Question: At first, a person asks for taste in the Torah in order to overcome all the obstacles, and the Creator really gives it. Over time, should one come to the request to work without taste at all in order to come to pure bestowal?

Answer: Working without taste is a very high degree. But for now, this is not required of us.

On the contrary, we must try to reveal all the tastes in the Torah in order to get as close as possible to it and to the Creator who is concealed in the Torah.

Question: In the end, should any taste bring joy, even if it is some kind of bitter taste?

Answer: Yes, but the bitter taste is already a step. It is no longer a demand placed upon us. Right now, we need to feel the sweet taste of the Torah and the closeness between us. Then we will move forward and, regardless of any tastes, strive to be closer to each other.
