Blitz Of Kabbalah Tips – 1/28/18

281.01Question: If a woman has her own picture of the world, is the meaning of life also slightly different for her?

Answer: A woman wants to have a family, to organize herself, her children; that is how she feels realized.

Question: In the wisdom of Kabbalah is there a difference between the meaning of life and the purpose of life?

Answer: The meaning of life is in the achievement of adhesion with the Creator and the purpose of life is to bring all of humanity to this.

Question: Why are there contradictions on the level of our world that are unresolved? Are these obstacles that the Creator has set up on every level in the world?

Answer: Certainly. It is impossible to solve problems at their own level, in our world. To solve problems, it is necessary to ascend to the next level where they all come from. Therefore, our world always only discovers its own failure.

Question: Why has the Creator given people the possibility to feel each other and help each other if there is no higher meaning in it?

Answer: There is a higher meaning in it! Through these problems, lack of understanding, collision, and more and more dependence on each other in our global world, we are gradually reaching the need to connect together into a single whole. Then, within this single whole we will discover the singular upper force that created us as a single system, as a single person.

Question: Was there more suffering a few thousand years ago or were people less sensitive?

Answer: It could be that masses of people suffered more, but they felt it less.

Question: Was a primitive person happier throughout history?

Answer: Yes, everything that he had was from nature and it was good for him.

Question: Does the process of attaining the meaning of life depend upon knowing the laws according to which the world was created by the Creator?

Answer: Certainly. In principle, we learn all of these laws through the unity between us. So we don’t need to desire unique knowledge. All that is necessary is seen and learned through experience.

Question: Throughout the life of a person there is suffering. Does this mean that the meaning of life can be summed up as adhesion with the Creator, is this liberation from suffering?

Answer: Even liberation from suffering is included in the meaning of life, even though this is not its meaning. That is because attainment of the Creator is accompanied by tremendous happiness and joy, a feeling of eternity and wholeness. But these are all secondary feelings.

laitman_560Question: How is it possible to learn to approach or feel the intentions of the Creator in relation to me, to comply with His plans and not contradict them?

Answer: Only through the group.

Question: Why did the Creator create the created being? Why did He have a need for this?

Answer: The Creator wanted to give pleasure to the created being. We cannot understand this yet because we exist within the framework of time. But after entering the ladder of spiritual attainment, this will begin to be revealed to us.

Question: What exercises must a person perform to achieve the Creator’s form?

Answer: It is up to a person to dissolve into the right group by learning and carrying out the principles described in the articles of Rabash.

Question: Is the middle line the soul, the Creator Himself?

Answer: The middle line is what we attain through the correct unity of the right and the left lines, and the Creator is revealed within it.

Question: What is the Light? How is it revealed?

Answer: The Light is the characteristic of bestowal and love that fills our desire, and to this degree we feel the Creator.

Question: Are the higher power and the Light the same thing?

Answer: Yes. The higher power, the characteristic of bestowal, and the Light are the same thing.

Question: Do you raise our questions to the Creator so that He will answer them, as Baal HaSulam did with his students?

Answer: Absolutely. You can be sure that all of your requests and questions reach the Creator but in another form, not according to how you ask them. That is because there are many questions here that are personal and egoistic, that are not worthwhile for turning to the Creator in such a form; but in any case, everything is transferred.

Laughter Helps Us Live

laitman_241.01Question: It is known that laughter helps in life. Scientists believe that laughter performs an important social function and unites people.

Is it possible to say that laughter unites people?

Answer: Laughter in our world is an expression of satisfaction, which can be egoistic—sarcastic, spiteful, and completely unkind—because egoism manifests itself in a simple, undisguised form.

Laughter is more a manifestation of the joy of egoism.

Question: What are the roots of laughter?

Answer: Self-pleasure. Self-satisfaction. As a rule, I would say that everything I see is spiteful.

Question: Is there a more elevated state, good laughter?

Answer: Good laughter in Kabbalah is based on understanding, on revealing its opposition to the Creator. However, a person simultaneously understands how he can get out of it. As Sarah said at the birth of Isaac: “The Creator made me laugh.” This is already a high level.

At the same time, something very kind, good, and joyous is manifested, which is based on the complete impossibility of a phenomenon. Therefore, laughter is a combination of two opposites.

Goodness and kindness can emerge only from the evil, harmful, and dark.

The Ego Cannot Be Destroyed

laitman_566.02Question from Facebook: Does Kabbalah suggest destroying the ego?

Answer: No. Kabbalah is a method dealing with how to correctly work with egoism and fully use its power. This is why it is called “the wisdom of Kabbalah” (“Kabbalah” in Hebrew means “reception”), from the word “LeKabbel” (“to receive”).

Question: So it is impossible to destroy egoism?

Answer: It is both impossible and unnecessary.

Where Does The Soul Go After Death?

laitman_604.03Question from Facebook:  When a person dies, where does his soul go?

Answer: The soul does not go anywhere since it did not exist in the first place.

A soul is considered as similarity to the Creator. That is, the desires I can form in a way that would be similar to the Creator to a certain extent are called “a soul.” It is a property of bestowal and love for everything that is not attached to me.

In other words, when you exit the boundaries of your ego toward bestowal and love, toward caring for those who are not inscribed in your ego whatsoever, then all your properties organized together at that particular moment (since they constantly change) are called a soul.

Remark: People who think they have a soul and such an attitude toward others surrounding them, certainly become sad when they hear this.

My Comment: An ordinary person does not have a soul. A person is simply an animal. He has a vital component that naturally dies with the cells of the animal body.

The soul must be obtained during our lifetime. We are given this life and its various states, that is, future lives, so that we would obtain our soul.

Question: Is this the purpose of a person’s life?

Answer: The purpose of life is only to create altruistic desires from one’s egoistic desires, which will be called “a soul.”

What Kind Of Unity Is Called A Klipa?

Laitman_023Question: What kind of relations between friends in the group is called a Klipa? Can you give an example?

Answer: A Klipa is a primordial, basic egoistic force that acts only against revealing unity in which the Creator will manifest Himself.

There are various forms of unity requiring no overcoming of one’s evil inclination, egoism, which do not cause its resistance—egoism does not interfere there. There are also certain kinds of unity supported by egoism, for example, nationalism and fascism.

Therefore, a check on the earthly level is whether we really act for the sake of unity and love without borders. This is the difference.

If you want to do good to your people and your country, and don’t care about the rest of the world, or even on the contrary, if you wish detriment upon other parts of the world, then your entire unity is anti-spiritual. For this reason, it will fail and will be unable to exist. Therefore, Baal HaSulam says that this is a curse on the generations.

laitman_284Question: Is a person who is spiritually strong more of an egoist?

Answer: Yes, the higher a person ascends on the spiritual ladder, the stronger are his egoistic and altruistic characteristics. He experiences greater descents and ascents. However, from aside, it doesn’t generally seem that way. All spiritual processes a Kabbalist passes through are not completely seen to an external eye.

Question: Are the operation of a Tzimtzum (restriction) and a Masach (screen) the same?

Answer: A Tzimtzum is my refusal to receive for myself, while a Masach is working with an intention for the sake of bestowal.

Question: What actions does a Kabbalist carry out that a regular person cannot?

Answer: Only spiritual actions. In our world, we can carry out only the same functions that our body makes possible. In this case, a Kabbalist cannot do what is outside the framework of his beastly body.

Question: Is it possible to give an example of a spiritual action?

Answer: Every action through which you want to benefit others, for their sake and not your sake, is considered as a spiritual action.

Question: For whom is the method of the wisdom of Kabbalah intended?

Answer: It is intended for anyone who wants to become familiar with it.

Question: Are there spiritual laws that can be followed in this world that are without consequences?

Answer: Try to be good to people, to protect the world. Then, the results will also be good.

Question: Is it possible to exploit the upper Light not for spiritual purposes?

Answer: It is impossible. The upper Light works with an intention for the sake of bestowal. This is a characteristic that is derived only from your desire to bestow, to fulfill others. Therefore, not using it for spiritual purposes is contrary to its declaration.

Question: What is the intention of inner work in the wisdom of Kabbalah?

Answer: Inner work is a condition wherein I work with my desires within myself, comparing the various desires and intentions, and so forth.

Question: In the past 100 years, we have greatly embraced the use of electricity. In another 100 years, will we be using another form of the power of the Creator?

Answer: Judging by how much we are united and unite more each day, I think that it will be necessary to call upon the power of the Creator for help much earlier than in another 100 years. This is because, otherwise, we will simply “devour” each other.

“To Kill The Egyptian” In You

laitman_740.02Question: Why did Moses kill the Egyptian? What does it mean?

Answer: Moses killed the Egyptian in himself. We discuss what happens in one person. Who are Pharaoh, Moses, and all the positive and negative characters in the Torah, including the Creator? I do not know who they are and what this really is.

I know that this is revealed inside of me—even my special internal property called “the Creator”—because it is not outside at all.

Therefore, it is written that the Torah is studied in one body, inside a person, and there is nothing else. That is why “he killed the Egyptian” means that Moses reached a state in which he conquered his evil inclination, and from that moment he began to resist Pharaoh. Pharaoh thus sent his forces in search of Moses to kill him.

“The Egyptian” is Pharaoh’s private force. Therefore, when Moses killed the Egyptian in himself, that is, this desire ceased to work for the sake of receiving, he corrected it with the intention to bestow, and then Moses became Pharaoh’s enemy. A person then feels how his common egoism opposes his path and doesn’t let him advance. Therefore, he does not know what to do and he has only one solution—to run away. And then Moses escapes to Jethro.

What Does The Creator Have To Do With It?

Laitman_006Question from Facebook: Everything you teach is pure psychology of the relationships between people. What do the Creator, Light, and all other attributes have to do with it?

Answer: The fact is that the Creator is attained between people when a special relationship of bestowal and love appears between them. Not earthly bestowal, earthly love, but on a higher level, that is, above our egoism.

In order to rise to the next level, above our egoism, the wisdom of Kabbalah is needed, which, in principle, deals only with this. That is, it is psychology, but on the next, higher level.

In our earthly psychology, a person does not need to change himself in practice. Here he must receive the upper force, and Kabbalah explains to him how to do it. Receiving this force, he builds above himself another entirely different person who works in bestowal and love to others, outside himself. That is, on the material level, “I am inside myself,” and on the spiritual level, I act “outside myself.”

Materialistic psychology cannot deal with this; it does not have tools for this, no power of Light that can inversely change a person. Therefore, psychology is psychology, and Kabbalah is Kabbalah.

Question: Is it possible to say that materialistic psychology adapts us to the earthly reality, and Kabbalistic psychology, to the upper reality?

Answer: Of course, I adapt myself to a different system of relations built on complete disconnection from my egoism and above it.

laitman_961.2Question: What are the characteristics of the soul? Are a person’s character traits relevant to the soul?

Answer: No. A soul is only the characteristic of bestowal and love, it has no relevance to the present concepts of bestowal and love in our world: Joseph loves Sarah, Sarah loves Joseph, or Andrew gives a gift to Nicole. This is not the same love and not the same gift.

Question: How can it be that a higher soul, which is more significant and stronger, has no influence on the material level that is lower and weaker than it?

Answer: It does have an influence, and how! But that higher soul influences such that these lower and weaker souls don’t feel it. Moreover, it participates in their development.

Question: Does a planet exist in the universe where a person is born with a complete soul that did not become broken and is not inclined to corporeal changes through birth and death?

Answer: Nowhere except for Earth will you encounter the kind of life that exists here that is attracted to the spiritual world. Our planet is unique this way.

Question: What are the laws of the soul?

Answer: The laws of the upper world: the characteristic of bestowal, dependence on a Masach (screen), Aviut (thickness – the depth of desire), and Reshimot (reminiscences – data of spiritual knowledge). This is everything that we learn in the wisdom of Kabbalah; these are the laws of the development of the soul.

Question: Could there be a situation that in the present incarnation some souls have already ascended higher and others have no hope and are destined to be reborn?

Answer: Yes. In principle this is so.

Question: How does religion influence the development of the soul?

Answer: Religion does not influence and has no relevance to the development of the soul, so you should become involved with and learn the wisdom of Kabbalah.

Question: Is it possible to say that through acquiring a soul and attracting higher forces, I will be able to ascend to higher worlds while I am still alive, will continue ascending there and elevating humanity? Is this the meaning of the wisdom of Kabbalah?

Answer: Yes. Very well phrased.

Question: Do you have the ability to remain in our world for the sake of your present and future students until the full return of the reconnected soul of Adam?

Answer: All of us are mutually connected in every state. When necessary, I will disappear, and when necessary, I will return.

Question: If a person makes the wrong choice that is not appropriate for the development of his soul, will the higher powers direct him toward the right choice?

Answer: No, the higher powers only make it possible for a person to choose whether to advance or not, helped by freedom of choice.

Question: Can a criminal or a thief be a spiritual person?

Answer: No. A spiritual person cannot steal. He can carry out some kind of activity that in our eyes is perceived as bad, but in fact he is serving a higher purpose.

Question: Why were we specifically chosen to be involved with the wisdom of Kabbalah?

Answer: Your souls were already ripe. You are the most egoistic; therefore, you have ripened for involvement with
the wisdom of Kabbalah.

Question: Are there unique, chosen souls, and do they feel their uniqueness?

Answer: Every person feels unique because his soul is individual. But uniqueness is examined solely and only through realization; therefore, it is necessary to prepare seriously for spiritual realization, to participate in it and to instigate it.
