Kabbalah – The Method Of Universal Connection

laitman_942Torah, Deuteronomy 21:09: And you shall abolish the [shedding of] innocent blood from among you, for you shall do what is proper in the eyes of the Lord.

This doesn’t mean that the same thing won’t happen next time because all the degrees repeat themselves. This is the entire Torah! There is nothing else but the method of correcting a person, the method of releasing him from the egoistic intentions for himself.

We can receive everything for ourselves, dragging it into us, suffocating, and ending life this way. Or we can give, get closer, embrace everyone internally, and in this way bring ourselves to the state of unity with everybody while restoring the system of Adam that was initially broken even before we appeared, and which we must bring to the state of global unity.

This method of achieving the universal connection is called the wisdom of Kabbalah and we must implement it. It talks about nothing else.

Do Not Lose Yourself

laitman_628_4Question: How is it possible to overcome an internal fear of losing yourself that is constantly becoming stronger and overwhelming?

Answer: You will not lose yourself. On the contrary, you will find yourself.

Now you are like a little animal and are only concerned about that. Therefore, at the end of his life, a person experiences great disappointment when he asks himself, “What was I living for? Where is all of this going? What will be left of me?”

Nothing will be left. But attainment of the upper world opens and develops within you a perspective of infinite goodness.

In What Way Does Reality Differ From Illusion?

Dr. Michael LaitmanQuestion: What is reality? In what way does it differ from illusion?

Answer: Reality differs from illusion as it is perceived by our senses to the degree that we become similar to the upper force.

Let’s imagine the ego as a vessel in which we perceive different effects. If we correct a small part of our ego with regard to the upper impact, we will feel the upper world in that space. We will feel our world in the whole uncorrected part.

It turns out that a Kabbalist sees two worlds simultaneously. In his uncorrected desires, he sees the corporeal world, and in his corrected desires, he sees the upper world, and that’s the way it is until he fully corrects himself. In both cases, he always feels everything inside his desire.

In order to feel the upper world, we must first restrict our desire (Tzimtzum Aleph), then build a Masach (screen), the Returning Light (Ohr Hozer), and only then can we begin to receive.

Only then will we begin to feel the upper world within us because now an equivalence of attributes is formed between us and the upper world.

Transcending Time And Distance

laitman_928Question: What does it mean to transcend yourself, to stop feeling your desires, or stop feeling them as yours?

Answer: To stop feeling desires as oneself is a very great correction of man because there is nothing in us that is ours; we are created beings. Creation is formed; it is created! Therefore, the correct image of ourselves, the right perception of ourselves, with the understanding that everything is given by the upper force that surrounds us, is the most important thing that we must do.

Our tuning in to the sensation of the higher field is to first simply believe in it and begin acting, and then to feel it. After all, in fact, there is no faith, as such. It is only required to advance in the attainment of the upper field.

In starting to feel the upper field, you are building more and more reliable and truer images within yourself. Thus, your perception expands, becoming more universal. You rise above time and space.

What is Reincarnation?

laitman_938_07Question: What is reincarnation or the cycle of the souls?

Answer: We can understand this by the following example: Suppose we attain a bit of ourselves while working in the group of ten, a section of our soul, and then we attach another ten to ourselves and begin to attain more; the transition from a small whole state to the next whole state is called reincarnation or the cycle of the soul.

This is how the soul seems to wrap itself with larger and larger clothing, with connections to other parts of the general soul until it attains the general common form that is eternal and perfect.

This is exactly where the cycles and the reincarnation of the soul are leading us. It has nothing to do with periods of corporeal life or the physical death of the body, or any of its conditions and development.

The Head Is Responsible For Everything

Laitman_177_06Torah, Deuteronomy 21:05 – 21:06: And the kohanim, the sons of Levi, shall approach, for the Lord, your God, has chosen them to serve Him and to bless in the Name of the Lord, and by their mouth shall every controversy and every lesion be [judged]. And all the elders of that city, who are the nearest to the corpse, shall wash their hands over the calf that was decapitated in the valley…

Cohens (kohanim – priests) is an intermediate stage between the Creator and all the other desires of a person. Our highest sensations, attainments, and desires are called “Cohen.”

To wash the hands means to elevate them to the property of love and bestowal, because water symbolizes the Light of Hassadim. Hands represent what a person receives, his desire to draw in the entire world.

It is written: “And all the elders of that city, who are the nearest to the corpse, shall wash their hands over the calf.” It is precisely the elders, the greatest forces of a person, that are responsible for what happened. Meaning, a person omitted something within himself. Therefore, he must engage his greatest properties in this work.

It is the same in the corporeal world. If something happens to the people, you can’t blame them; the higher authorities are guilty. The head is responsible for everything.

New Life 822 – Is There Reward And Punishment

New Life 822 – Is There Reward And Punishment
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Tal Mandelbaum ben Moshe

We are in the system of nature but we don’t feel it, so we don’t feel or see the mechanism of reward and punishment.

Our world is a narrow segment of a whole reality, so the reaction to our actions is not clear to us. The wisdom of Kabbalah teaches every person who wants to know how to develop this internal system in order to feel the whole reality.
