Answer: The Tree of Knowledge of good and evil is our entire nature, which consists of good and evil forces that distance, push us apart, unite us, and bring us closer.

The system of interaction of these two opposing forces is the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil.

In Kabbalah, good means coming closer to each other when you wish others well, and evil is separation, when you move away from others and do not want to help them in their correction. And all this is determined regarding the whole of humanity.
