An Educator Valuable to the Whole World

256Question: Will the system work effectively when we decide to take a targeted common action in relation to, say, the Internet or something else? If everyone does it correctly, how effective can it be?

Answer: Our global system of uniting various groups into one group and disseminating the Kabbalistic methodology for the correction of humanity, both individually and collectively, consists of two main directions. The first is our internal work where we unite among us. The second is bringing our strength of unity, information about Kabbalah, and the methodology of connection to the world.

Sometimes it seems that much of this work is useless both for the world and even for us. In reality, we are constantly engaged, working, studying materials, and adapting them for the end user, which helps us better understand and connect with them.

In the process, we are nurturing ourselves. A tremendous amount of time and resources have been invested so that someone who initially knows and understands nothing gradually develops into what we call today an educator—someone who can engage with the world, speak, explain, and demonstrate. Such a person knows the sources and is seen as a valuable asset, a gem, to the world. This refers to our students.

Thus, our work, no matter what we do, includes seemingly unnecessary actions, those of secondary importance, where we simply labor and invest ourselves. Yet this work becomes part of the overall system and does not disappear even if its results are not immediately apparent.

Nonetheless, in my eyes, this has immense value. As a result, I have already raised thousands of people worldwide who appreciate, understand, and know the wisdom of Kabbalah. But the most important aspect is not just these individuals themselves, but the fact that they have already contributed to the collective system.

This is an eternal, perfect system that does not perish with a person. What you contribute to it remains forever. It becomes part of it and is combined with the efforts of all generations and brings humanity closer to the final correction.

Don’t Let Yourself Be Crucified

624.07Do not meet people with open arms. Why make it easier for them to crucify you? (Stanislaw Jerzy Lec)

My Response: Beautiful!

Question: It is beautiful, yes. He has been through a lot, and he probably opened his arms and got rewarded for it. How open do you think it is possible to be with other people?

Answer: The way knights rode the roads—with a shield on one side and a spear or sword in the other hand.

Comment: And all in armor.

My Response: And in armor, of course. This is how a person should be until we achieve correction.

Comment: So to put it bluntly, you are saying: I should not open up.

My Response: Not at all. I should not open up at all.

Comment: I expected you to say: completely or somehow.

My Response: No! Why? I cannot advise this to anyone.

Question: Is it possible to live like that, without opening up at all?

Answer: That is how you must live. All this is a consequence of evil.

Question: That is, there is this evil in us?

Answer: Yes.

Question: And what is sincerity? They say “sincerity, openness.”

Answer: Where did you find such simpletons?

Question: Then tell me, in what case can humanity come to a state where a person will be open to a person?

Answer: If everyone is corrected and wishes each other well.

Question: So, our job should be to come to the point where we wish others well, and then we can slowly begin to open up?

Answer: Yes.

Question: So a person should feel bad because they cannot open up?

Answer: Yes.

Question: To the point of prayer, of howling, to what? To what state?

Answer: To despair that I cannot open up. I want to open up to others and see that everyone is open to me, but that does not happen.

Question: Do I want this to happen?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Will it ever happen?

Answer: In general it should be, according to the plan of creation.

Comment: But that is what you are trying to do all the time. You talk about it all the time.

My Response: Yes, but I am alone. Or how many are there?

Comment: There are not many, frankly.

My Response: We will wait. The world will come to this anyway, but the question is when.

Question: But is this the ultimate plan for us to come to this?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Is this what is called that we will unite with the Creator, unite with the supreme mind?

Answer: Of course. So a little more optimism, and everything will be fine.

“Injections” of Spiritual Information

272We know that if people in one part of the world think about something, similar thoughts arise in another part of the world.

Therefore, beyond the material, which is universally understood, I share much more that is incomprehensible to most; it passes unnoticed in the delivery of my material. Even so, this information is absorbed by the common system we exist in, by the collective universe in its concealed part. Over time, this makes it easier for people to understand, realize, and arrive at the ideas we are discussing.

We see this happening today as thousands of people suddenly join us, quickly grasp the materials, and agree with our concepts. They do not just nod their heads; during lectures they genuinely absorb the core principles, concepts that once took two or three years to understand. Now people begin to understand them within a month or two.

Where does this come from? It stems from the fact that we have injected an enormous amount of spiritual material, effort, data, and facts into the air, and these now exist in the surrounding space.

This information is present all around us. It is imprinted on the invisible waves of what is called reflected light (Ohr Hozer) that emanates from us.

“Love Your Neighbor” – It’s Simple!

293.1Question: What is bestowal?

Answer: Bestowal is the sequence of actions where you first completely nullify your own desires and opinions, immerse yourself in the desires of another person, and then apply all your abilities to fulfill or satisfy their desires.

For example, suppose you want to buy a new iPhone, but your mother does not understand why you would spend so much money on another “toy.” You start explaining to her how amazing this phone is, listing all its features: Internet, video, and photos.

Essentially, you are trying to get her to connect with your desires, to feel what you feel, and to admire this new “toy.”

You want her to share your desire for this new phone so much that she becomes “lit up” by it and wishes to gift it to her beloved son. This is called “love for one’s neighbor.”

Similarly, I must feel the desire of the friend and feel obligated to fulfill it with all my abilities, even before fulfilling my own desires. It is as if my personal desires no longer exist within me!

Knowledge that Lasts Forever

963.4Comment: Every day, you record a significant amount of video and audio material.

My Response: I cannot do otherwise; I have to produce it. The task of organizing this material will fall to my students in the future. Even now, however, the material is gradually being structured, and forms various messages and programs.

I always aim to provide the most I can for the present moment. It is not possible to rush ahead since people would not be able to understand me. I do not create for “someday” or for things to remain unused; I share my work with those who are capable of applying it today. Tomorrow others will come and join today’s students, and the process will continue.

Although time is limited, ideally we would revisit all our materials each year, and adapt them to the new wave, the new state, and the new degree we have reached. But even if we do not revisit everything, the outcome is the same. People establish a foundation and over time are able to reinterpret earlier knowledge in light of their new understanding.

Question: Does that mean that this knowledge will be useful regardless?

Answer: Undoubtedly. Additionally, we are moving back toward an eternal, perfect spiritual system where every effort we contribute becomes a permanent part of it. In other words, what I produce today, even if no one in the world hears it, still enters this system, remains there, and is assimilated by humanity in this world.

It becomes a part of humanity’s collective knowledge, which makes it easier for future generations to connect with it.

Get Information Out Into the World

961.2Question: Is it important that you give out some new pieces of information every day?

Answer: Yes, my teacher, Rabash, often spoke to me about this. He would look at me with a detached, unfocused gaze, and just talk and talk because he needed to speak out to someone.

Speak out! So that this information would remain hanging in the air, passed through someone (whether understood or not, it didn’t matter), enter the world, and exist within it. Later, people will be drawn to it, discover it, and it will be easier for them to reveal it.

Question: So is it essential to verbalize this information?

Answer: Verbalizing means a great deal. That is why we are called “speaking beings” (Medaber). This is our level; it is what distinguishes us from animals.

Comment: But we are talking about this on a physical level.

My Response: It does not matter. You express information from within yourself. Speaking means building semantic blocks within.

Question: What if someone simply talks to themselves? Does the information have to pass through someone else?

Answer: Preferably it is through someone else. For example, for Baal HaSulam transmitting information through others was not enough; he would write and then burn material. It did not matter anymore because the information had already entered the world, resonated, fulfilled its role, and from then on, the world continued to exist with it.

Spiritual information is not physical. It is not something you need to receive, compress, package, extract, or process. No, it operates on entirely different carriers.

Is Our Path Programmed?

760.1Question: If you could step into the Creator’s place, how would you answer these children’s questions? Oleg, a 4th grader, asks: “Why did You make humans the main beings on Earth?”

Answer: That is a complicated issue. I made humans intelligent and gave them the ability to correct themselves. If they refuse to do so and remain foolish, I can only agree, stay silent, and wait.

Comment: Humans have been given intelligence, placed on this Earth. The Earth is really beautiful, nature and everything are beautiful. Yet, we ruin it.

My Response: Yes.

Question: Are we a mistake or not?

Answer: Of nature?

Comment: Let’s say, of the Creator.

Answer: Of the Creator, I think we are not a mistake. But we will only realize it when we begin to correct ourselves. For now, we don’t want to.

Question: Is our path programmed and someday a turning point toward correction will inevitably happen?

Answer: Yes, I am certain it must happen, and fairly soon.

Question: Will it be a shock, a sudden thought, or the discovery of a new kind of mind?

Answer: It will emerge from within us. We will begin to feel what the other world, the new world, the higher world, should be.

Question: And we will want to reach it?

Answer: Yes, absolutely!

Loneliness According to Hemingway

629.3Question: Loneliness is a very pressing issue. England even has a Loneliness Minister. But Hemingway’s perspective is different. “Hemingway reflected on loneliness in his Nobel Prize acceptance letter, saying, ‘Writing, at its best, is a lonely life… He grows in public stature as he sheds his loneliness and often his work deteriorates. For he does his work alone…'”

Why do people value loneliness so much? Some suffer from it and do not want to be alone, while others cherish it. What is it about loneliness?

Answer: In loneliness, there is the sense that you owe nothing to anyone. And generally you feel satisfied with that.

Comment: You have often said that you could just sit alone in a room.

My Response: Yes, it depends on one’s character.

Comment: But you were still compelled not to be alone.

My Response: Well, what can you do?

Question: Is that a burden?

Answer: I think it is a burden.

Question: And how did you accept it?

Answer: I was forced to do it.

Question: Can you describe how you felt that call? You could have just stayed, written books—you seemed to have planned that.

Answer: No, people came—some, then others. Gradually, I was compelled. What can you do? If not for this higher obligation, I would not have done it.

Question: Can you say what you would have done if you had not been compelled?

Answer: I would have written books, maybe occasionally given lectures, and then I would go back to my place.

Why Is There no Tenderness in the World?

627.1Question: The Riga-based writer Mikhail Dymov asked students from Riga schools, aged 6 to 10 to write to the Almighty and ask Him pressing questions and to ask for the most important things. And so the children asked the Creator.

If you don’t mind, I ask you to imagine yourself in the place of the Creator—what would you answer the children?

Lena, a first-grader—a first-grader—asks: “Why is the world without tenderness?”

Answer: Yes, this is how our world is. There is no tenderness in the world because people do not love each other.

Question: Then why was it created?

Answer: To bring the world as close to this as possible. That is something we must achieve on our own—independently and thoughtfully.

Question: What does it mean for life, for our world, if a first-grade girl is asking such a question? Please explain.

Answer: It means the world is already becoming serious and ready for corrective action.

Question: Even if such questions reach the youngest children?

Answer: Of course, yes.

Question: So do you believe that children feel more deeply than adults? Perhaps she sees this in how her parents interact or in interactions around her?

Answer: She sees it exactly as she sees it.

Question: And we fail to see it?

Answer: We do not see it.

Question: What is happening to us? Over the years does something gradually dim our vision?

Answer: We get used to and resign ourselves to what exists, and we do not want to see the bad because it feels unfixable. And so we live like that.

Why Does the Creator Punish Humanity?

294.2Victor asks:

Your Moses led the people to the land of Israel, he did everything that the Creator told him. And then, when they had already approached the border, the Creator suddenly said to Moses: “Turn over your duties—you will not enter this land. You will die here on this mountain.”

How is this possible? It is clear that people committed all sorts of sins before the Creator, but Moses was His devoted servant. Let him enter, he was waiting for this moment so much!

Comment: Indeed, in the Midrash Rabba it is written even more coolly. There are even thoughts of Moses, who says: “I have walked so much, let me at least touch this land! After all, I was walking and dreaming of entering this land.”

My Response: You walked and dreamed of fulfilling the desire of the Creator every day, every minute, with every step.

Question: Is this the main thing? Was it my goal to come to this, in fact? Is this my final test, then, which I have to pass?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Is this not cruel?

Answer: It may seem cruel to us.

Question: Is it necessary that I deserve to enter there? Or do I have to, as you say, annul myself and work as He guides me every moment, and that is it?

Answer: You must devote yourself to the Creator every moment.

Question: Then there is a question. It is written there that there were sins of the people, and there was the sin of Moses. Can it be said in relation to the sins “Because of your sins you will not enter.” Can this happen?

Answer: In general, yes. It is written this way.

Question: Is not to sin a possible option, or will we sin in any case?

Answer: It is impossible.

Question: So, we sin?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Can we say that today humanity is being punished by the Creator for not entering a land?

Answer: In general, yes. Of course, judging by our daily states, we are undergoing punishment. But on the other hand, this punishment is still purifying us, changing us, and bringing us closer to the Creator.

Question: Can I come to terms with what is happening while I am living with this thought?

Answer: What else can you do?

Question: Does it mean that I am going through purgatory?

Answer: Yes, You need to grasp the fact that you must adhere to the Creator every moment and stick to Him as much as possible.
