Question: How can we understand that the Creator has been revealed? Is it expressed in feelings or in some special way?

Answer: The Creator reveals Himself when the vessel (Kli) is ready. If ten people are connected in mutual help and love on the very first degree that they can create between them, and they turn to the Creator to form and support this degree, then the Creator establishes the connection between them and supports it.

The Creator serves as the guarantor that they will hold on to each other, and only then can He be revealed within the connection He has created from them. All that is required from them is the request.

Question: What does it mean to turn to the center of the ten?

Answer: Turning to the center of the ten means to the point where everyone comes together.

Question: How does a person differentiate between the light of Hochma and the light of Hassadim in their inner work?

Answer: The difference lies in the very vessel, in the desire itself: either I strive to be in the light of Hochma or in the light of Hassadim. These are opposite things: we receive the light of Hochma in the vessels of reception, while the light of Hassadim is received in the vessels of bestowal.

We should strive to create such a state of connection between us where both the light of Hochma and the light of Hassadim will fill us, and we will be able to retain them within ourselves.

Question: What does it mean to fill a person with the light of Hassadim?

Answer: It means we draw them away from receiving so that they remain in the quality of bestowal at all times.

Question: In the group of ten, we try to bestow upon our friends and ask the Creator to grant us this quality. At what point can we begin to care about the vessels of reception?

Answer: A person should not focus on their own vessels of reception. We should only care about how to bestow upon our friends. In doing so, we will correct ourselves to the point where our vessels become entirely vessels of bestowal.

Question: What is the mutual dependence of the ten on the Creator and how should it be realized?

Answer: The Creator and the group of ten are interdependent both in positive and negative ways. This means that the group of ten must understand that in its desire to move forward toward the Creator, it influences Him, and He changes them accordingly.

Therefore, the most important thing for us is to relate to the Creator in a way that allows Him to feel, correct, and elevate us higher. Only then will we reach the purpose of creation; without this, it is impossible.

By striving in the ten toward the purpose of creation, we direct ourselves clearly toward Him, and nothing can prevent us from this except ourselves.

Thus, we need to clearly understand what we seek from our path, from ourselves, and from our request to the Creator, that is, from our prayer. By examining this, we correct ourselves on the path to the purpose of creation. Otherwise, we will not achieve it.

Question: Rabash writes that a person does not know where he will be better off, like Israel during the Exodus from Egypt, with the sea ahead and Pharaoh behind.

How does one get out of such a state when he does not know what to do?

Answer: The best course is to ask the Creator to provide you with good energy, a good force. Then, you can emerge from this state as if trying to pull yourself up from a swamp or out of deep waters by your own efforts. That is how it will happen.

The fruit bearing tree is a sign of Kedusha, and one that does not bear fruit is a sign of Tuma’a and is called an “indecent wise disciple.”

This is as it is written, “the fruit of a righteous, a tree of life.” What are the fruits of a righteous? Mitzvot [commandments] and good deeds (Rabash, Assorted Notes, 883, “For Man Is the Tree of the Field – 1”).

Question: What is the “fruit tree” of the ten that bears fruit in due season?

Answer: It is a tree that absorbs a lot of water and, therefore, grows in good soil and a good place and produces many fine fruits.

Question: How do we care for it to reach the correct degree?

Answer: By watering it on time and trimming dry branches. There is a lot of work involved in taking care of garden trees. Ultimately, you will have a fruitful tree that will nourish you well.

Question: What do we consider fruits in spiritual work?

Answer: Our corrected qualities.

Question: We often hear the phrase: “one man with one heart.” If the heart is a desire, doesn’t the entire world Kli want to reveal the Creator? What do we still lack to become one man with one heart with one desire to attain the Creator?

Answer: We only lack the correct work in the heart: to open it in relation to friends, connect everyone within our heart, and reach connection with the Creator.

Question: Are we not mature enough for this, or are we lazy, or are we not yet supposed to reveal this?

Answer: Perhaps you are not yet mature enough. But mostly, you are held back by a certain inertia, where you cannot convince yourself to rise above yourself.

Question: I can judge for myself: I feel very comfortable in our society; it’s so good, so beloved, it truly opens the heart. And within this cocoon of love, the thought arises, “Why move further?” What should we do about this?

Answer: This is a problem. The point is that you must forcefully break the shell (Klipa) in which you are encased and try to emerge into the fresh air. Moreover, everyone must do this together.

Rise above yourself, to a new degree. Feel that on this degree, you are indeed in some state of elevation, and from this state, begin to connect with each other, and direct this connection toward the Creator.

Question: Is it possible to do this if I do not see that this is relevant for the ten now?

Answer: That cannot be! This is precisely what you must work on. It will only become relevant through your simultaneous effort when each person “comes out of themselves,” connects with their friends, and in a common desire, connects with the Creator.
