Comment: In his article “The Essence of the Wisdom of Kabbalah,” Baal HaSulam writes about the order of cause and effect in the descent of the upper forces. We talk about multiple forces although we always say that there is only one force and that “There is none else besides Him.”

My Response: The Creator is the single positive force that shattered into many other forces. They are sometimes called angels and sometimes forces. In general, they have many names, but they are merely forces of the Creator.

“There is none else besides Him” means that even if you see forces that oppose Him, forces that seemingly harm the Creator and negate His uniqueness, His benevolent providence, it is only because He wants it and does it on purpose.
