Prayer of the Ten

938.04Question: What is the prayer of the ten? Is it to unite with one another and with the Creator?

Answer: It is a prayer when we, together in the ten, ask the Creator to unite us with each other and with Him.

In this case we truly unite in one desire directed toward the source of creation, that is, toward the state that the Creator has determined for us so that from this unified desire and unified intention we can turn to Him.

Then He will hear us, take our Hisaron, our common desire, and will fill it with His light, with Himself.

Don’t Stop Your Efforts

938.03Question: Does a person feel the Creator’s response within the Kli of the ten or within the global Kli?

Answer: Generally, within the ten.

Question: But you said that the gates of sensing the Creator open precisely in the common heart of the global Kli. How can we correctly feel this from within the ten?

Answer: For that, you must draw closer to the friends in all the groups, in all the tens, to feel what state they are in, to try to be together with them, and to sense the barrier that stands in their way toward connection among them and adhesion with the Creator.

All of this gradually becomes organized within you. It already exists and is being revealed more and more, but you must keep striving.

Attain the Upper Roots

530Question: How should the ten correctly build the Kli in order to draw the light of the ten Sefirot?

Answer: We study this in the course of practical work. By coming closer and integrating into one another, we must try to rise together.

In this way, each time we will attain higher and higher roots, ascending ever upward.

The Center of Desire

938.02Question: You say that we need to be united as one. Where exactly do we need to be united? It is not in the same physical world but somewhere above. Where?

Answer: In the center of our desire.

Question: Where is this center located?

Answer: Our desire is in each of our heart’s. The connection of hearts gives us a sense of the center in which we should feel ourselves.

Don’t Let the Creator Out of Your Thoughts

938.01Question: Mirror conventions will be held in different cities. How can we unite all our desires into one in order to turn to the Creator and truly become one heart?

Answer: Exactly as you said. You will succeed because you are constantly searching for how to define this desire, how to feel it, how to become filled with it. Do not stop thinking about this. Continue.

Question: How can we avoid letting the Creator slip out of our thoughts, out of our unity, during the breaks at the convention?

Answer: Keep this topic alive all the time.

When you hear something from others regarding spiritual work, you should support them and continue this thread further. Carry it through all the excerpts we have received from Baal HaSulam and RABASH. In this way, you will surely reach the intended goal.

So That Only the Connection Remains

938.03Question: On one hand, there should be friction between our hearts that sparks light, and on the other hand, we must annul ourselves. These are two mutually exclusive actions. How do they come together in the ten, in connection with the friends?

Answer: You can annul yourself only because your desire to receive requires some fulfillment, and inclusion in the other friends does not interfere with that.

So keep on moving together toward the state in which you will reject and annul everything between you so that only connection remains. Then you will feel what the upper Kli is, which you will reach in this way.

How Can We Reach the Point of Closeness with the Creator?

935Question: What should our prayer be like so that the tens would find themselves at the point of closeness with the Creator?

Answer: Work on it. Think about it! Try to unite your actions and thoughts toward the Creator so that they bring you together. If we unite into one whole, then that whole will receive everything from the Creator.

Question: What do we lack in order for a true collective prayer to be born among us, not from each person separately, but from the shared soul of the ten?

Answer: Write about it. Write to each other until you find a unified desire that will help lift you and all of you toward the Creator.

Form a Request to the Creator

945Question: A congress is a gift from the Creator. Today, we still have time to spend the whole day in one precise, well-thought-out prayer that the Creator can accept, and to receive an answer. After all, you said we would receive what we ask for.

We would like you to formulate a thought-through request that can enter every friend’s heart so that we would hold onto it. Not the thoughts and requests of everyone separately, but one big request from our one unified heart.

Answer: We must understand that the most important thing among us is what we see at all congresses, especially today, that we do not have a single intention, desire, or appeal to the Creator. There is no desire to feel everyone in my heart or for others to feel me.

What should we do to make it happen? How can we do it? You should think about this, hold gatherings of friends, and connect: “How should we understand our friends so they would be inside our connection?”
I think you can create such a request. You must try to do this.

How Do We Become Closer to the Creator?

938.02Question: What does “condensing the circle of the ten” mean?

Answer: “Condensing the circle of the ten” means that we should become closer to one another so that it is not the Creator who is constantly before us but rather our shared Kli (spiritual vessel).

The Creator is the light that fills us. Through our increasingly perfected Kli, we achieve closeness to Him.

Learn to Ask

947Question: How can we learn to ask the Creator without prescribing what actions He should take to fill our Hisaron (spiritual lack)?

Answer: Try to constantly ask for a deeper, more internal desire, one that is closer to the goal, and you will see that eventually the Creator will respond. There isn’t a long path ahead of you; there is only one request between you and the Creator.

The main thing is to ask. Like a small child who is always demanding, always asking their parents: “I want this, I want this, I want this!” And they give it to him. So, ask.
