed in egoism and exit from it, from Egypt—is only in order for us to feel that the Creator governs everything, to feel the sensation of His singularity—this is exodus from exile into truth.

At first a person feels that he is enslaved by egoism, Pharaoh, and is forcefully rejected from working for the Creator. To this extent he really is ruled by egoism. But as soon as he realizes that it’s the Creator who does this to him, “Since there is no other,” he is immediately conscious of his redemption!

When one yearns for the Creator, Israel, from within evil’s, Pharaoh’s, rule, the Creator liberates him from exile in egoism and gifts him with the quality of bestowal. This personal transformation is called “the miracle of exodus from Egypt.” One must believe that the Creator liberates everyone who wishes for it in this miraculous way.

All of our work is to reveal egoism in us. To see exit from egoism’s rule as reward and to make efforts only for the sake of the Creator’s desire based on the sensation of His greatness. Our entire reward lies in fulfilling His desire. Work = reward!

Exile into Egypt, Pharaoh’s rule, means that the awareness (Daat) that one must work for the sake of the Creator, bestowal – unity, is under egoism’s rule and every person works for himself.

The spiritual body of man consists of thoughts, desires, and actions. In order for these parts of the body to perform the right actions, which one requires them to do, it is necessary to attain the quality of faith (Emuna) or awe (Yirat Shamaim).

The Upper Partzuf, the Creator, works in a way that if you talk of ways to give to creatures, He instantly hears you. To hear means to take in a raised desire and bring it higher. Above, the light is clothed in your desire and this whole “package” is brought down to the creatures.

If we don’t encounter changes on our path, it means that we are not asking for them. All spiritual advancement can happen only through realization of the previously formed needs and requests.

People’s problems are your own, but you hear about them from others. You blend in with parts of your soul. You will never hear anything that does not apply to you. You perform actions to return them to their places inside you. They seem external because of your wrong perception.

New leaders are in demand: uncorrupted, with no links to previous #governments, not #politicians at all!
People want real changes. #Diplomacy is in the past. The masses want transparency and justice. But they do not realize that for this to happen they must change themselves …

One must feel that he is the worst one of all, for that is the truth.
(Rabash, “The Meaning of Above Reason”)
One who advances toward the truth cannot blame others; he blames himself while seeing others as being above him.
(Baal HaSulam, Shamati 62)
It is forbidden to see evil in others. One must see goodness in the world.

Everything happens for the creatures’ benefit. Growing egoism, Pharaoh, does not allow us to do anything for the Creator’s sake. One is compelled to ask the Creator for forces to bestow. Thus a person enters a war with the ego.
In response to his efforts to ask the Creator, he receives forces of bestowal, the Soul. Thus the Creator burdens one’s heart so one will wish for the Soul.

Man has no desire to bestow. For he exists in animate egoism. But the Creator gives the desire and the fulfillment. This happens in exile. There we receive egoism and desire to climb out of it. But only the Creator can liberate them. Hence they will have to ask Him.
That is how they will rise out of egoism.

If a person feels the need to please the Creator, he understands that the Creator’s only desire is for the creatures to receive pleasure from Him. He then asks the Creator to give him pleasure. For the Creator enjoys only when the creatures feel pleasure.

Growth of egoism and difficulties is to create a need to receive help in the form of upper light, to fight greater egoism. It turns out that precisely the realization of slavery in egoism elicits the need to acquire upper light.
Hence it is written that Pharaoh brings us closer to the Creator!

At first we are in egoism, Pharaoh’s rule, but we do not feel that we are enslaved. Then the Creator brings us closer to Him, and we feel our difference from Him, we feel that we are in egoism’s rule. For there must be realization of egoism’s evil, and then its correction.

Like the serpent who convinced Eve to switch the intention to give for intention to receive, so in Egypt—work in exile is in overcoming egoism, sweetly coaxing one: “do, but for yourself, not for the sake of bestowal, the Creator, above knowledge”—and then everything will be clear and easy for you!

Work in “Egypt” is called PAREH or PE-RAH – sweet mouth. Thus egoists persuade Israe-El, those who aspire to the Creator, that it’s possible to be only in actions of bestowal without intentions of bestowal.
Hence the work of Isra-El in intention is difficult, against egoism, and seems to be regression.

Egoism resists movement toward bestowal, leaving no energy for acts for the sake of bestowal. When man sees the extent to which he is immersed in egoism, evil, and he has no force to resist egoism, all he can do is cry out to the Creator.
In response to this cry, he receives the soul—the quality of bestowal.

The Egyptians persuaded them that the intention of bestowal is not necessary. Since efforts in egoism bring joy of the forthcoming reward. Due to this it is difficult to be in the intention “for the Creator’s sake,” with no reward. This brought problems to Isra-El, those who aspire to the Creator rather than to reward.

And they cried out from work in slavery, from work of attaining the quality of bestowal, since egoism (Egyptians and Pharaoh) awakened thoughts against bestowal, for reward. For them to work in egoism.
And it was difficult for them to object because that is how our entire world is built—the religious and the secular.

“Matsa” is from the words “Mar” and “Meriva,” quarrel. Man’s quarrel with the Creator. Man’s complaints to the Creator: why is it so difficult to attain the quality of bestowal?
Moreover: the more efforts he makes to attain the quality of bestowal, the further he moves away from it.
Hence he feels bitterness (Mar) in his efforts.

If it was easy for man to attain the quality of bestowal, he would not wish to advance further, feeling that he is in bestowal, in adhesion. But the Creator wishes to reveal the entire system of His relationship with us. Hence egoism can only be defeated with the Creator’s help.

The Egyptians, while developing egoism in man, did not allow him to perform acts of bestowal, leading to adhesion with the Creator. By that they demonstratively enslaved him, letting him feel exile in egoism, the impossibility of resisting the rule of the Egyptians, of coming out of slavery, exile.

Spiritual work (Avodat HaShem) is work, efforts, for the Creator’s sake. The result of this work is adhesion of the person performing this work with the Creator. In the process of bestowal, we receive the correcting light into the will to bestow, and then—the fulfilling light.

If no questions arise in a person about his intentions, for whose sake does he act, then he exists like everyone.
But if questions arise, “What for,” from his ego, by that egoism itself compels him to go against it—and thus brings on its own demise.
This is “help against oneself.”

To the question of the evil son (the quality of egoism in a person), he replies that he wishes to be in the quality of bestowal above calculations about himself—in faith above reason.
But thanks to your questions, I reveal the understanding that the Creator’s path is in faith (bestowal) above knowledge (egoistic calculation).

Moses is the quality of faith, bestowal, in man, OH. This is the quality of a leader, shepherd, the intention to bestow over all of man’s actions. This is the only quality we need to be in spirituality, in equivalence with the Creator.
The degree of Moses, faith, bestowal in man determines his degree.

The main part of the entire correction is exodus from egoism, Egypt, into the quality of bestowal. Other degrees are just advancements. On each degree we must awaken the joy of redemption from egoistic desires. To this extent we reveal joy and gratitude

Egoism cannot bear the suffering of being belittled, for it is founded on pride. Hence, when it sees that the friends in the group are more successful than it, this elicits forces of growth and ascent in it. This egoistic nature must be utilized intelligently!

Egoism is inherently proud and envious. It wishes not for its necessities, but for what it sees that others have. Hence it can develop infinitely. Everything depends only on the use of the qualities that the Creator has given us, precisely for His revelation.

The condition of redemption from egoism is that all the nations will know Kabbalah, “And the earth will be filled with knowledge of the Creator.” This was the condition for exodus from Egypt, when Pharaoh attained the Creator and permitted the exodus, He called Moses and ordered him to leave to work for the Creator.
(Torah, Shmot 12:31, Baal HaSulam, “The Messiah’s Horn”)
Since there must be realization of the necessity, and then attainment of the desired.

We must attain a state where we will discover that the ego itself drives us out of itself since it has realized that we are loyal to our goal. It calls Moses and Aaron at night and accompanies them out of Egypt. Hence there is an entire Torah portion, “Vaishlah” about this, that “The Pharaoh sent them.”
#Zohar for the People, Shmot 129

Two paths lead to the goal: a forced, long one or a short, preferred one with our participation. The choice is ours. The goal is achieved by a full request (in quality and quantity) for freedom from egoism. Therefore, the quality of connection in the group determines salvation.
All work in Egypt is in a group!

Freedom is possible only when one feels in slavery, exile. In inability to free oneself.
In crying for help in complete despair to free oneself.
Then the help of the Creator comes to him.
Check: what state are you in?

Egoism does not let you do anything without self-benefit and there is a feeling of exile from bestowal and suffering in the measure of desire to work for the Creator.
With increasing efforts, one starts screaming about salvation from egoism.
For liberation is against nature and thus only the Creator frees.

Malchut (point) is the 4th stage of the 4th stage of Direct Light, agrees with what is happening and wants to use the preceding qualities received from the Creator so that by analyzing all the states, even opposite to the Creator, to confirm that there is nothing better than being similar to Him.

A breakage means that every quality that the Creator relates to the creation (nine Sefirot – nine qualities) changes to its opposite in the creation, becomes negative, as if proceeding not from the Creator but from the opposite of the Creator.

A person must constantly explain to himself that there are no other changes beside the internal, there is no different world but only a new perception within himself, according to the new qualities he has acquired.

Slave labor is a constant opposition to the recurring thoughts against unity and bestowal, along with feelings of bitterness and death in egoism (Maror), thoughts aiming to keep a person in slavery to egoism, which must constantly be resisted. Until a prayer for freedom arises…
#Passover

When you cannot do anything alone, even beg the Creator for help, all you can do then is rely on the group’s help: you must annul yourself to the group completely, without all of your thoughts and feelings—and will receive a new spiritual state from the group!

If while on the path you feel completely indifferent to coming closer to the Creator and you cannot pull yourself out of this state of exile, as if you are in a state of being unaware of the Creator, not sensing the separation—all you can do is pray to feel the separation—this will bring you back to life…

To the extent of understanding that closeness with the Creator occurs in the measure of similarity to Him, bestowing to Him and taking nothing for oneself in order to please Him—one must acquire the quality of bestowal, faith in the greatness of the Creator, annulling oneself, and starting to realize the need for descents to appreciate the ascents.

The Creator’s concealment is necessary for the soul’s development. Sensations of pain, separation, confusion, concealment, grudges against the Creator—it is forbidden to take offense and curse the Creator for this.
One must believe, in spite of this, that these are sensations inside of egoism and are for our sake. Because the Creator could have eliminated negative thoughts and feelings…

The need for our development by faith above reason, bestowal, is for our desires to become unlimited and be able to attain adhesion with the Creator. In desires that are restricted by egoism, we cannot become even an embryo, included in the Creator, and we certainly cannot attain full adhesion – equivalence with the Creator.

The Tree of Knowledge is a demand to reveal the Creator in the ego, knowledge, rather than in bestowal – faith. But its fruits are forbidden. Yet if the Creator’s attainment happened in the open, in knowledge – egoism, everyone would be Kabbalists, carrying out the Creator’s desires.
But the problem lies in restricting attainments in knowledge…

A person is ready to go toward bestowal but sees that he involuntarily continues on the egoistic path. After reaching despair many times, he is ready to leave the path. He cannot go by faith – bestowal, above – against knowledge, in spite of the states.
But if he doesn’t leave the path, like a chained slave, the efforts accumulate and he comes out to freedom.

Law: in a state of ascent, when feeling the Creator’s greatness, we annul to Him without any reason, in complete agreement. But we cannot enjoy adhesion with Him and the fact that He brought us closer to Him.
Hence we need rejections, in order to appreciate the closeness, to find life and pleasure in them.

#Abraham: how does one attain the upper world, the quality of bestowal?
Creator: through exile into the world of egoism, opposite to it.
There one acquires the will to bestow to the Creator and asks for the Light that Reforms.
One takes egoistic desires from Egypt and receives altruistic intentions from the Creator.
#passover

Descents are given in order to appreciate ascents, but descents can be appreciated only when one is in ascent. They are given by the Creator in order to appreciate one from the other, the force of light from darkness.
Hence there is no redemption from egoism, Geula, without attaining bitterness of exile from it, Galut. The difference between them lies in the Creator’s revelation.
#passover2019

One who wishes to act by the Creator’s greatness, correcting himself to attain equivalence to the Creator, needs His increased greatness. The greatness is given by the Creator to bring the person closer, while the person himself can only act egoistically.
Hence annulling yourself is salvation from exile, and it is done by the Creator!

Going by reason means being in the sin of the Tree of Knowledge. This is revealed as difficulty of going against reason and the question of why should I even bestow to the Creator instead of myself?
#Rabash, Why Do We Ask the 4 Questions Precisely on #Passover Eve?

Concealment is necessary so we can receive from the Creator without shame. But it is only possible when receiving for the sake of the Creator, of bestowal.
Kabbalah (Torat Emet – the true Torah) is given so we can rise above egoism, which separates us from the Creator, and achieve similarity to Him, giving while receiving.

All the efforts to come out of #egoism: what for, why? For ourselves—are egoistic. For the Creator, so one must increase the importance of the Creator so that all the efforts would be for His sake—this is what takes us out of exile.

All the spiritual work is in the prayer (MAN). To do so, the effort (work) must be against the ego, free of its power. Realizing that one cannot leave the power of egoism through his own efforts, the desire to give to the Creator is born, the futility of it is realized, and the prayer is born.

All the suffering of exile in egoism (Egypt) was from the feeling of inability to leave the power of egoism (Pharaoh) to freedom, to be in the intention to do everything for the sake of the Creator. So, in exile, the true desire (Kli) was revealed—prayer for the Creator’s help.

It is in the ascent, the exit from slavery to egoism that one tastes the Maror (bitter greens), because especially in the ascent can one taste the bitterness—the taste of the fall.
After all, light comes out of darkness.
It turns out that bitterness is sweetened with an ascent. Light is enhanced by darkness—this is the correction of darkness.
#Passover

Until egoism has been fully revealed, it cannot be eradicated—it’s impossible to receive the force to eradicate it from above. Hence all efforts against egoism reveal it even more—until the entire force of egoism is revealed and the full desire to erase it—then the Creator destroys it!

With the manifestation of the intention “for the Creator’s sake,” egoism moves away. One discerns the extent to which it rules in man and how far man is from the Creator. This change seems like separation from the Creator, but it is growing closer since one starts to feel a need for the Creator’s help.

Until one tries to act with the intention “for the sake of bestowal,” he doesn’t reveal egoism’s resistance. But when one realizes the meaning of bestowal, “not for one’s own sake”, the expression of the desire to eradicate egoism, the intention “for one’s sake,” egoism’s total resistance is expressed to not allow itself to be eradicated.

In the beginning of exile we feel egoism’s rule, followed by the impossibility of coming out of it. We discern the meaning of bestowing “not for your own sake.” Although one wishes to act for the Creator’s sake, he sees that he cannot, but justifies his lack of intention, and does not feel very distant from the Creator. This is the beginning…

After revealing the entire evil in egoism, if one hasn’t run away from advancing toward the goal, one merits seeing that there is no Pharaoh or servants, but the Creator Himself revealed the egoism in him so he would see his entire egoism and his separation from the Creator.
Only then does the Creator bring him closer.

It is precisely for those who wish to come out of egoism that the Creator reveals egoism’s evil so they see themselves as more and more immersed in egoism, which contradicts common sense. But if they advance towards the truth—revelation of the entire evil in egoism—the Creator helps them, and they reveal that He has always heard them.

Egoism rules over man only to the extent that he thinks that it is egoism and not the Creator who rules over him. But as soon as he realizes that “There’s none else besides Him,” and from both sides, evil and good, he is ruled by the Creator—he feels it as the light of redemption from his ego-nature.

The easiest and clearest way to rise in the world is to demonstrate hatred for Israel. By that one stands out and rises above others, in opposition to bestowal, unity (work for the Creator), and aspiring only toward the use of egoism, for one’s own sake (work for #Pharaoh).

Those who exert for the sake of reward, in this world or the world to come, do not need the Creator since they have forces and can do everything alone, without the Creator, to the degree of their faith in the reward. And they do not feel that they are in exile (from the quality of bestowal, from the Creator).

The realization and sensation in exile (from the quality of bestowal) is that one is unable to bestow to (please) the Creator since one feels that he receives everything from Him. This is what he regrets—and it is the beginning of his connection to spirituality.

Precisely after all the attempts to come out of egoism on one’s own does a person sense that he is in exile inside the ego—and realize that only the upper force can pull him out of egoism. Only then does a prayer to the Creator for help from the bottom of the heart start to be created in him.

8 Tips for #Parents
We love you as you are,” “Look at the others and see how successful they are,”—What advice is right and what is harmful? Eight phrases we use, and the correct position of the wisdom of Kabbalah towards them.

Despite understanding that only the Creator can pull me out of egoism, it’s difficult to turn to Him with this request—there’s no faith and no example that He helps. Besides, I’ve asked the Creator for help many times and it didn’t help.
Yet it is precisely this disappointment that we must overcome —and ask!

Exile is the expulsion from the upper world, the feeling of separation from existing in unity and bestowal, when life outside of this is impossible. Suffering pushes towards any means of closeness in the group and mutual connection with the Creator. But evil also becomes stronger.
Until we decide to run!

If we are ready to fight our common ego, Pharaoh, an interference with unity, with the power of #connection, #Moshe, beyond all possibilities, we reveal help from above in the point of connection: “Let’s go to #Pharaoh and fight together.”
The Creator is offering us to unite and bring us out of the power of #egoism, Egypt.
#Passover

We raise bestowal, matzo, over the desire to enjoy, like bitterness (Maror), wishing to turn Maror into the sweetness of bestowal to the Creator, we come to Pesach, a counter consciousness: a new attitude to the desire to enjoy, from which we build the image of Man—a likeness of the Creator.
ADAM = EDAME, similar to the upper.

#Pesach is when a person constantly leaps (Pasah) from one opposite to another, bit by bit transforming his reception to bestowal. He does it with #Matsa—”the bread of poverty,” having no other nourishment and agreeing to be satisfied with what he receives by bestowing.

In the beginning of the path a person thinks that he can reach the goal by himself, that he can change on his own. Then he realizes that this is impossible. It can only be done by the upper force. Thus he is taught that he must bow his head and ask for help (like Rabbi Akiva).
That’s how one attains adhesion with the Creator.

The screen is like a valve that regulates how much will to enjoy I can attach to the intention of bestowal. It must be constantly regulated inside of oneself—in the relations between the will to enjoy and the will to bestow, and so on till the end of correction, constantly working with the screen.

#Passover is the start of realizing the Creator’s importance and greatness. Inasmuch as we increase the sensation of His greatness among us, that is how much we will advance. Everything follows from this.
If a person lives by the Creator’s greatness, he can fall and rise, but these are phases of his progress and he won’t veer away from them.

During Passover we don’t eat fruits or vegetables with a peel. Whatever can’t be peeled (such as tomatoes) is not consumed. Peel (Klipa) symbolizes egoism.
Cleansing ourselves of egoism requires us to peel egoism off of ourselves since it separates me from the group and through it, from the Creator.
Cleansing of egoism is the meaning of #Passover!

The Creator’s importance changes the value system: we see importance in rising above our will to enjoy. We begin to enjoy crushing our egoism for the sake of the spiritual (abstract) idea and goal, which is not yet clear in my desires, thoughts, values…

Spiritual work starts with the laws of Pesach—prohibitions of being in ego-desires. Exiting them, overcoming egoism—is exodus from Egypt.
After exodus and reception of #Torah, the light of correction, we work to correct ego-desires into qualities of bestowal, equivalence to the Creator.

Descents, increases in egoism, are included in ascents, greater connections, elevations: every ascent incorporates the preceding descent inside it.
“Killing the Egyptian” means destroying your attitude to descents. We start to perceive descents as a mandatory part of the ascent.

By its resistance, the “Egyptian,” our egoism, ensures ascent. Hence we leap over the state of “Egyptian” along the degrees of “Isra-El,” and the Egyptian provides the size of the ascent. #Pesach means leaping over the degrees of egoism (Egypt).

The will to enjoy, egoism, doesn’t disappear anywhere, and we must constantly be above it, rise. Hence we cannot be devoid of fear (Ira). Fear safeguards us from egoism’s complaints, since I demand protection from egoism, a covering over it, a shield—then I can enter the quality of bestowal.

A person receives permission to enter the Creator’s castle if he tries to think only about His benefit, no matter what happens. If he is in fear (awe) of being able to do this, then he is allowed to enter. The height of the fear determines the height of the degree of entry.

When we unite, we convey spiritual information to one another, forces of mutual work, which lifts everyone up. This is why unity is special. It allows each one to become like a great sage.
Kill the Egyptian—in you. Everything that Kabbalah describes is talking only about the qualities of the person.

Work with states like a rectifier (Wheatstone bridge—which straightens the electrical current) so the ascents and descents are perceived the same way—for bestowal. Thus we “straighten out” all the descents in all the states, and darkness will shine as light.
When descents are as ascents, everything transforms into one reality, the Creator’s authority.

But precisely these difficulties compel us to turn to the Creator and receive the light of correction—and rise above egoism into spirituality.
#Passover

Egypt is the manifestation, in the common egoism, of urges (sparks) for correction, Isra-el, which we correct.
Hence it is difficult to come out of the common egoism, Egypt.

What do I wish the people of #Israel this #Passover?
Connection. That’s all we need.

Those who seek the truth, with every effort toward the Creator (bestowal, unity, love), feel themselves opposite to these qualities, that in no way
do they possess them. And so until it becomes clear to them that only a prayer—a request to the Creator will change one’s nature.

#Pesach, from the word “Pa-sah” (transition, exit) – “to step over something.” We step over our egoism, rise above Pharaoh.
It is impossible to get along with it—this is our main ego-strength, one can only escape. At night, in the dark, when a small ray of light shows us the way.

Our mind depicts what is happening inside it, in the form of pictures of the world supposedly visible before us. But these are not external, earthly events, but our internal thoughts. In fact, we see ourselves on the inside.
Our qualities play out in the theater inside us, but we see it as if they are before us as the world.

Egyptians, our egoism, the credo to care only of ourselves, of eternal life. So today, having heard of bestowal and love of others, we repel this opportunity and do not even want to hear about it, because it is against common sense, egoistic reasoning.

Spiritual exile means to be completely under the power of #egoism, with no opportunity to break out of it to the property of bestowal, but only to remain in reception for self alone. Thus, a period of leaving this state is necessary
—#Pesach, separation from egoism and transition to the desire to bestow.

Exile in egoism is felt after attempts at unity in the group, like the sons of Jacob and their descent into Egypt. While exodus from Egypt happens through partial unity in the group, and complete unity after receiving the Torah.

The correction lies in rising above #evil.
Evil remains, it is necessary in order to build bestowal above it. To show that we aim toward bestowal, faith, not for the sake of victory over evil, but for the sake of adhering to the Creator through similar qualities.
#Passover #Kabbalah #EGO

Egoism provides a basis upon which we build bestowal. If there’s no egoism, bestowal falls and everything enters egoism. It thus grows bigger and rules over man.
But man must rise in bestowal higher yet.
Only after egoism’s complete growth does man receive the complete quality of bestowal, faith.

Man resists egoism, but falls into it again and again. From these actions, egoism is gradually filled till a specific level for every person, where everything that has been accumulated is given back to the person in the form of the force of bestowal, faith.
Hence egoism is called “the reverse helper.”

Correction lies in ascending above evil.
The evil remains, it’s necessary in order to build bestowal above it. To show that it is not for the sake of victory over evil that we are moving toward bestowal and faith, but rather for the sake of reaching adhesion with the Creator—through equivalence of form.

Until the utter feeling of exile in egoism, one cannot be worthy of breaking free, when the Creator Himself frees us.
It is like climbing a ladder: the left foot rises along with the left side (reception, ego), then the right (bestowal).
And so until the full manifestation of the force of the right side.

If we don’t wish for the quality of bestowal, we fall. This happens many times until we realize that we must attain the quality of bestowal (faith).
During the preparation for entering the spiritual world (the quality of bestowal), our work lies in negating any causes of our states besides the Creator. It is from them that the Creator is revealed.

Only in the process of fighting egoism do you attain that it is an evil ruler that you must first get away from, then get rid of, and then—above it, against it, acquire the will to bestow.
