Life Devoted To Attaining The Creator

226Question: It seems that everyone wants to learn to read the thoughts of the Creator, and everyone would use it for their own benefit. How can you really become like Him, caring and loving toward others? I think it will take a lifetime.

Answer: It may take all your life, but the fact is that you can’t attain anything if you don’t attain the Creator.

Only to the extent that you reveal the quality of the Creator, do you begin to comprehend the qualities of the world around you, and thus, you come to the state of understanding, awareness, and the revelation of everything.

When you begin to reveal the Creator, your perceptions change from egoistic to altruistic, and then you really become free.

How To Overcome Pride?

253Question: How can someone overcome pride? Is there a method?

Answer: Only in the group when you annul yourself with respect to it. You are zero compared to your friends. This is the most correct thing. We cannot annul ourselves before the Creator because we do not see Him and do not feel Him. The easiest way is to do this before the group.

Question: Can pride be manifested in the fact that I think that someone else should change but not me? But in fact, I should change myself, and not, as is customary, change others.

Answer: Yes. But this already is a different level.

The thing is that I feel the world the way I feel it. Therefore, if I am proud of something, it means that I do not look at the world correctly. The correct vision of the world is when I am the lowest, zero, and I have a right to exist only if I aim myself to the upper, to the Creator.

Equality In Opportunities

600.02Question: Throughout history, Kabbalists have evolved and understood the highest law: The is Creator in a group where everyone is equal. Is equality considered a fundamental principle of such a group?

Answer: Of course. We create the same conditions for everyone, give them the same knowledge leading to the same force. At the same time, everyone connects with each other to absorb from it properties and strength for their development. And then each develops within himself according to the original data—the spiritual genes that exist in each of them.

Question: So equality does not mean 50 – 50: where you give 50 percent of the  effort and I give the same? Equality is that I give the maximum and so do you?

Answer: Equality means equal opportunity. Everyone takes in as much as they can and in the manner they need. Just like in our world one is an artist, another a poet, a third a builder, a fourth a metal worker, and everyone takes from life what is closer to him, and everyone should give to the world to the best of their ability.

Question: That is, we are equal in our efforts to get closer to the upper force?

Answer: We are equal in our efforts to strive for the upper force in order to unite in it in our specific, equal efforts.

Who Can Be Called A Hero?

566.01Question: Who can be called a hero?

Answer: The Creator.

Remark: But in Kabbalistic sources it is written that a hero is one with a broken heart.

Answer: This is a different type of hero: the one who, despite all the obstacles, overcomes all the difficulties and is able to achieve likeness of the Creator. His heroism is measured by the fact that he was able to overcome all the obstacles in his path.
