Ten—An Extensive System

595.05Question: The concept of the ten comes from the structure of the ten Sefirot. And where did 50 and 100 come from?

Answer: The fact is that you continue to count by tens, and you reach five tens, up to a hundred tens, and so on.

Question: But why not 60, not 70?

Answer: All these actions, on the one hand, are multiples of ten, and on the other hand, are multiples of five: Keter, Hochma, Bina, Zeir Anpin, and Malchut.

In principle, the minimum number of people who must be in connection with each other in order to be in mutual guarantee, in the quality of bestowal, and become like the Creator, should be five. But if there are ten, then, of course, this is already a more extensive system.
