The correction of the sin of the Tree of Knowledge is that we must correct Malchut, which originally received the light of Hochma for its own sake.

Now it has to return to the first restriction (Tzimtzum Aleph) or nothing will work.

To make a restriction, we agree to receive nothing until we earn the screen. Only as we form the screen can we begin to receive light.

Question: Why did the Creator give Adam to taste the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge?

Answer: To raise him to His level.
