The Nation With A Special Plan Of Development

419Remark: After the exile from Spain and flourishing in Germany, Jewish communities in the 16th century moved to Poland, Little Russia, and the Baltic states. Until the middle of the nineteenth century, Jews lived in closed communities, united by one language, one trade, and one religion.

My Comment: The fact is that the development of the Jews does not happen in the same way as other nations. Throughout history, they constantly needed to care about how to come to unity and show this method to all the nations of the world. This is the essence of the Jews, their purpose, the reason for their existence.

After all, this is not a nation, but a collective group of all the nations of the world, which was assembled in Ancient Babylon by Abraham who brought them out of there and made a single nation out of them.

However, since they do not have a common biological root, they very often fall apart and move away from each other. If the idea that unites them from the inside is not manifested in them or they are not pressed by enemies from the outside, they do not feel close to each other.

According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, this nation has its own development plan.

Why Don’t Jews Understand Why They Are Hated?

448.9Remark: You have been talking about the need to unite for decades, and there have been no changes. There are not even any hints that someone hears and supports it.

My Comment: The fact is that a person hears only when he sees benefits in. After all, we are egoists.

A person must see that if he does not urgently engage in the introduction of the method of correction into this world for all peoples, then he is finished, enormous suffering will befall him. If everyone who belongs to Israel does not understand this, it will be bad.

Question: Did the Jews not suffer enough? And it helped them with what?

Answer: The point is not that they were killed, burned, or tortured, but in the realization of evil. This is a big difference.

An accumulative process is taking place. Sometimes it is enough to just prick a person, and he will say: “That’s it, I understand.” Because this prick shakes him up, and it is followed by the realization of evil. Otherwise, he does not see or understand why people hate him, what they want from him.

Talk to Jews today and they will say: “People hate us because we are lucky, we know how to get settled, we are smart, we can get rich, we can do anything.”

Unfortunately, no one knows the roots of anti-Semitism. Jews have no idea why they are hated. They believe that it is out of envy, “What can we do if people are jealous of us?” However, envy is not the only reason. Take everything away from the Jews and they won’t stop being hated. We see it.

Methodology From Moses

200.02Question: There are several stages of learning the method of connection.

The first stage is explanatory when a person must receive information about the current situation, about the crisis that has engulfed all spheres of our life.

The second stage is acquiring knowledge. A person begins to understand his egoistic nature, what the freedom of choice is, what the correct perception of reality is, the general goal of nature that he must achieve, etc.

The third stage is educational, sensory, when people studying the method of connection should be divided into small groups, in tens, in which they will be able to feel everything that has been explained to them in practice.

The fourth stage is going out into the world and working not only in a small group, but also with all of humanity.

What could you add here?

Answer: I can only say that I have not added anything new here. My explanation that humanity should be divided in tens and correct itself though them in general unity, and then in a larger form, comes from Moses, who, upon receiving the Torah, immediately began to unite the nation.

The fact is that by trying to unite above egoism, we begin to feel the common force of nature, which is called the Creator. The revelation of this force in us leads to a spiritual ascent. We begin to feel the entire universe, all of nature, the spiritual worlds, the system that governs us.

Thus, we rise from the animate level governed from above, to the level of man (Adam). Adam comes from the word Domeh, similar, to the Creator. We come to a level equal to Him. We must ascend to this state of complete similarity to the Creator.

Conflict Of Two Teachings In Judaism

570Question: In the 18th century, two teachings emerged among the Jewish people. One of them was Hasidism—a direct appeal to the human soul, to the Creator, to the study of the Creator and oneself.

This course was opposed by another school, which promoted only the dry teaching of the Torah. There was a serious conflict between them. As it was written by the eyewitnesses: “Heretics were persecuted, subjected to Herem (excommunication), forced to publicly repent their sins, and even subjected to corporal punishment.”

What was the reason for this conflict?

Answer: The reason was very profound because it stems from the destruction of the Temple. It was destroyed precisely because people refused to work on the connection between them due to unfounded hatred. They started to distance from each other and stopped working on love and connection. And this is how it has been ever since.

Some of them understood that the most important thing is a sensory, heartfelt, mutual connection between everybody. Yet, if for them the most important thing was to create such a unity between them as was in the soul of Adam, to be as one man with one heart, it was not so for others.

This is how people usually are: physicists and lyricists, some more inclined to mental research, and others to sensory research. This was clearly evident among the Jews, and therefore, they were in great opposition to each other.

Remark: The main point is that Kabbalists were spiritual leaders for both sides.

My Reply: Yes, but it did not matter. The point was not about the Kabbalists who understood each other and knew what was going on and why the other group thought so. The point was how to lead the masses: just teach them the Talmud, or educate them in a sensory attitude toward each other.

Remark: You said that one of the reasons for this split was that it was not yet time to spread this wisdom. Although many Kabbalists of the 16th century were already writing that it is possible to reveal Kabbalah, to this day not everyone agrees with this.

Answer: Indeed, to this day, Kabbalists feel the echoes of past battles. However, not to such an extent anymore.

I hope that modern history and the development of humanity will quickly neutralize all this and bring us to a common denominator.

Time For Spiritual Correction

937Question: Over four thousand years of the history of the development of the people of Israel, it has been noted in various sources that the root of this nation is its unity. And if there is no unity, then another law is put in action, anti-Semitism.

For example, in the book The Light and the Sun it is written: “When there is love, friendship and unity in Israel, no calamity can happen to them, and all curses and torments are pushed away.”

Why did the sages write about this for thousands of years, but they never managed to unite the people?

Answer: The sages were trying to do it all the time. From generation to generation, they not only tried to bring people closer together, but even succeeded in this, teaching people to be closer to each other.

But in parallel with this, egoism was constantly developing in us. This is the history of humanity, when egoism is growing all the time, dividing people. Therefore, we received an instruction, which is called “Mitzvah” (from the word “Tsivui” – “instruction”) to realize rapprochement with each other, up to the achievement of absolute love, complete unity in thoughts and hearts.

Throughout history we have been trying to do this, but so far egoism continues to develop in us, and in this it overtakes us.

Comment: People really tried to unite, but they did not succeed.

My Response: It should be so. The sages wrote that this should begin only with a spiritual upheaval, with the revelation of Kabbalah to the people of Israel.

And this revelation took place in the 16th century through the Ari, the great Kabbalist, who revealed the Kabbalistic method to us and described it in his books. We study from them. After the Ari, the Kabbalists, mainly the Baal Shem Tov and his disciples, continued his work.

Studying the books of the Ari, we begin to understand how the spiritual system is built, and what our work should be in order to bring this system into a corrected state. This is a system of worlds, a system of souls in which we exist, although we do not feel it.

Comment: Five hundred years have passed since the time of the Ari, but we do not see any significant changes.

My Response: The fact is that all spiritual properties, qualities, laws, and forces gradually descend into our world, and only in our time do we see how they all begin to manifest themselves.

Today we live in a world in which egoism is openly manifested as a destructive force. People are beginning to understand that they are in a huge breakage, in rejection from each other. And this is a manifestation of such egoism and now is the time to correct it.

But humanity does not know how to do this. In front of us is some kind of evil fate, which can do anything with us, and we are absolutely helpless. And here the science of Kabbalah is revealed, which begins to openly say: “I have the opportunity to correct all this if only you listen.”

212Another Era, Another Goal

Question: Before the Second World War, Germany introduced a lot of restrictions for Jews living there, and still they did not want to leave. Today when I read your posts in which you urge the Jews to unite because otherwise it will be worse for them, I think, if they did not feel anything even then, today it seems ridiculous.

On the other hand, I understand why the Jews did not want to come to Israel because it wasn’t sweet here either: Arabs, pogroms, dry, barren land. And if you were a successful lawyer or industrialist there, why would you come here? To engage in farming?

Answer: We will never be able to understand those times. And for the future it will not help, stop, or teach.

Question: What do you hope for when you talk about unification? Do you have a plan?

Answer: I have a plan to inspire all Jews in the world to unite among themselves, to show this example to the whole world! We are already living in a completely different era, and not in the one when the Jews had to flee Germany.

We don’t have to move anywhere today. We need to strive spiritually toward a common goal, toward common unity, and to bring all of humanity along with us. This is a completely different era, a different goal, a different period.

17.01Irrational Hatred of the Jews

Question: Before the Second World War, new Zionist movements appeared: the revisionists and the Jewish Agency for Israel (HaSochnut HaYehudit L’Eretz Yisra’el), which were at great odds with each other.

The fact is that the Nazis were willingly cooperating with the Zionists, especially with the Jewish Agency for Israel where Arlozorov was one of the members.

The revisionists, led by Jabotinsky, believed that they must not make any agreements with Nazi Germany, while the Jewish Agency negotiated with it, trying to solve the Jewish Question. Germany even gave money for moving the Jews out of the country.

Why did the Germans have such an incomprehensible hatred of Jews that they were willing to pay all expenses to expel them from Germany? Why did this 1% of the population bother them so much?

Answer: But what a 1%! It does not dissolve into other peoples. If you dug into the leadership of the Nazi Germany, you would find a lot of Jewish blood there.

Question: But the Nazis were very careful in examining the ancestry of Germans since 1600, trying to find out whether anyone in the family was Jewish. And if there was a great-grandmother or great-grandfather, then you could no longer stay in Germany. It was absolute madness. Where did this come from?

Answer: This is the working of a spiritual force; nothing can be done here.

Remark: It follows that it was something mystical, out of the ordinary.

My Comment: That’s how it was. This accompanies the Jewish people because they are tied to the spiritual force of nature.

For many years, the Nazis tried to get rid of the Jews in every possible way, sparing no effort or expense. They went around the country offering Jews everything they could to get them out of Germany and free the state from them. But the Jews would cling to this country as if it was something special.

Germany is the center of Europe. Jews had settled there a long time ago and had deeply absorbed the German culture. Don’t forget that Yiddish is a German dialect. In addition, Germany was not as ultra-religious as France or Spain. The Germans were friendlier to the Jews. There was no such anti-Jewish sentiment as in Spain, France, or England, where Jews were forced into synagogues and burned alive.

Remark: However, when Hitler came to power, a different policy was adopted in the country. It was forbidden to appoint Jews to public offices.

My Comment: But it was still official. The Germans are very meticulous. If a law is officially adopted, they comply with it; if not, they do not. Thus, it was customary for them to act within the letter of the law.

When Hearts Sing

943Comment: They say that the most affordable cure for stress when things are bad is singing. Even better to sing in a choir. Italians and Spaniards go out on their balconies and sing.

Scientists say that when we sing, a large part of our brain is activated. The brain has a singing network of neurons that is distributed quite widely. This is a kind of aerobics, in which the body produces endorphins, hormones of joy. This reduces stress levels and improves mood.

My Response: Obviously.

Question: When I sing, is it as if I get emotionally and sensually out of myself and work for someone else?

Answer: For others, for everybody!

Question: Does it mean that the song has a deep, even spiritual meaning?

Answer: They sing together. If the song is choral, then of course, this is a completely different effect.

The choir connects everybody together into one common whole! If at the same time they chant something like Psalms, then there is a very strong impact.

We praise our commonality, our unity, and we want to appeal from within ourselves, from our common whole, to the upper force of nature, to the Creator, in order to contact Him. We are to Him, and He is to us.

In Italy, people tried to do this, and as a result, they have almost nothing.

Comment: First, we need to sort out ourselves in Israel.

My Response: We will not be able to sort out ourselves! Humanity will suffer, but we will suffer more.

Question: What if we would start singing?

Answer: If Israel starts singing together, in chorus, all of humanity will join,  and it will really be an appeal of all of humanity to the upper force. We will rise to the spiritual level, find ourselves in perfection, in health, in eternity.

Question: When you say, “Israel will sing in chorus,” what do you imply by that? What is Israel? Who is this?

Answer: They are just the people of Israel. All those who associate with us, and not necessarily of Jewish origin. If we sing, the whole world will immediately be cured, and absolutely and immediately from all the sicknesses, from all the problems, internal and external ones, and mainly psychological ones.

Question: You say, “We will sing.” What will we sing?

Answer: The heart sings! It sings that I want to unite with everyone and that together with everyone we turn to the Creator. Only with one thing: to help us be together with each other and with Him.

Question: Turning to the Creator, what do I say? What do I sing to Him with my heart?

Answer: To feel only the connection between me, humanity, and the Creator, nothing more.

Question: Do I feel that this is love, that this is bestowal?

Answer: Of course, this is love, this is bestowal, and this is like the feeling of a fetus in the mother’s womb.

Question: In other words, the fetus is singing a blessing for its mother?

Answer: Yes, of course. The best state. There is nothing better!”

A Cry From A Dead End

236.01Remark: The 9 of Av is the day of the destruction of the First and Second Temples. In practice, the Temples were built at the height of love for one’s neighbor.

My Comment: The destruction of the First and Second Temples was foreseen even before their construction.

Question: Then why were they built?

Answer: To make sure that they could not stand in the way they were built. Each Temple personified the unity of people. And since this unity was insufficient, the Temples collapsed.

Question: Why did they collapse ?

Answer: In order to create the Third Temple. This is the most important thing. We must build the Third Temple only by our requests and prayers because the Third Temple is built from such desires, intentions, and connections that a man is not able to implement. He can only ask.

Question: That is, the Third Temple will be built on the basis of the unity of the whole world. Two Temples were built by one nation. Should the Third Temple be built by the whole world?

Answer: Yes. That is why it is written: “My house will be called the house of prayer for all nations.”

Question: In order for a new Temple to rise, must the previous one be destroyed?

Answer: Definitely. Because precisely on the basis of the destruction of the Temples, when man understands why these Temples collapsed, he can correct his attitude toward the very concept of “the Temple” and build a new one.

Question: Do you feel now that the time is coming for the construction of the Third Temple?

Answer: I do feel it, but people still do not. They do not understand the necessity of it and, in general, what the Third Temple is.

Question: Will only love for one’s neighbor be the basis for it?

Answer: Yes.

Remark: In general, everyone talks about love for one’s neighbor.

My Comment: Everyone is just talking. There is absolutely no realization here! Where, in what nation have you seen unification? Moreover, unification not only within the nation itself but also with other peoples, the motivation for this. There is nothing! But there is nothing in our nation as well. It just has to start showing up.

Question: How will you feel the signs of its manifestation? Will it be a complete impasse, a complete collapse?

Answer: Yes. It will be from a complete impasse, complete disappointment with what we have now, and a movement toward unity as the only way out of our state.

Question: So, as you often say, should there be some kind of a universal cry?

Answer: Yes. A howl, a groan, in which there will be absolute despair because of the impossibility of reaching your predestination. Not just live. It does not matter—to live or to die. In the end, we all live and we all die.

There is nothing to it. A couple of years earlier or later—a man can get used to it and say: “That is it, I am leaving.”

But the groan comes from the fact that there is a huge opportunity to adhere to a completely new world that shows up in front of you. You begin to feel that you can rise to a different level of existence. It is not about life and death, but about the ideal.

Question: What is this ideal?

Answer: The ideal is the unity of absolutely everyone above hatred. Then all will feel it as one.

431.05At Odds with Their People

Comment: In the first third of the nineteenth century, the disintegration of the Jewish people in Germany reached its climax, and one of the symptoms of the national malaise was the phenomenon of self-hatred.

Quite often, the Jews who assimilated became Christians or atheists and developed hatred for those who still observed their traditional customs.

My Response: If a Jew is not a Kabbalist who exists on two levels and understands both his animal level, which relates to the peoples of the world, and the spiritual level, which raises him above the animal level and calls him to unite, if he is not guided by the spiritual Kabbalistic principle of “all sins (that is, all differences between us) will be covered by love,” then in the end he becomes at odds with his people.

He loves some, dislikes others; this synagogue he attends, but in that one he will not set foot, etc. All this is based on conflict between people. Therefore, there are as many opinions as the number of Jews out there. The Jews have the same conflicts as all the other nations of the world because their animal root continues to exist from the time of Ancient Babylon.

Comment: The German-Jewish psychologist Kurt Lewin wrote from America, where he fled in 1939: “[a person] will dislike everything specifically Jewish, for he will see in it that which keeps him away from the majority for which he is longing. He will show dislike for those Jews who are outspokenly so, and will frequently indulge in self-hatred. Self-hatred arises from a sense of inferiority, from the fact that the Jew looks at himself through the eyes of the non-Jewish majority, out of fear of being unlike the majority, of being different.”

My Response: Naturally, he will try to be more German, French, and English than the Germans themselves or the French or English. This is what we see.
