A group of Kabbalists is not built through a chance gathering of people. Rather, it is gathered from Above. The global nature builds everything, including the group around and within us.

It is up to me to relate to a group as a community of people from this world that are gathered following the influence of the upper power that creates unique conditions for us so that we will try to connect between us through a network of higher relationships. It is up to me to relate to a group as an offering from the Creator to insert me into a higher society, and don’t ever forget this.

So, it is up to me to accept everyone who comes to a group as a desired component, cultivating this relationship all the time, sharpening, and considering it more and more.

I have no other way of communicating with the upper force except through the group. If I want to speak with the upper level, it is up to me to turn to a group as a model that offers to be connected with me. Only through it I can explain it to the highest level, the “Creator” who created me, all of us, the entire world.

This relationship to a group is very important! It is to be understood that through it, I am speaking with the Creator. From here is our obligation to pray for the many, to turn through everyone to the Creator, to relate to others with love. In order to be directed to the next level, to the Creator, there must be relationships of equality between us, despite our differences.

We try to create a single whole from ourselves in which personal desires, intentions, yearnings, and connections don’t exist. Rather, everything is mixed into a single drop so much so that within it, we lose ourselves and acquire the intelligence of the next, higher level, its desires and thoughts with which we become a single whole.

According to the law, “ten turns into one.” Then it splits again into ten (the ego grows) and again is connected into one, and that is how it is in all 125 levels of our ascent.

This means that on every level a matrix is given to us, and if we work with it correctly, then we communicate through it to the Creator. This is not like what we do when we are communicating by telephone or through the computer. Rather, we rise to this level emotionally and are included in a direct connection with the level. So, the Creator, meaning the next level, begins to live within us.

The one difference is that on our level, in concealment, if we don’t feel the Creator, in the next level, we feel ourselves and the Creator as one whole, including the intellect of the entire universe, a general gathering of communication, the program of creation. This state is called “adhesion” to the Creator, and after it, there are 125 further levels in which adhesion with Him grows.

It is up to us to realize this possibility given to us in this incarnation of life, to relate seriously to a group and tune into the realization of our relationship to others permanently. Indeed, all the rest of our deeds are much less useful for ascent to the next level than what we can do in a group.

Even when we go out to the wider public with various activities, we require them only so that the need to connect will grow between us. Going out to humanity can be implemented through various communications media.

All of these are helpful since first and foremost, what is important to me is direct, clear, and correct communication with those friends who are gathered by the upper force, and it is up to me to work with them against my will. If this were given to me to decide, I wouldn’t ever choose them. I don’t know why I am required to attain the upper level, so they give me a group in which it is up to me to direct and arrange myself correctly.

Together with this, it is up to me to understand that all the rest are absolutely correctly directed, and I become a single string among a hundred strings that are tuned to the others. Yet, first, I sense myself tuned in the best way, and even though an awful, terrible sound comes out of me, it seems to me as something pleasant.

Like a mother who looks at her infant and he seems the most beautiful to her and the entire world is worth nothing compared to him, so I also relate to myself as the favorite. All of the rest seem to me not tuned at all, so much so that it is up to them to tune themselves to me.

However, in reality, our tuning must be completely the opposite. It is up to me to accept them all and each one as a completely tuned instrument or absolutely correct collection of characteristics. I am the only one who is not corrected, and this is not only in a group, but also in the entire world, in the entire universe. I am the only one who needs correction. So, everything was created for me. When the person relates to the world like this, he can say, “The world was created for me!”

Relationships like these in a group place us in the right state. I thank the higher power that brings me to a group. I am thankful that it shows me how I criticize everyone, and reject and hate them. I relate reasonably to part of them because I must be connected with other people, receive from them, so that I can feel myself better.

Gradually, I tune the string a little further and a little further. I bring it to the ideal sound in relation to the tuning fork. The tuning fork is the general movement of the group in which the higher sound has been felt already partially. When the general movement enters into harmony, the higher essence is revealed in it.

When we go out to disseminate, and more generally, throughout the entire day, we must wholeheartedly worry about the strength of our unity. This is the only thing determining the strength of the Light, which passes through us to the nation of Israel and to the world. It’s like we’re trying to hold something up, afraid to let it fall lest it break. We constantly hold up unity because the Light will pour forward only through it. This is mutual guarantee.

Otherwise, our words will remain empty sounds. What does it mean to unite? To sit and hug each other? To talk about it? We have been talking about it for years, but is it of any use? Does each of us have to be up against the wall, with a gun pointed at him, to feel the need to unite?

To you, “uniting” means sitting and talking about how important this is. But I don’t enjoy sitting and I don’t enjoy talking about it.

Question: So how can we overcome these final millimeters between us? We feel indifferent, disunited, and repelled by one another. Every person sits in his own corner, in his own niche, with his own thoughts and plans. But we don’t want to go back, so what should we do?

Answer: You need a cry, a prayer.

You need to understand that there will be no forgiveness, no second chance. If you want to attain success, then now’s the time. And if you’re not up to it, then you’re better off going your separate ways. At least that way you’ll know for sure that you’re on the wrong path and have no part in the correction of your soul.

In such cases, words are useless. When a person feels real love, he doesn’t talk about it. People don’t parade the thing closest to their heart—they hold it in secret. That’s why I cannot go out shouting about unity. It’s a different matter when you talk about it scientifically, although the emotion cannot be expressed since it lies much deeper.

In any case, you now have a unique chance and it is up to you to implement it. On my part, I have given you everything and cannot do anything for you. The ball is in your court. If you step back now, the future of Israel and your own future will come under the upper verdict…

There won’t be any other time. You have always waited for time to do its work. But it won’t. Baal HaSulam said in this regard: One who rejects the moment will realize it years later. Right now we are simply obligated to work 24/7, upholding the unity at every moment. There’s no other option. This must be our personal and common, single objective.

Forget about me. You have everything you need, so take action, if that’s what you want. And if you don’t, then I have nothing to add. There are things a father cannot do for his son. The ball is in your court now. Everything is up to you.

What’s important is not the materials we hand out or the conversations about having to unite. This has to be conveyed sincerely from heart to heart. I hope you will accept this and feel it deep down. I hope you will attain prayer, a cry and mutual support. Good luck!

Question: When our friends go out to the wider public to arrange a workshop, what can we, those who are not with them, add to their intention, to their message?

Answer: Internally, we must gather together and think about them. This is what is called praying for their success because, as a result of this success, they will bring us “booty,” in other words, the desires of all of those people who want to feel themselves a little better, a little happier, and more successful in this life. It is not important that these desires are egoistic; we take them.

With this, we perceive them. We begin to feel a need to give people all that they want: happiness, connection between them and all the rest. Their desires begin to work in us, and this means that we have something to elevate to the Creator. Otherwise, we don’t rise to Him.

As Baal HaSulam writes in the article, “No Time to Acquire What is Given,” we cannot ask for ourselves in any way. Even if I want to ask, “Give me the possibility to bestow to you. Give me the possibility of fulfilling the others. Give me the possibility to…,” I cannot say “me” because, this way, I place myself opposite the entire system, I don’t enter into it like a gear.

I must say, “Give to them” or “to us,” but in no way to “me.” This means that, if I pray for something, I must pray for the others so that it will be good for them. Then, I am participating in this correctly.

So, if we now are thinking that our friends will succeed in going out to the public and will connect with it so that the public will feel warmth from them, that their inner desire is revealed to the friends (even if they don’t feel this obviously), that they will bring them to us, then it will become a prayer to the Creator.

So, we ask and entreat the Creator spiritually, even though the public is asking for something completely materialistic. The Upper Light comes precisely through a prayer like this.

Question: What is preferable: to read a segment, to be quiet for 30 seconds, or maybe to sing a song? What do we do so that all of us are thinking about them for at least a second? What does it mean to pray?

Answer: Prayer is your desire that the friends will succeed in doing this action, that this will give contentment to the Creator. This is prayer. We open the heart and not the mouth.

I don’t understand what you are imagining to yourselves as prayer, as a spiritual activity. Is this when you disperse clouds with your mind or light candles or fall on your knees?

A spiritual activity is when you very much desire something in common with the others, and, in this activity, besides you and the group, the Creator participates.

Question: What does internal contact with the audience mean?

Answer: Creating internal contact means feeling the audience as naturally as a mother feels her child. A father feels him through his head and a mother through the umbilical cord. This connection remains.

In the spiritual world, intrauterine spiritual development of the fetus leads to birth, but birth is not a departure from the higher Partzuf but an even greater connection with it.

In our world we are detached from our parents, from our mother, and we begin to develop independently, growing distant from her. But in the spiritual world, no! We get even closer, clothing the higher Partzuf: on NHY, on HGT, on HBD.

This means that in the spiritual world an even greater deepening happens within the Upper Partzuf; it is not birth outside of it, but an even greater entry into it.

Question: We waste a lot of time rehearsing for an appearance before vacationers. Does the time of preparation have to be some kind of balance between adaptation of artistic proficiency and our internal unity?

Answer: I suppose that this is not necessary. It is an amateur performance and you can’t surpass professional performers. You only have inner energy, warmth, and spontaneity, these attract and attune people to you. If you have that, the method works. And if not, then of course you will fail.

This is because you are doing spiritual work, and in this work the most important thing is preparation.

Question: During the event itself, where is the Creator most of the time, with the audience or with our friends? To what must I be directed, towards the audience or the reaction of my friends?

Answer: I must be together with my friends as a single complete whole that is now conveying a message to the external public. Even when I go out to them alone as a representative of my group, I feel that I am still within the group and get spiritual force from it which is what I put into them. I must feel myself as a responsible representative of my group, transmitting the Upper Light.

If I exert myself spiritually, I want to see how, despite the difficulties, I move from concealment to revelation.

I am in a confused state, but thanks to the group, the study, etc., and thanks to certain rights, I understand that the current state comes from the Creator. The end of this string is enough in order to upload the right picture: that everything comes from Him and that I want to know Him, to feel Him, and to reveal Him through the states I now overcome and work with. He operates through all these concealments while I become more connected to Him through all these concealments. These concealments become the thickness where we meet and I understand it.

In that case. this kind of work is very fruitful and leads to positive outcomes. I move forward through all these vicissitudes and tighten my connection with the Creator from one day to the next, under the rain of missiles and other interruptions.

I don’t fully reveal Him and will not attain His attitude, His mind, and His relations unless the whole Malchut of the world of Infinity is fully revealed in concealment. All this is actually revealed in the Aviut (thickness), in the problems that come along. It is in this Aviut that I get to know Him, feel Him. and hold on to Him.

There is no other way. This is actually my personal success. Later we have to think about how all this is related to the group and to the whole world.

One way or the other, this has to be my goal at any given moment, when I discover the interruptions, do not nullify them, but actually ascend above them. The principle of “if I am a not for myself who is for me” actually belongs to them and the final principle “There is none else besides Him.” It is not only the beginning and the end but the rationale of my search, and the formula of its success are also His doing.

Question: We are involved with dissemination of the integral method in businesses: We developed a preliminary program of five lessons, we arranged practical work, and concluded with a unity event. The success was amazing!

At the same time, the group arranged similar workshops in another region of the nation, but they got a completely different results: People whom they worked with suddenly had a negative reaction and ceased all contact with our friends. I would like to understand, is this success or failure?

Answer: Why were there two dramatically different results? It’s evident that a some groups bear Light and others don’t.

We have to understand why this happens. In fact, it is not important what we say. You can speak beautifully, logically, and quote the sages, but all to no effect. And you can barely pronounce the words and people will listen to you as to a child who is muttering something and we admire him. This is because he ignites a unique channel and love streams to people through it.

This needs to be learned. There is no doubt that in a group that has not been successful this channel has not been ignited. It is necessary to check if these people have the right preparation, study correctly, and connect with other groups.

The first level of examination is whether we go to events with connection and unity between us, meaning with such a state where we gather the upper Light within us, and then it will begin to work through us.

In the future we will begin to feel how the Light works and will determine which part of it we bring to people. Suppose that today we are igniting them with the pressure of the characteristic of Nefesh or Ruach, or even Neshama, all of this we can measure precisely, follow it and use it. And people will perceive this.

In this way, a harmonious system of mutual cooperation is created between us, where all of its elements are found in full maximum balance. For all of us can feel each other so much that nobody pressures anyone, nobody expects anything, and everything rotates simultaneously at different ends of this system, like a well-oiled machine.

If we yearn for this in our group, we will eliminate negative external results because the upper Light will start streaming through us to people, and then it will continue to work.

Question: For us veterans there is the good fortune of watching the young people in our ranks taking upon themselves the lion’s share of concerns (internal and external) for dissemination of the integral method. They evoke admiration.

But together with this, a bitter taste remains of those people who have studied for some time and have gotten accustomed to another way of study and other mutual relationships. They cannot find their place in this system. So the group is in some kind of conflict. How should we perceive this?

Answer: I understand you very well, because I myself belong to this type of people. It was very difficult for me to recognize this, that the Creator can be attained only through practical connection and unity with people like me.

I grew up in science and I was its fan, so I thought that it was necessary to perform everything through the mind. When I studied The Study of the Ten Sefirot and other sources, I “swallowed” them and constantly digested them within me with all of the juices.

It seemed to me that this would help me and  that only in this way would I attain this wisdom. That is how it continued for a number of years. So I understand these people well. But what can be done? Even for me it was difficult to change myself, because I was created differently: closed, distant from others, kind of  a “bookworm.”

Question: Is it worthwhile to push them imperceptibly a bit to participate in dissemination or is it preferable to leave them alone?

Answer: It is forbidden to leave them alone. They must feel both through bitter envy and through sweet envy that you have what they don’t have and that you will attain the upper world specifically thanks to what you are doing, and they won’t.

You need to help them this way, but don’t deliberately poke them in their face, rather with subtlety, show that they must participate physically in this, if not actively, then with their desires, even those who are opposed: He doesn’t want to, but in spite of it all he participates. So it is said that in spiritual work a person is motivated by envy.

Question: What does it mean to carry out the mission of the people of Israel, to return to the religion?

Answer: This is not what is required. It is necessary only to begin to be involved with uniting the people. This is called the wisdom of Kabbalah, the wisdom of connection and unity. The wisdom of Kabbalah speaks only about this.

The wisdom of Kabbalah explains the structure of the world and the great collective system that manages it. The upper higher system of management is designed to help people understand and attain it. And it is only possible by detaching from it and learning it gradually from this state.

It is precisely due to our division, separation, and shattered state that we slightly begin to discover this higher system of conduct,“as far as light excelleth darkness,” (Ecclesiastes 2:13). This system is singular, complete, integral, and analog; we must gradually build ourselves the same way within.

The moment we connect between us in a general common “circle” where we are all are equal, where all friends help each other and are connected together with love, then the higher system begins to act in a good way towards us and helps us. Then we advance towards the good.

But Israel is at the center of all humanity, at the foundation of all religions and faiths. And so, the moment we begin to advance towards the good by uniting to be like one person with one heart, we immediately pass this good power to the whole world.

The whole world also begins to feel itself as circular, linked. Suddenly everyone understands how wonderful it is to be in connection with others and how much individuality, competition, and our thirst for money and control harms us. On the contrary, it is much better to be equal and united together.

This attitude comes rom Israel and influences the entire world. All of humanity then begins to receive a round form like this. In this manner, instead of being a negative source, Israel becomes a source of good for the whole world.

Such a task stands before us: “becoming a light to the nations.” This is the main thing that we must do.

Certainly as long as missiles are falling upon us it is necessary to fight and defend ourselves, to stop them. But we must understand that the military operation itself will not lead to any solution. Everyone already understands this. We will have no place in this world if we remain as we are.

The army is imperative until we connect among us to the degree that Hamas will eliminate its missiles and tunnels itself, thanks to our influence. They are linked with us, and through our separation within the people of Israel, we invite their fire upon us.

That is how they unconsciously are fighting with the evil found within us. And the moment we transform our evil into good and cover ourselves with love, a protective dome of love instead of the Iron Dome anti-missile system, our enemies will become friends and will also want to join us and learn from us.

They all fiercely want to be with us, but through our internal separation we reject them, send them away, and produce hatred in them, and cause all the disasters in the world.

Question: What evil are you talking about? Other people in our position would have already annihilated such hostile neighbors. Instead we are healing our enemies in our hospitals at the height of the war.

Answer: This is not what they want from us at all. Our hospitals don’t interest them at all. They want to receive a new human nature so that they will participate together with us and the whole world. Then connection and love will prevail, creating a circle of unity.

Question: Do the friends from the world Kli need to search for opportunities to join our activities in Israel during this period of hostilities?

Answer: There is a unique situation here. Take an example from Russia, how our friends are creating contacts with all kinds of organizations, working with factories, institutes, gathering together for long-term projects, organizing large picnics, meeting among groups and so forth. There is something to be learned from them.

Moreover, their nation will even flourish thanks to their effort. I have the feeling that they are preparing a remarkable development for it.

While America and Europe are in decline, Russia is rising.  A number of strong and consolidated groups are working very actively in dissemination. They are doing a very great service, a great good for their nation, and this necessarily will open the conduits of bestowal.

Our friends are truly well-connected there; certainly the nation will receive and feel more calm from this, more stability, better relationships between people. Suddenly the situation will begin to be changed as if by itself, without any direct actions. There are no government programs; there are no new programs in the area of education; there is nothing besides the positives that are coming from our groups. It is specifically our work with the wider public that will bring change.

Interestingly, while the whole world is “round” and no nation can live alone, if our friends supply a better access to these conduits of bestowal and the Upper Light and it will be slightly closer to it, then the nation will live from the internal force, from the illumination that will be revealed among the people.

It is amazing on what it is possible to live. (Deuteronomy 8:3) “…man doth not live by bread only….”

The Americans are not ready for this, Europe still needs to work with it more. Perhaps there is a chance for South America because they are a bit like  the Russians in their mentality and readiness to understand this.

In Israel we also hope that changes for the better will be derived from our work. It is desirable for this not to be slow; rather, we want to hear from day to day more and more people speaking in our words, agreeing with us more rapidly, being drawn to us and are not afraid of the wisdom of Kabbalah. These are people who understand that the wisdom of Kabbalah is the right plan for our correction.
