Blitz Of Kabbalah Tips – 12/31/17, Part 1

laitman_547.04Question: Does the soul have volume?

Answer: The volume of the soul is measured by the degree of its bestowal above egoism. If a person’s egoism is great and he has the ability to transcend it and bestow through its help, it is valued as a great soul.

Question: How much time is required to ascend the spiritual levels if we are regularly studying the wisdom of Kabbalah? Is there an average or is it all individual?

Answer: There is no such measure. It is an individual ascent that depends solely on your efforts.

Question: Why is it that on one hand I know that the Creator exists and is hiding Himself from me even though I do not feel that, and on the other hand, I feel what happens to me directly and do not connect it with the Creator?

Answer: The Creator does not hide from you, rather it is you who are hiding Him. Everything that happens to you is done by the Creator.

Question: Where does the “self” come from? What is the reason for its creation?

Answer: The “self” is simply an egoistic desire, a feeling of self that is revealed through the four phases of the Ohr Yashar (Direct Light).

Question: Is it possible to develop and improve on one’s own?

Answer: No. If you are alone, you have no connection with the Creator.

Question: If the world exists only within me, do all of the sciences. including the wisdom of Kabbalah. also exist only within me?

Answer: Correct.

Question: I read that the Creator suffers much more than we do because He is forced to move us through suffering. How should I understand this?

Answer: Indeed, our sufferings are felt more in the Creator than in us because He is the totality of nature, while we are only a small part of Him.

Faith In The Spiritual And In The Material

laitman_567.04Question: Is there a correct method of working with doubts in Kabbalah?

Answer: There can be no doubts in Kabbalah. Rising above them, we come to the spiritual quality of bestowal, the quality of faith, and there is no room for doubt in it because there we reveal the Creator, the upper Light.

Faith in the spiritual is the feeling of the Creator. And the spiritual quality of faith is the complete opposite of the material where you close your eyes and imagine that this is so.

In Kabbalah, on the contrary, you open your eyes and begin to see.

“Man” And “Woman” In Kabbalistic Terms

laitman_543.02Question: Can the Creator be revealed between a man and a woman—two opposite qualities?

Answer: There are no men and women in Kabbalah. In Kabbalah, each of us has both a male and a female root.

Question: What are “man” and “woman” from the Kabbalah point of view?

Answer: A man symbolizes the quality of bestowal without any reference to gender, and a woman symbolizes the quality of reception without any reference to gender.

Any two objects, the created being and the Creator, or different parts within the created being, can always be compared as male and female components. That is, each object can be a male part with respect to one thing and a female part with respect to another one.

Everything is determined only by the action because any object is a desire to enjoy. To the extent that the desire manifests itself in reception or bestowal, it is called a male or a female part. From the spiritual point of view, at one time I can be a woman and at another time I can be a man.

Question: However, in this world someone is born as a man and someone as a woman. Why does this happen?

Answer: It is because based on the upper roots, the same distribution occurs on the animate level. But these gender differences mean almost nothing. We are entering the era of complete spiritual equality. Women will express their spiritual aspirations exactly in the same way as men do.

New Life 41 – The Reason To Marry: To Love By Fulfilling The Desires Of Others

New Life 41 – The Reason To Marry: To Love By Fulfilling The Desires Of Others
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

True love enables a person to be connected to eternity. By exiting ourselves, making concessions to one another, and dressing in our partner’s desires and thoughts, we become one body again just like Adam and Eve. We see an opposite world, meaning a world that exists above our egos. This is a new world where we cannot be hurt. If we define couple relationships as a lab for self-development as human beings, as a springboard to a new life, then we have a good reason to connect.

My Thoughts On Twitter 6/17/18

Dr Michael Laitman Twitter

Father’s day is a great opportunity to learn more about the father’s role within the family unit:

In the spiritual world too, there are two forces called “#father” and “mother,” which develop the soul. Two forces through which the Creator presents himself to the created being, and develops the created being. #fathersday2018

Their mutual complementarity is necessary for the natural and healthy development of every person in our world.

Father’s role is to point at the goal of life and direct his children to a path that leads to it. Mother’s role is to cradle the children with warmth and support them all along the way. Father provides authority and confidence. Mother provides abundance and nourishment. #FathersDay

The soul grows as a result of descents, after revealing a new egoistic layer, which I can then correct and ascend. I can’t ascend above a descent (modularly). This is why descents are so important. We must respect them—they are useful and educational.
#Spiritualwork #Kabbalah

Ego, repulsion is between us. If we overcome it and unite, the force of overcoming will become the bonding force, equivalence with the Creator.
By fracturing creation, the Creator’s force of love turned into hate. We must turn it back into love to become equivalent to the Creator.

Why are qualities opposite to egoism called qualities of love?
Love is the quality of bestowal in man, when he takes another’s desires instead of his own in order to fulfill them. This is called love—it’s a special action that has no analogues in our world.
#Reality #Kabbalah

The soul is one for all and unique in each one, like this world: one for all and unique for each person. What’s perceived in egoism is called “our, this world.” What’s perceived in the quality of bestowal, above egoism, is called the upper world, and is perceived with the “soul.”

While living in the diaspora, Jews lived in peace, helping one other.
In their nation, not sensing hatred, they’ve ceased helping one another and quarrel. The program of development demands the world to unite—this is the Jews’ mission. Otherwise they will be forced to do it!

If we don’t start correcting people, #Nazism is next!

The dictates of left #liberals, national minorities, and #LGBT have turned into terror on college campuses, where alternative viewpoints are eliminated. It will only get worse. The examples of China, Russia and Nazi Germany are still alive.
#Kabbalah

… enabling it to come out of crisis.

Hatred of #Israel is growing. Israel’s always in the news headlines. The nations of the world want to see Israel as an example of good relationships, since good relationships between Jews are the condition for the world having an example of the right relationships …

History is leading the nations to cohesion, and the nations are thus obligated to compel the Jews to unite.

Jews have the role of connecting the upper force to the nations. This is why the nations of the world are always subconsciously blaming Jews for everything.
This dependence originated from the Babylonian division.

The nations subconsciously feel dependent on the Jews.
This attitude comes from the Jews’ ability to unite above their egoism and thus bring the whole world to unity.
The method of unification is called #Kabbalah.
#Antisemitism

The 6/13/18 #UN General Assembly condemned Israel for using force on the Gazan border and asked for international protection of Palestinians. 120 for, 8 against.
The world is instinctively against us until we start fulfilling our predestination: practical unification of people.

Taste For Beauty Remains

laitman_600.02Question: Why did the Creator create so many interesting, amazing and beautiful things in this world? A person has a desire to try and taste everything. The Creator gave both opportunities and desires. Why go against this?

Answer: We do not need to resist. But when a person wants to master his exalted mission, he loses interest in everything else. As it is written, “The big fish swallows the little ones.” (Zohar for All, Chapter “VaYikra,” item 185)

Therefore, if I engage in attaining the meaning of life and understand that I need to reach it via a certain path, then everything else on the way is nothing more than a means.

Question: Is the taste for beauty in this world taken away from a person?

Answer: Nothing is taken away from a Kabbalist. On the contrary, he gets even greater tastes, desires, and yearnings. I still like good music, nature’s beauty, and travelling. I like watching the National Geographic channel, the animal world, and the ethnography and culture of the peoples of the world.
