Prison—Pharaoh’s Invention

551Comment: Throughout the history of mankind some people have tried to correct others, and there have always been penal colonies and prisons.

My Response: Prison is an invention of Pharaoh. We know from the Torah how Pharaoh threw Joseph into prison where he sat together with the cupbearer’s minister.

Judaism does not follow this because it is a clear imprint of Kabbalah. In no case should anyone be corrected. Just be patient and teach. No punishments!

There can be punishment only when you and the punished person know exactly what is happening and you work together on his egoism. He agrees that you are punishing him because otherwise his ego cannot be corrected, and he is grateful to you for this. For him, this is a correction. But this is not a correction in prison.

Moving Away from the Automatic Fulfillment of the Commandments

533.02All the laws of Judaism are based on corrections that occur in the soul because there are 613 desires in the soul that we must correct to altruistic ones, to love one’s neighbor.

In our world, there are 613 actions called Mitzvot that you can perform automatically, without any intentions. But at the same time you seem to be in some kind of mechanical, closed, and artificially created space. It is holding you.

The people of Israel kept this everyday life for 2,000 years until our time. And now it is starting to change, specifically fading into the background. Over the past 200 years, people have become less and less religious in order to be able to accept the Kabbalistic point of view.

The Main Thing Is to Serve

963.5In order to tease a person and lead him to read the authentic sources and understand why he needs it, I write my books about what Kabbalah offers us.

But after that, a person has to read texts that give him or her the right direction, although this is also found in my books. Then one has to read the texts about the upper degrees one must attain, and this too is in my books.

Nevertheless, I cannot say my books replace the books of my great teachers. After all, the original source is best. I cannot compare my spiritual level with that of my teacher Rabash and even more so with his father Baal HaSulam. The more I advance, the more clearly I see what a huge difference there is between us.

I remain small precisely to serve my generation. I agree with not being elevated, although, given what I have done, maybe I could have gone higher. But then I would be more out of touch with the generation.

There is never any calculation with a person. The calculation is always general because the individual and general are equal. Therefore, if a Kabbalist can be of greater help to others by staying lower, then he will stay lower. The main thing is to serve.

Question: So it is impossible to rise to high degrees with such a psychological basis?

Answer: It is possible. It all depends on the person.

Even by reading my books you will later discover much higher levels than you can perceive today because it depends upon the individual. The inner level they are written in matters. My level is much lower than Rabash’s. And you cannot even compare it with Baal HaSulam. This is a person who has attained the entire ladder of spiritual ascent.

Foreign Faith

409Comment: In the past, people often adopted another religion, and this was considered normal.

My Response: Because religions were decisive for man. This is all that humanity had.

Comment: But in fact, the person did not change, just the name of the faith changed.

My Response: No, at that time it was really believed that a person had become different. Let’s say the war ended, Muslims captured a city, lined up all the infidels on the square, and put them to a choice converts to Islam or we will kill you.

In those days, people were a little different. For them, faith was the most important thing in life. Many converted to another religion and remained faithful to it.

It was harder for the Jews. Under the pressure of the Inquisition, they were obliged to convert to Christianity, but they still remained Marans, and until this day there are still many. I was in Spain. Spaniards say that according to statistics, up to 30% of Jewish blood flows in them because after the baptism of Jews, Spaniards and Jews mixed up. This can be determined by surnames and other data.

I heard the same thing in Argentina in South America where people moved from Spain. Columbus, after all, was also a baptized Jew, so he began to look for a new land to take the Jews out of Spain since the threat of exile was already hanging over them. One of his tasks was to find such a place.

Comment: America as such is, in principle, a Jewish country.

My Response: Yes, it was built on the hopes of finding some land where you would not be touched. The first mayors in many American settlements were Jews, gold diggers, too, and so on.

People were looking for a place under the sun where they could be more or less protected and developed. But it all goes away. In fact, it seems to us that America is for everyone, but this is not the case. I have talked to American Jews many times; there is a certain threshold where you will be allowed, and where you will not.

Global University

582.01Question: Why don’t you want to create a more university-like, classical approach to our academy?

Answer: Our studies take place through communication, uniting, a person’s experience, formation, and upbringing.

A regular university does not educate. It provides education, general information, but not upbringing.

We give information that shapes you from the inside. Therefore in the process of obtaining this information, you must be connected with the teacher and the group and work together with them, then you will go through all kinds of inner sensations.

It is not easy. Our university is very unique, unlike others.

We must create a system of world education that will be suitable for any modern civilization. Today, there are six or seven different civilizations in the world. These are Europe, Africa, South and North America, Australia, and Asia, which in turn is divided into southeast and northeast. That is, we have many applicants who need a special approach.

Gradually, we are creating a worldwide virtual education system. We have built a portal where we want to unite all the forces in the world who understand what a crisis is, that there is no ordinary way out, that it can be solved only through unification and integration, only by the fact that people will be interconnected into a common system.

This is how we prepare the base, public opinion, and scientists. We want to unite all this into one “mighty bunch,” numbering thousands of people who understand and feel it, mainly all kinds of scientists, psychologists, sociologists, economists, and politicians. Together with them we will gradually understand that it is necessary to educate humanity, that it is the most important thing, and that we cannot solve the crisis in the same, old ways.

We cannot solve the crisis by stimulating production. Then we would completely deplete and pollute the entire earth. Besides, we cannot leave everything as is and start conserving, because if we do, the masses will rise.

What can be done? If we can neither stimulate nor cut back our life, what then?

Therefore, we need to organize a completely different society, one where everyone works minimally and the rest of the time is spent studying and going through a constant course of upbringing and education from the beginning to the end of life, studying about the world we live in.

And since the world we are beginning to enter is a world of degrees, all mankind must constantly engage in education and upbringing in order to ascend these degrees. This is the global university. In the end, this is how it should be.

We will approach this in several stages. The first stage is recognizing the crisis, the impossibility of getting out of it either in expanding or contracting, namely, in transitioning to an economy of reasonable consumption, which is what Baal HaSulam spoke about. In everything else, you fill a person with inner work.

Otherwise, nothing will work! Even if no one wants to, or if some do and some do not, it will be necessary to oblige people to take a minimum course of upbringing and education so they understand that we are entering a different system.

There is no other way. Nature will force us. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent all excesses through education and start now. I hope we can do this in the near future.

The Role of the Teacher in Kabbalah

165Question: Is it possible to go through the entire Kabbalistic methodology according to The Book of Zohar and The Study of the Ten Sefirot?

Answer: Of course not! Even if Shamati, Baal HaSulam’s letters, and Rabash’s articles are included, it is still impossible; a teacher is needed for this. And those who do not have one are engaged in currents revolving around Kabbalah such as Hasidism, New Age, and others, and it seems to them that they are already in it.

The realization of texts themselves, clear, internal, Kabbalistic ones, cannot be realized without a teacher. After all, he works on you more than you work on yourself. Just as a mother and father work on a child to raise him and it seems to him that he is growing by himself. Only later, when he has his own children does he begin to understand this.

No one can reach the spiritual degree by himself! Only if there is someone who teaches you all the time, “slips” you all sorts of actions, knowledge, questions, and guides you. Why do I always give an example with children? This is an exact copy of the spiritual growth!

One Cannot Advance Without a Teacher

961.2When I started studying Kabbalah, there were no sources where the inner work of a person was described; they were all hidden. Even my teacher Rabash kept all this in his archive. And just because I studied with him, was his assistant, secretary, and student, I took the whole archive and started publishing it. Otherwise nothing would have happened!

It all started with the book Shamati (I Heard). And then Rabash’s aticles were published from which it became clear to us what to do. Otherwise humanity would not have had it.

Without a teacher, without receiving clear instructions for many years, when lessons go in a systematic manner and the material is hammered into you over and over again until it makes a hole in your egoism and begins to fill it with another quality, it is impossible to attain the upper world.

This is a huge job that cannot be done by the person himself. Just as a small child cannot grow up without the help of others and reach the level of an educated adult, it is the same here.

The “Bird” Language of the Great Kabbalists

137There are materials in Kabbalah that prepare a person to correctly relate to the text and materials of the text itself. Kabbalists write both for us.

In addition, there are texts that they write for themselves, which are called “bird” language. These are letters, symbols, and incomprehensible squiggles. Baal HaSulam has texts that we do not even publish because he uses words in them that do not exist in our world.

For us, they are just a set of letters. But when you reach a certain spiritual degree, you suddenly begin to understand what they mean. And the feeling, its name, and what you read from it immediately matches and adds up to one place. But this is only for those who attain because we are not touching this part now.

So far, we are only interested in two parts of Kabbalah: how to prepare for the correct reading of the text and reading the text itself so that it affects me. That is all. That is what is there.

Method of Personal Development

630.2Comment: It is said that you can go mad from Kabbalah.

My Response: Kabbalah introduces you to the general hologram of the universe, and you see an absolutely correct, real picture, and everyone in it from the outside: how small and flawed they are, that they are perceiving everything somewhat distorted, like little children.

But it is impossible to go mad from Kabbalah. Of course, this is not an easy science, but it is a method of personal development.

While engaging in the implementation of the method, you are under pressures that force you to develop. Therefore, it often seems to a person that he loses himself, passes from one ray of vision to the second, third, and fourth one, that he looks at the picture of the universe from different angles, and sees the entire reality from inside and outside. He changes at every level, which a person in corporeal life generally cannot do. Of course, this is not easy.

But, on the other hand, although it is stressful work, it never fails. Never! Of course, it takes nerves, there are strong tensions, but this is development.

Stagnant Thinking

115.05Man has existed for many millennia, but his apparent spiritual transformation began when he began to comprehend his existence above the animal. This is not due to the formation of human society, which was created about 50,000 years ago, but precisely due to the fact that man began to rise above his social condition to the spiritual.

It was Adam 5,783 years ago who was the first to reveal the system of the upper world that manifested itself in him and who was first to begin to describe and teach it. From Adam, spiritual methods began to develop. And then Abraham continued it.

Question: Why then did egoistic development prevail?

Answer: If we had followed a different path of development, then we would have made our nature, technique, and technology completely different. We can’t even imagine what miracles both the Mayans and Egyptians had in the ancient world. But in fact, these were not miracles, but the correct physical use of the laws of nature.

There are huge opportunities and many variations of the use of the properties of nature; we go purely mechanistically, according to the principle of by force. We don’t know anything else. Look at what we are creating.

In addition, our ego stops us because if someone invents something, he immediately occupies it and wants only this to be used, and wants to destroy everything else. We put sticks in each other’s wheels, we don’t use anything at all.

They write that Tesla invented an electric car by connecting a small box to an electric motor in the car, and drove it at a speed of up to 100 kilometers per hour. What kind of battery was it? Imagine, we would love to have this today!

Meaning, we use everything incorrectly. And humanity had such opportunities associated with electronics, with radio, with means of communication. In fact, everything is much simpler than we think both in reception and transmission. But our brains only work in a frozen mode.

I’m talking about a completely different line of thinking, a different perception of the universe, where you begin to see that there is a different philosophy of life, a different approach to forces, to energies. And we got into the current mechanics and electronics and believe that nothing can be done differently. Why should we necessarily work only with electrons and nothing else? A computer is just a plus or minus, it is not the transfer of information in a sensory form from person to person.
