Not Fantasies But Reality

209Question: You usually read a paragraph from the original source and then comment on it. How is this different from a simple explanation?

Answer: I live in this state, and to the extent that I can understand it and experience it, I can talk about it.

At the same time, I awaken in students the desire to reach that sensation. And then, from reading a book or an article, they will have a desire to feel, to reveal, not to understand, but to feel, to be in it. Like a child who reads a book about adventures on a desert island and he finds it exciting, interesting.

Imagine that you are becoming the same boy in spirituality. This is how you should feel what the spiritual book tells you, and not as in a boy’s fantasy, but in reality. It captivates all of you.

These states are imperishable, they change every second, and you are constantly in such metamorphoses, spectra of feelings, sounds, even smells.

We can remember what was thirty years ago by smell or sound, and what will be millions of years ahead. All this is in us. We do not keep it in our “box,” but we are connected to the huge world of infinity.

We must fully open it, absorb it, and exist in this dimension outside of time and space, they are simply annulled for us.

Do Leaders Have Freedom Of Choice?

600.04Question: Kabbalists write that the hearts of ministers and kings are in the hand of the Creator. What does this statement indicate? Do they really have no freedom of choice?

Answer: Leaders have partial freedom of choice, not 100% because the Creator manages other people through them.

And even though they don’t understand this, the Creator operates on them in this way. We will further learn how the Creator manages us through certain people who, in principle, are not people in high positions, but are puppets.

This is a separate system.

In fact, the simplest person has freedom of will. The higher a person is on the hierarchical ladder in a society, the less and less freewill he has.

Integrating The Desires Of Others In Me

938.03Question: Should I integrate the desire to receive in me?

Answer: Of course, we cannot do anything without the desire to receive. It must be in us, but we need to use it correctly. How can we receive, absorb, and perceive all the attributes in us and then, with their help, bestow unto others?

Question: What should I do with the desires of the nations of the world? Should I integrate them in me as well?

Answer: Yes, you should integrate their desires too.

Question: How should I raise their desires to the Creator?

Answer: Only in the group, in the ten. By uniting, you begin to feel how it attracts and repulses you, and to what extent all this must develop inside you.

Studying in a group by collecting and assembling different people as one integrality is very interesting work by which you will begin to feel that you create an independent entity between you.

But at the same time, you need to work on it correctly. Usually people hear and think that it is not important; it does not really have to be this way. But it is the practical study in the ten that is most productive, efficient, and necessary.

Multiple Forces Or One?

533.02Comment: In his article “The Essence of the Wisdom of Kabbalah,” Baal HaSulam writes about the order of cause and effect in the descent of the upper forces. We talk about multiple forces although we always say that there is only one force and that “There is none else besides Him.”

My Response: The Creator is the single positive force that shattered into many other forces. They are sometimes called angels and sometimes forces. In general, they have many names, but they are merely forces of the Creator.

“There is none else besides Him” means that even if you see forces that oppose Him, forces that seemingly harm the Creator and negate His uniqueness, His benevolent providence, it is only because He wants it and does it on purpose.
