The Emergence of New Strength

938.04Question: You said to clarify what strength we reveal from our connection in the ten. How should we analyze this correctly?

Answer: In our attempts to connect we must try to see how those strengths and opportunities we lack are born from our unity.

In this way, we will understand what we can develop within ourselves. We must look for new states we have not felt before, i.e., new strength, new connections, and new opportunities.

In the habitual rhythm of our actions, we must see this new strength each time, how it is born each time we get closer to each other, and how a new opportunity emerges in the connection with each other.

Toward Final Correction

944Question: What is final correction?

Answer: Final correction is the attainment of being together with all souls in one common soul called Adam, from the word “Domeh,” “like the Creator.” We are like Him, and therefore He fills us.

We are like the Kli, and the Creator is like the light. That is the state when we are united together, and the Creator is in us. This condition is called Gmar Tikkun—final correction. We must achieve it.

It is attained in a ten by both men and women. There is no need to look for anything when everything is in one direction. You will see how many different states you will go through; it is simply incomprehensible to the mind, although it is only about desire and fulfillment. Filling affects desire, and desire reacts to filling. There is nothing else!

Look at what is happening in our world: millions of colors, sounds, billions of people, and a variety of inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature. And all this comes from only two parameters: the desire to receive and the desire to fill, to give pleasure.

Therefore, there is no need to look for anything else. You will see that this gives you a lot of sensations along the way! You will be amazed at how many states we can gather from all this.

The “Common Binoculars” of the Ten

947This is similar to ten people standing and looking at an airplane flying from afar. To the onlookers, the plane seems like a tiny dot. But some of the people have binoculars that magnify the plane several times in size. However, each of them has a different set of binoculars—one has binoculars that magnify significantly, and for another, it magnifies less.

It follows that one sees the plane as four meters long, another says it is three, and yet another says it is only two meters long. They are all reporting what they are actually seeing, but still there are differences between them. Yet, the differences make no change in the plane itself, for all the changes are only in the eyes of the perceivers (Rabash, Letter No. 19).

Question: How can we discern the forms of spiritual connection between us through the “common binoculars” of the ten?

Answer: Because we are oriented in different directions, we cannot consider the common binoculars of the ten.  In order to obtain “common binoculars,” we must combine our visions and hearts toward one goal. And then we will see the Creator.

Question: Rabash writes that names (Partzufim) appear only in relation to the person who attains. How can we see something spiritual together since this is a personal experience?

Answer: It will come.

Question: Is it right for us to discuss at least something elementary? For example, how do we feel the importance of the goal in the ten or the level of connection?

Answer: Sure, discuss it.

Turn Your Heart to the Creator!

237Question: I feel that I cannot cope with my ego! Should I tell my friends about it or keep it to myself?

Answer: That you cannot cope is clear. But don’t look to discuss these issues with your friends as they have their problems. Instead, seek connection with the Creator.

Be wholeheartedly connected with your friends and at the same time turn your heart toward the Creator.

There is no need to involve your friends because you are in one state and each of them is in a different one. The most important thing is to seek connection with the Creator, and based on your connection with the group.

Question: So should I pretend that I am in a good mood?

Answer: Of course, always keep your friends in good spirits. Especially when you are in a low state.

The Ten Is a Device that Captures the Spiritual Field

527Question: You said that the ten is a device that can captures the spiritual field. How can we feel that we have become this device?

Answer: Just as a compass captures the magnetic field, so do we. By gathering together, we create an instrument for perceiving this field, and it orients us, moves us, and nurtures us.

As the compass needle starts to turn in the magnetic field, we work in the ten until we begin to feel the spiritual field between us, which shapes us and moves us forward.

This is an inner sensation for each person to the extent that one annuls oneself before the ten.

Approaching the Face of the Shechina

528.03Question: What does it mean that the ten should measure the result of their work in the Kli of bestowal?

Answer: The extent to which the ten progresses in the Kli of bestowal is the extent to which it measures its advancement in spirituality.

A sign of real bestowal in the ten is the revelation of the Creator within it.

Question: How can we determine our collective readiness to meet the face of Shechina?

Answer: The tighter you all feel together in the ten as one person with one heart, the closer you are to the face of Shechina.

The Essence of Connection

938.05Question: What does it mean that the ten reveals the face of Shechina? Is it some kind of sensation between the friends?

Answer: Yes, if there is no common sensation, how can the Creator be felt? A single person cannot feel the Creator. One must be connected with others, bestow, receive, and form a complete feeling, a complete Kli, together with them.

Question: How is this complete Kli different from the usual connection between friends in the ten?

Answer: It differs in the essence of connection when the friends connect to reveal the Creator, not for themselves, but for the entire world. That is the direction they act in.

Question: Suppose we, at our gathering, try to build the intention to reveal the Creator for the sake of the entire world. What should happen in our connection for the face of the Shechina to manifest there?

Answer: You should feel that you are gradually getting closer to the state where the Shechina reveals within you. When this happens, the ten will feel the manifestation of the Creator.

We Cannot Do Without a Friend

237Question: Kabbalists often say, “Let us think about our friends” or something similar. Does the concentration of thought change some material things in our lives?

Answer: Thought is the most important thing we have, even though our thoughts are not pure because in reality everyone thinks about themselves and not about others.

Although we think about others only when we want them to make us feel better, I could not even think about anything else because I am an absolute egoist, and this is my nature. Still, in this inner movement, in this impulse, there exists some small element of a different, unique attitude toward a friend in which I somehow realize inside myself that I cannot do without him.

I might not want this, but the Creator arranged everything this way. What can I do? I have to love him involuntarily, without knowing what loving means. Nevertheless, something like this should happen in the future. They say it is necessary.

In other words, there are many such artificial movements, but since they are in the general mechanism, they bring the light of correction upon us. I ask for my correction despite not wanting to change. It works like a child who does not know what he wants. Nevertheless, it works.

Develop Deficiency for Connection

938.03Question: How can we increase our connection if it lasts, say, only two hours according to the given measure of deficiency (Hisaron)?

Answer: You should reveal your common Hisaron (deficiency) in the ten and develop it. Then you will have an unlimited opportunity to remain connected.

Question: How should the connection with friends be expressed in feelings and in the mind?

Answer: Ask the Creator to help you unite, and in this unity, you will find even greater connection with your friends.

938.01Question: What quality of connection should be in the ten in each state so that it corresponds to the revelation of the Creator?

Answer: The most important and correct thing is to unite everyone with everyone and all together.

Question: How do you learn to connect your thoughts and desires with the ten in a strong bond so that there is only one goal: to bring contentment to the Creator?

Answer: To do this, you must get out of yourself, incorporate yourself into your friends, and strive toward the Creator.

That is when all your efforts will lead you to a common goal and common unity.
