Question: What are the Ten Commandments?

Answer: Once you get out of the Egyptian slavery, i.e., out of the power of egoism, you begin to take on other forms of connection between you and the Creator, between you and others. An action above one’s egoism is called a commandment.

Question: So, the structure of the ten Sefirot receives ten blows and after that I perform ten actions to connect with the Creator?

Answer: Let’s say so. Yes.

Comment: This is all very complex, not simple. In general, the world is, of course, a complicated system.

My Response: I don’t think so. We just do not want to convert it into sensations, then everything would become quite simple. The most important thing is not to leave it in your head, in some calculations, but to convert it into feelings.

Question: But what does “we do not want to” mean? Everyone would like to feel the Creator. It does not work.

Answer: You can feel it only if you want to rise above your egoism and act in spite of it. You will have to cultivate this movement within yourself perhaps over many years.

Question: Why does one still have a feeling that it is only him and the Creator? Why don’t we have a natural awareness that in order to reveal the upper force, there must be at least ten people? There is no such thing in society. On the contrary, if you want to reveal the Creator, you must seclude yourself, and in general, it seems to be something internal, concealed. What do any other people have to do with this? Why should I share the Creator with them?

Answer: You must do this in order not to deceive yourself, so that you clearly see whether you are approaching the quality of love and bestowal or not. If you can do this in relation to other people, then once you achieve this quality, you will relate to the Creator the same way.

The ten is a spiritual Kli. Due to the fact that everyone at least in some way nullifies himself before others striving to achieve a common, mutual inclusion, we bring our qualities into some similarity with the Creator. The Creator completely nullifies Himself and if we unite through mutual self-nullification, in this way we build a spiritual model, a form similar to the Creator.

To the extent of this similarity, we will begin to feel how a certain glow descends upon us, that a certain force from above is present between us. And then we will feel that we are coming closer to the Creator, and He is coming closer to us.

After such exercises, we will find that our connection under such conditions brings us closer and advances us to the Creator. Like a small child who is just learning to walk and takes his first hesitant steps, so are we already on the way to Him, and we take another and another step with one foot and then with the other.

We will feel that it is the Creator who is moving our legs like a mother who carefully moves the legs of her baby so that he knows how to walk. Thus, we will begin to distinguish the actions of the Creator over us, that it is He who moves our legs: right, left, and teaches us to move forward. We will feel that the Creator is within our actions. In every action we will want to reveal Him, and we will reveal Him precisely through this work.

I will understand that I do not walk on my own and do not embrace my friends myself, but the Creator does all this for me. And I, while trying to perform the same actions, begin to reveal Him and discover that it is He who moves my arms and legs and fills all the space between us.

Question: Is there any connection between the ten Egyptian plagues, the ten Sefirot and the Ten Commandments?

Answer: Yes. Everything is divided into tens.

Question: Why were there exactly ten plagues?

Answer: Because this is an absolutely complete impact, good or bad, of one on the other: the Creator on the creation, the creations on the Creator, and them among themselves.

Question: Are we talking about my desires that must receive ten portions of blows in order to get out of the egoistic intention?

Answer: Yes, at each of the degrees, in every desire, there must be a revelation of egoism. This is called the revelation of evil. Only then does a person come to the decision to rise above his ego.

In other words, my soul, my core desire, consists of ten Sefirot. And since they are all with an egoistic intention, each of them must receive a blow in order to get rid of the ego.

Question: The Creator is the force that created us, that affects each of us through the ten or even through all of humanity. Does it mean that there is no direct influence on an individual, although everyone feels it personally?

Answer: One person as such does not exist. He always has a connection with the Creator, and the Creator has a connection with him through the ten.

Even if something happens to us, it still goes through the entire system. The Creator has no connection and no relationship with each person at all, only through the system in which he exists.

It is like we consist of billions of cells, and there is no point in one cell.

Question: What does it mean to look at the world through the eyes of the ten?

Answer: To look at the world through the eyes of the ten means that I see in everything only the revelation of the Creator in relation to people who want to connect with each other in order to reach Him, to rise to Him, and to be connected with Him.

By acting in this way, we connect and arrange ourselves parallel to the Creator or against Him, and then we can feel His reflection within us, His attitude toward us. This is the revelation of the Creator to the created beings.

Together, all ten people, we tune into the Creator, to this wave, to this force, like pendulums that begin to swing in unison.

Question: Is it possible to explain this law of the Creator from the point of view of physics?

Answer: Of course. It is a common force that operates throughout the universe. By its gradual influence, first of all on us, on people, it wants to bring all creations—inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human—to one single image, that is, to connection with each other so that everyone complements everyone else.

Question: Is it possible to assume that proceeding from the law “the particular and the general are equal,” it is enough to unite into tens in order to reveal the upper force?

Answer: Yes, a ten is enough. Even two people are enough. When two people mutually desire to rise above their egoism, unite with each other in order to adhere to the Creator, and do everything clearly and correctly, although it is very difficult, they can achieve their goal.

If people unite in a ten, then it is much easier for them to unite with a hundred people, with a thousand, and so on. At the same time, the sensation of the revelation of the Creator also becomes much stronger.

Question: A person consists of billions of different molecules and atoms, but looking at him, I see a whole body. Is it the same with the Creator? Does he see ten as the smallest cell? Or does He see us separately?

Answer: The Creator sees everyone. But in order for us to interact with Him, we need to be like Him. We achieve similarity if at least two people unite with each other, i.e., when each annuls his egoism and connects with the other. However, it is easier and more correct to do it in the ten.

Comment: According to the Torah, every ten had to have a leader who influenced everyone with his wisdom. And so on up to the heads of the tribe. But then this structure ceased to exist.

My Response: No, it is not that it ceased to exist. It was decided to continue this state until complete correction, but then everything was drowned in common egoism.

Previously, there were tens, thousands, and tens of thousands of people who were interconnected and created a spiritual field between them that helped them to be in the quality of mutual bestowal.

If a massive number of people think about the same thing and aim for the same goal, then everybody inevitably aims for this goal.

Question: Do you think that in the future, humanity will be divided into tens and hundreds in the same way?

Answer: I am sure that people will want not to be divided, but rather to unite.

Question: The concept of the ten comes from the structure of the ten Sefirot. And where did 50 and 100 come from?

Question: How can we express mutual guarantee for each other right now?

Answer: With our thoughts, feelings, and longings of the heart.

Question: If I constantly miss the meeting of the ten due to many circumstances, but I think about them, is it called that I am in mutual guarantee with them?

Answer: I do not think so. I do not know all your problems, but this is not a simple matter. To miss meetings with friends is an extreme case.

Question: What should I do if I feel mutual guarantee with only one person in the ten and I do not see any possibility for it to be in the entire ten yet?

Answer: I think that you should still make sure that the connection in the ten is common and as heartfelt as possible. This is the responsibility of the entire ten. You should stop looking at each other the way you used to before, and start a new life, a new connection.

Question: Is there a way to find out if I am annulling myself correctly before the friends?

Answer: If you annul yourself correctly before your friends, then you will feel their influence on you. You will feel that they are inside you. We must aim for this.

Question: If I cannot ask for myself, then what should be the attitude to the request to pull myself up to advanced friends?

Answer: Through them. Only if you ask for them, you pull yourself up to them. And if you ask for yourself, you go down. These are the inverse laws of spiritual and corporeal states.

Question: How can we strengthen the mutual guarantee in a small ten if we are hardly meeting twice a day?

Answer: We must constantly think about how we can express mutual support to each other during, say, half an hour when we get together. It is not just mutual support.

Arvut (mutual guarantee) means that we, as it were, replace the person himself and guarantee for him, as in a bank, when we sign a document of guarantee that we undertake to pay for him.

The same is true in spirituality. I pay for my friend with my efforts. I am ready to give everything to him so that from what I give him, he could receive spiritual fulfillment. So it is with each of us.

No one receives anything spiritual in his own desire! Never! Only when it is canceled before the group, and the group gives him its guarantee, that is, its signature, its Kli (vessel), then in this Kli he can receive a spiritual sensation.

Only this way! Otherwise, how can a person have the opportunity to receive something spiritual that consists of many opposite properties?

Only when he renounces himself, when he is ready to give everything to his friend, and the friend to him, then in this mutual exchange of guarantees, they create the necessary conditions for the revelation of the Creator in each other. This is the only way that it works. All of humanity, absolutely all the people, will have to come to this.
