A New Global Disaster
In the News (washingtonpost.com): “The world’s largest underground aquifers – a source of fresh water for hundreds of millions of people — are being depleted at alarming rates, according to new NASA satellite data that provides the most detailed picture yet of vital water reserves hidden under the Earth’s surface.
“Twenty-one of the world’s 37 largest aquifers — in locations from India and China to the United States and France — have passed their sustainability tipping points, meaning more water was removed than replaced during the decade-long study period, researchers announced Tuesday. Thirteen aquifers declined at rates that put them into the most troubled category. The researchers said this indicated a long-term problem that’s likely to worsen as reliance on aquifers grows.”
My Comment: Through the selfish relationships on the level of Adam (Man), people cause an imbalance in the lower levels of nature: still, vegetative, and animate. And leads itself to the threat of self-destruction.
The solution cannot be on the level of the still, vegetative, and animate, but specifically on the human level, through balancing relationships between people and bringing humanity to a good mutual connection. Therefore we must implement global education.

I write this with complete respect.
It is still not clear to me how if we strive to exist in a giving state of mind and action, therefore creating a completely moral and ethical world, how it’s still ok to kill innocent animals for food when it’s clear that we don’t need to kill them anymore. If you can eat in abundance and live a good life, then why kill? This seems extremely egotistical.
This is the same line with nature and the environment. We we can live good lives will not harming the environment, then why harm it?
And we find out that actually by protecting animals and the environemnt (and people of course, but this is a given here) we are creating a moral society of sensitivity to all of G-d’s creations.
This is why I can not understand how one can be a Kaballish and still agree to kill animals (when it is 100% unnecessary)
Can someone in the Kaballist world explain this to me?

If there are true Kabbalists why the world is getting worse? There is nothing to do until the redention ,the 6000 years?
Ms Paz, It is well known that like religon our diets are an accident of birth and are extremely hard to change because of the habit force. Also there is NO diet where some being does not die to support another and this is shown well in the plant and animal kingdoms. For now every living being,not just mankind,is king on a hill of corpse because everything has some life force.Hope this helps.
