Once and for All

526Question: Why hasn’t there been a deterioration of the traditions Kabbalists introduced many years ago?

Answer: Because they are all based on the laws strictly prescribed in the Tanakh (Torah, Prophets, Scriptures), Talmud, and Mishnah. They were composed by people who were in clear attainment of the upper force, the upper world. Therefore, what is written there cannot be changed in any way.

If today archaeologists find an ancient Torah, they say: “Look, it is the same Torah!” But how could it be otherwise when you cannot change a single letter, a single squiggle, because there are laws for the image of each letter?

A letter is a symbol. The way to write it, at what angle each element should appear, all this is precisely verified based on Kabbalah. Because the letters symbolize Galgalta Eynaim, AHAP, Parsa, the light of Hochma, the light of Hassadim, and various correspondences between them. All this has been established and described by Kabbalists once and for all.

Even if you are not a Kabbalist, you should know these rules by heart. Your calligraphy should be like the same font on the same typewriter. It cannot be otherwise!

Signs of Kosher Animals

559Question: Why is pork considered forbidden meat for Jews and Muslims?

Answer: A pig is no worse than any other animal; it just has a cloven hoof. What are the signs of animals being kosher? The fact that the animal has a Parsa, a division on the hoof.

In spirituality Parsa means division between the pure worlds of Adam Kadmon and Atzilut and the impure worlds of Beria, Yetzira, and Assiya.

Therefore, the separation on the hoof is a sign that the animal is clean. In addition, ruminants have a closed cycle of digestion; they chew food and swallow, chew again and swallow. This means that the light rises from the worlds of Beria upward to the world of Atzilut and descends back, rises again, and descends again.

If an animal has such qualities in our world, it means that in spirituality, respectively, it is in a corrected animal state, and it can be consumed.

But this is still not enough. It must be slaughtered correctly so that it will not feel it; meaning, the artery needs to be cut acutely and the blood needs to be drained. In other words, not to kill it with a gun, not with an axe to the head, but specifically in such a gentle way. It is believed that if an animal feels frightened during the slaughter, then its meat is no longer kosher and is not suitable for human consumption because the fear experienced by the animal can be transmitted to the consumer.

From a spiritual point of view, this means that if you wrongly kill your egoistic desire on the animate level and want to raise it to the human level so that the human level in you uses it, then you must prepare it in the right way so that no damages remain in it.

Interestingly, the only wild animal that can be eaten by killing with an arrow is a deer because it is so kosher. The fact is that deer have a special spiritual root.

As for fish, they should have scales, which symbolizes the screen of the spiritual Kli (vessel), and a fin that shows it how to steer. Fins and scales are indicators of kosher fish suitable for human consumption.

It does not matter how fish have been caught and killed. It can fall asleep without the oxygen it gets through its gills. It does not matter because the fish is not on the same level as the animal. You can cook it in any way.

Laws Emanating from the Spiritual World

559In Judaism, there are certain laws regarding kosher plants. For the first three years, you have no right to eat fruit from a newly planted tree. After that, you must separate a special part from them, such as the tenth, which a person separates from his earnings because the tithe (maaser) symbolizes the tenth part of the spiritual Partzuf Malchut.

There are also certain laws regarding the consumption of meat and milk, the right and left parts. After eating meat, you can eat dairy only after six hours, and after consuming milk, you can eat meat in half an hour or an hour. Why six hours? Because the Zeir Anpin includes six Sefirot: Hesed, Gevura, Tiferet, Netzach, Hod, and Yesod.

In general, all this comes from spiritual ideas. In our world, people fulfill these laws on the physical level although they have nothing to do with the correction of the soul. But when you do it, you start to think and ask: “What for?” And somehow you sort of connect with the spiritual.

And even if you do not ask, you are still in some kind of automatic state of communication, not definite, not explicit, not conscious, but there is some small glow somewhere. Therefore, it preserves a person for the future, and when he really begins to show interest in the upper, in the meaning of life, it kind of pulls him up.

Moving Away from the Automatic Fulfillment of the Commandments

533.02All the laws of Judaism are based on corrections that occur in the soul because there are 613 desires in the soul that we must correct to altruistic ones, to love one’s neighbor.

In our world, there are 613 actions called Mitzvot that you can perform automatically, without any intentions. But at the same time you seem to be in some kind of mechanical, closed, and artificially created space. It is holding you.

The people of Israel kept this everyday life for 2,000 years until our time. And now it is starting to change, specifically fading into the background. Over the past 200 years, people have become less and less religious in order to be able to accept the Kabbalistic point of view.

Is It Necessary to Love a Person or Just Not to Be Nasty to Him?

565.01Question (from a letter): Why do you formulate the golden rule in the interpretation of Rabbi Akiva’s “love your neighbor as yourself”? Rabbi Akiva said that all the commandments of the Torah converge to this one, single commandment. But the sage Hillel said that the main commandment is “Do not do to another what you do not want to be done to you.” Isn’t this second, more passive formulation the key to success? And besides, it’s more realistic.

Answer: That is right, I totally agree with that. But the fact is that “Do not do to another what you do not want to be done to you” is not a complete, passive fulfillment of the commandment. The second part is active—love.

So, the first one does not solve the problem. It only seems to distance people from each other. But they tend not to harm.

Question: So do no harm is the first condition? Should there be some kind of attack next?

Answer: Active.

Question: “Love your neighbor as yourself” is like an attack on yourself? Can I do it only after I have fulfilled this first rule?

Answer: Of course.

Question: Can’t I jump over it, right away to “love your neighbor as yourself”? Instead of proceeding from the rule “Do not do to another what you do not want to be done to you.”

Answer: Try it. But on the way you’ll still be doing it.

Question: So, it turns out that “Don’t do to others what you don’t want to be done to you” is included in “love your neighbor”?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Is it possible for an ordinary, simple person to come to this and not to do to another what you don’t want to be done to yourself? Or will you still do something wrong to someone?

Answer: A person cannot restrain himself. He faces his own kind all the time and constantly sees where he wins and where he loses.

Question: And they annoy him all the time. So why do they offer things that are unrealistic for a person to do?

Answer: It is realistic, you just have to work on yourself.

Question: The result should be the fact that I need to work on it?

Answer: Yes.

Comment: And until this arises in a person, he is not capable. Because a lot of people write to us: “I already live by this rule,” “I have been living by this rule for a long time.”

My Response: 🙂 I believe that it is impossible without the Creator. But, on the other hand, I believe that we will come to this.

I am optimistic because it does not depend on us. Nature moves us, and we will inevitably come to this rule.

Comment: All these rules of both Rabbi Akiva and Hillel seem to say to a person: “Do it!” And you say that one cannot do it without the Creator.

My Response: One cannot. Man cannot change the laws of nature.

Question: Which are only for themselves, only egoism?

Answer: Yes, a person is not able to do it.

Question: So, the question is if a person wants to follow these rules, what should be his steps? What is step one?

Answer: The step is very simple. You have to come to a society that will be occupied only with correcting the connection between them. There you will be able to see how they work on loving each other and at the same time study yourself, as far as you are capable of this at all.

So, one way or another, you have to connect to this breathing machine.

Signs of Spiritual Roots

557The Ari’s book Gate of Intentions, which in fact means their roots, describes spiritual actions that are behind physical actions. From this, it becomes clear why a person is arranged in such a way that he must eat certain food.

Precisely a certain one, that is, to not eat the meat of animals that swallow food, but only of ruminants that regurgitate food and swallow, regurgitate and swallow. Such a closed cycle of digestion symbolizes feedback.

The “cloven hooves” represent the Parsa that separates the right and left lines.

Of great importance is how to cook food, and why it should be kosher. Kosher means usable.

The separation of meat from dairy is the right and left lines. The six hours break between eating them is HGT NHY: six Sefirot of Zeir Anpin that separate it from Malchut. And so on.

All this is in imitation of the upper spiritual sources that have descended into our world and built their corporeal counterparts in it.

We Shall Do in order to Hear!

527.03The path from a person of this world to the state that is equal to the Creator is divided into many degrees and states through which we need to ascend. That is, each person needs to correct his inner qualities until he turns from an ordinary person into one who is similar to the Creator. This entire path can be divided into stages, just as physical routes are divided into kilometers along the way. There are 613 commandments in the Torah, states that we need to go through. The commandments are also called advices, which must be fulfilled in order to become more and more similar to the Creator, with their help, up to complete adhesion with Him.

Commandment also means advice because in each such appeal of the Creator to us there is a preparation for attainment, which is called posterior, as well as the attainment itself, which is called face. The Creator offers us some kind of action. If we fulfill it, then in accordance with it we will receive some kind of spiritual elevation and new qualities will be revealed in us, and thus we will take a step toward the Creator.

Performing the action itself is considered the posterior; that is, at this time we still do not understand anything and do not receive anything, but when we finish the action, we reveal some quality, the next degree, a new state of the Creator, and this is called face.

Therefore it is written in the Torah: “We shall do and we shall hear!” These are two states. When we do some actions exactly as it is written, we reveal within ourselves the ability to hear and rise to the next degree.

There are 613 such degrees in total. There are 613 preparatory degrees that take us to a new level. And there is also the side of the face when after preparation, we begin to hear and understand what is being said and to reveal something new. This is how we attain the meaning of these commandments, the meaning of these instructions.

The Mechanism of the “Torah and Commandments”

219.03Question: It is said that the Creator has prepared the application of efforts in the Torah and the commandments for us in this world to turn the desire to receive into the desire to bestow. How can we understand this?

Answer: There is a tool with which we can change ourselves from receivers to givers so that we strive to give to another, and not receive from him. This is due to the influence of the Torah and the commandments on us.

The Torah and the commandments are a mechanism that affects us and changes us from recipients to bestowers.

507.03Question: There is the commandment: “You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain.” Why?

Answer: In Kabbalah, “do not do” is equivalent to “impossible.” You cannot reproduce the name of the Creator because for this you have to attune yourself correctly and make yourself similar to the Creator.

That is, do not do means simply impossible. It is impossible to reveal the Creator if you do not connect with other people, otherwise He simply is not revealed.

Question: Where is the Creator revealed? Where do I find Him?

Answer: Between people.

The Essence of the Creator’s Instructions

294.3Question: There are a huge number of people around me in this world. Some of them are talented, rich, and happy, and some, on the contrary, are poor, unhappy, and sick. I really feel like saying that the former people were rewarded by the Creator and the latter were punished. Is it right to reason this way?

Answer: But these are your judgments. How do you know what the reward and punishments are? How do you know the absolute meaning of the Creator’s relation to man?

Even the Torah says: “He, who does not beat his son, hates him.” What is meant is not actual beatings, but the fact that you have to put pressure on him to make a man out of an animal.

Question: So, if a person does not see the entire program of creation, he cannot, at a certain stage of his development and all of mankind’s, draw conclusions about reward and punishment, right?

Answer: No, in no way! For this, we are given lists of instructions that we can align ourselves with. Although we have not yet grasped their truths, we can still concentrate on them.

Question: Is the problem that everyone understands them in their own way?

Answer: It really depends on how developed a person is. But this is precisely the point of these lists, that a person is mistaken to the extent that he does not merge with them, to the extent that he does not comprehend the instructions.
