Materialistic psychology, which has developed during the past 100 to 150 years, is the study of human egoism: how individual egoism interacts with everyone else, what connections, thoughts, tastes it has, and how it develops and satisfies itself.

Sigmund Freud, the founder of modern psychology, developed this system in practice, but today it does not work anymore because the system has become integral.

It requires us to exit ourselves and to not view the surrounding society with the selfish purpose of gain and fulfillment. After all, according to Freud, our main instinct is food and sex, “bread and circuses.”

Now the surrounding environment asks something different from us. “You will not receive fulfillment if you are not participating in bestowal in the way that you would be in balance with the surrounding environment” nature says to us. Thus, Freud’s approach does not work here anymore.

Kabbalah steps forward in place of Freud. It tells how to balance oneself with the surrounding environment in order to feel optimal and comfortable. In other words, Kabbalah is also psychology, but it is a psychology of the modern times, the psychology of connecting humanity into a single integral one.

Question: Today seas and oceans are becoming more and more violent. What is water from a spiritual point of view?

Answer: Water is the quality of Bina. Salty sea water is the union of Bina and Malchut, i.e., a union of the highest quality water and the lowest quality salt.

Salt is the only element consumed in food that does not spoil, i.e., it is like a constant in our world, and that is why we need it so much. The union of Bina and Malchut gives us this huge mass (salt), which determines all life on the planet.

But first of all, it is water. We came out of the water. Life originated in water. The embryo in the womb is in amniotic fluid. Water is everything. And now this substance is being killed by our thoughts and actions, and accordingly transmits its threatening reaction to us.

Comment: It often seems like you repeat the same things over and over.

My Response: No, it is not the same. I am working through the material within myself and trying to give you a completely different kind of energy, to relate in a different cause and effect way what I am saying.

I give out information and believe that my blog is an educational source. A person who wants to study the science of Kabbalah should attend morning and afternoon lessons and read my blog.

If you read it more carefully, then everything I bring there gradually shapes you and creates a certain inner atmosphere, thanks to which you begin to look at the world with different eyes.

I know one thing—when a person feels bad, he is ready to listen to the same thing from morning to evening, like some kind of mantra. Again, again and again. He needs it because it gradually works in him. And even if he reads the same thing, he will suddenly see a deeper meaning in it, wider connections.

Therefore, when you say that I repeat myself all the time, it seems to you purely external now. Then you will understand that I seem to have repeated something because I have gone to the next level and shown you that this is connected with this and that with that. But if you have not gone deeper with me, then at the same level you feel that I am supposedly saying the same thing.

There are people in our world who understand that they can be confused by anything, but the main thing for them is to attain the upper world. I could be confused too. I remember the states I was in. From all sides I was told this and that.

But some upper precognition or simply my nature itself directed me in one direction. I knew exactly what I needed: I must really attain the universe, find its physical and mathematical apparatus, and reveal the formulas by which everything operates. That is what I found.

All this is clearly written in Kabbalah. You begin to understand the whole system of cause-and-effect development that you follow and attain. You attain it clearly in nature by forces, not by mysticism.

For adherents to other spiritual practices, this is completely unimportant. The main thing for them is to feel that they are flying. Well, fly! Most importantly, this is cheating, selling all kinds of fetishes to people.

At one time, Abraham broke the figurines of the gods that he was selling. This is when he really became a Kabbalist. But they still sell idols to this day. This is the basis of the delusion of humanity. How is it possible to agree with this?

At present, the preparation of all mankind for the final correction of all religions is taking place. Islam is the right line, Christianity is the left line, and Judaism is the middle line.

In accordance with this, they make up their calendars. Islam has a lunar calendar, Christianity has a solar calendar, and the Jews have a generalized one: both lunar and solar.

Therefore, everyone has a problem with calendars, except the Jews. The Jewish calendar was created several thousand years ago with no amendments since then! Absolutely! There are no leap year additions, new time, old time, nothing!

It is based on the movements of the moon and the sun and is calculated to the nearest second. There were such great Kabbalists as Yehuda Ha-Nasi who compiled this calendar even before the collapse of the Temple. We have been using it since then.

Question: Why are the three religions Christianity, Islam, and Judaism considered the main ones?

Answer: Because they symbolize the three lines. All other beliefs accompany them and are included in them. They clearly do not come from the state where the soul was whole and then shattered into pieces.

Comment: Buddhism also plays a big role in the lives of many people. They see it as a religion.

Answer: Mercy is a property of the Creator. And this is a property that can be generated by a man. In part, it exists both in animals, in plants, in fish, and in all living beings. But in a man it must awaken in a measure similar to the Creator.

Man is born to achieve compassion. It is necessary to learn to be compassionate.

Question: Pascal was a great scientist. Did he achieve some point of the basis of man?

Answer: Scientists of those times felt it, and that is why they entered the field. That is why they called it all philosophy.

Comment: But the former philosophy is not the philosophy of our time.

My Response: It is natural.

Question: How does a scientist who works in exact sciences come to such feelings?

Answer: He feels the world; he feels how the whole world is interconnected, and therefore he strives to study its even greater interactions.

Answer: Yes, of course. Scientists do want to dig into that. But if they reach this point of mercy, it means that they got to the bottom of something.

Question: You once said that the world was created just from this point, the point of mercy. Did a spark of mercy appear?

Answer: Yes.

Question: If a scientist comes to this, then does the road to the Creator in principle become closer?

Answer: This is practically a contact with the Creator.

Question: Is it like the fate of scientists, or is it the fate of every person, to reach such an understanding of the spark of mercy?

Answer: This is the fate of every person. And we will all reach the state in which we will reveal—each for himself—that interaction, interconnection, and mutual sensory penetration into each other that is the goal of our development.

Comment: Throughout the history of mankind some people have tried to correct others, and there have always been penal colonies and prisons.

My Response: Prison is an invention of Pharaoh. We know from the Torah how Pharaoh threw Joseph into prison where he sat together with the cupbearer’s minister.

Judaism does not follow this because it is a clear imprint of Kabbalah. In no case should anyone be corrected. Just be patient and teach. No punishments!

There can be punishment only when you and the punished person know exactly what is happening and you work together on his egoism. He agrees that you are punishing him because otherwise his ego cannot be corrected, and he is grateful to you for this. For him, this is a correction. But this is not a correction in prison.

All the laws of Judaism are based on corrections that occur in the soul because there are 613 desires in the soul that we must correct to altruistic ones, to love one’s neighbor.

In order to tease a person and lead him to read the authentic sources and understand why he needs it, I write my books about what Kabbalah offers us.

But after that, a person has to read texts that give him or her the right direction, although this is also found in my books. Then one has to read the texts about the upper degrees one must attain, and this too is in my books.

Nevertheless, I cannot say my books replace the books of my great teachers. After all, the original source is best. I cannot compare my spiritual level with that of my teacher Rabash and even more so with his father Baal HaSulam. The more I advance, the more clearly I see what a huge difference there is between us.

I remain small precisely to serve my generation. I agree with not being elevated, although, given what I have done, maybe I could have gone higher. But then I would be more out of touch with the generation.

There is never any calculation with a person. The calculation is always general because the individual and general are equal. Therefore, if a Kabbalist can be of greater help to others by staying lower, then he will stay lower. The main thing is to serve.

Question: So it is impossible to rise to high degrees with such a psychological basis?

Answer: It is possible. It all depends on the person.

Even by reading my books you will later discover much higher levels than you can perceive today because it depends upon the individual. The inner level they are written in matters. My level is much lower than Rabash’s. And you cannot even compare it with Baal HaSulam. This is a person who has attained the entire ladder of spiritual ascent.
