Future Society—One Humanity

laitman_294.3Question: What should be the society of the future?

Answer: The society of the future is a society in which people will begin to feel all forms of life at the same time. A person will not feel that he exists only in one part of the universe, the most insignificant and small part, called “our world.”

In addition to it, there are many more steps, and we can understand, realize, and feel all of them while still living in this world. Our world is the egoistic part of the universe, and the rest of it is altruistic. We can combine all of them within ourselves.

But in order to begin to feel the other levels, we need to get out of our egoism. Then we will see what the universe actually is.

Question: Now there is such a thing as thinking in the 5D 5-dimension. 3D is when you think selfishly, for yourself, and 5D is when you feel this world as a single mind, a single humanity. What should we strive to think of as a single organism?

Answer: For this you must rise above your egoism and acquire the property of bestowal, love. You have to lose yourself, stop feeling like a center, and vice versa, feel others as a center, as a goal toward which you give everything. And you yourself exist only for this. Then you will feel the level of 5D and so on.

laitman_961.2Time of The Book Of Zohar

Question: In Spain, several hundred years before the exile of the Jews from there, The Book of Zohar was revealed, a book about the correction of all mankind, about the passing of the method of connection to the world.

Does the revelation of this book suggest that the sages had some opportunity to use this methodology?

Answer: No, there were no great Kabbalists in those days who could use The Book of Zohar to make a spiritual revolution in the Jewish people.

It was revealed in the 7th century and slowly began to spread, but there were a lot of problems with this. The vast majority of Jews and spiritual leaders of the Jewish people did not want it to be revealed because it caused a great deal of confusion in the minds and souls of Jews. In general The Book of Zohar did more harm than good at that time.

But gradually it’s time arrived. This happened in the 16th century in the time of the ARI.

Four hundred years have passed since the revelation of The Book of Zohar. During this time, the Jews have caught up a little. They had already been scattered in different countries and had experienced many problems. They were facing the question of why they were suffering, and so their attitude to The Book of Zohar, to correction, to the achievement of some goal, became completely different.

Moreover, great Kabbalists such as the ARI, Ramchal, and Moshe Cordovero appeared. This was the heyday of medieval Kabbalah in Safed [Israel].

Society was ready for it. It saw how much suffering falls onto each generation, how they constantly are subjected to exile, and so large masses of people began to welcome Kabbalah.

Violin With Ten Strings

laitman_942The more I include myself in the ten, depicting that the Creator is there, the more I tune my soul like a musical string relative to other strings. The group should set themselves up like a violin so that everyone is like one person with one heart. And then the Creator will be revealed in us.

The Creator dresses in the violin and plays it if it is correctly tuned relative to Him and all its strings are ready. We ourselves do not play this violin, the Creator plays the whole ten together.

The lights flow into our Kelim and flow out and give rise to many harmonics, that is, glow at all levels, because the Sefirot are divided into main, particular, and subordinate, smaller ones. We feel all this as a conversation between the Creator and us, in this form He is revealed in all our sensations arising as a result of the correct connection between friends.

Everyone in the ten must tune their string so that the Creator dresses in our violin. And it depends only on the relations between friends, how much they become more important to me, and I understand that without them I will not achieve anything.

If the friends suddenly disappear, then I will lose all connection with the spiritual. A complete disconnection will happen. Therefore, it is necessary to constantly strengthen the connection in the ten and take care of all the friends as the dearest thing in life.

There is nothing but this. For me, friends are even more important than the Creator, although He is the source and the purpose. But friends are more important because losing them, I will lose everything and already will not be able to find them. I cannot just go from one ten to another ten, it is only possible at the initial stage.

But in fact, this is such a connection that it is impossible to change. It is a huge tragedy when a person is kicked out of the ten or leaves the ten because of some kind of conflict, not having found understanding among his friends or having failed to understand them.

Love And Caring In One Flask

laitman_527.09Baal HaSulam, Shamati, Article 34, “The Profit of a Land”: “Hence, it is impossible to attain something in complete clarity if its parallel is absent. For example: it is impossible to estimate and say that something is good, if its opposite is missing, pointing to the bad. It is the same with bitterness and sweetness, love and hate, hunger and satiation, thirst and saturation, adhesion and separation. It turns out that it is impossible to come to love adhesion prior to acquiring the hate of separation.”

If we want to be wise and able to appreciate any state, we need to be in the opposite state, and then we can appreciate what we have. In such a case, we feel the fear of losing what we have, we appreciate what we have, and we do not let go.

This is the true feeling of closeness.

Question: Do we need to constantly feel this trepidation?

Answer: We must. Loving someone, maintaining a constant feeling of anxiety, fear of losing this love, this is a great skill. Otherwise, this love is childish, worthless.

Question: Why is it not enough to simply get over the separation to attain love, but we must hate the separation?

Answer: What does it mean to get over something? You get over and you forget? No! Then you will not feel love but just a slight pleasant feeling. It is said about this that “there is none so wise as the experienced,” that having been through all the states and appreciating the joy of what he has, compared to the fear that he might also lose it, then he really guards what he has. Otherwise, everything will be lost.

In principle, the many lifetimes that we are given are so that we will accumulate experience, will start to appreciate what we have, and will find true happiness. And it will consist of the opposite of the bad state. This is how we were created;  we are created beings and are opposite from the Creator.

Slaves Of The 21st Century

laitman_538Question: Without the scientific and technical revolution, people in the 19th century worked for 16 – 18 hours daily, just in order to feed themselves. If there were no technical revolution, where would the opportunity to work for 2 – 3 hours and have everything you need come from now?

Answer: I am not saying that I am against the development of technology and all the sciences. I am saying that what a person creates becomes what controls him. From an owner he becomes a slave.

Look at what have become of our banks and financial institutions. They have enslaved a person. One doesn’t have to work that much.

You bring me the nineteenth century as an example, and I will bring you the twenty-first century as an example. What has happened to a person today? Does one work fewer hours? No. Feel freer? No.

And what has happened to his performance? It is specially used to enslave man more and more, and to throw the products of his labor into the sea. Otherwise, if he wouldn’t work, what would he do?

He will have a lot of free time! It is dangerous. Freethinking will begin, all sorts of meetings that would be inappropriate or objectionable for the authorities would start, new trends will appear, and so on. We don’t need this!

Let people work 15 to 20 hours a day, or at least 10. But if a person works 10 hours, we will give them another two hours to get to work and two hours from work on top, and it will work out fine. He would come home, have dinner, watch half an hour of TV, and plop into bed. And this would happen all the time.

We’ll book him a holiday somewhere far away. So he will spin, and we will inundate him with advertising: You haven’t seen this yet, you haven’t bought that yet, etc. So he will work like this for the rest of his life. Man was a slave in the nineteenth century, and will be a slave in the twenty-first century.

But there is a problem here: This is what our owners would like, but nature does not agree with this. And so there are all sorts of coronaviruses and other things.

We have entered a state called the “last generation” when we must achieve an integral, correct, friendly dependence and mutual understanding among ourselves. If this does not happen, we will be punished not only with viruses, but with whatever else.

New Life 1233 – Humanity As A Global Family

New Life 1233 – Humanity As A Global Family
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi

All of nature is round and it is only the human species that isn’t functioning accordingly. Nature has given us a collective “punishment” with the coronavirus and is forcing us to awaken to the need for cooperation as a single global family. We must become equals and support one another, no longer profiting at the expense of others. The world requires related global planning, education, and governance. If international relations don’t become more balanced, stronger blows are liable to come. Humanity has an influence on the entire system of nature. We have no choice but to spiritually develop.

Professor COVID

Dr. Michael LaitmanFrom My Facebook Page Michael Laitman 6/15/20

Like a firm, demanding teacher, the coronavirus is impelling us to change our way of thinking. By not letting us return to our previous way of life, it forces us to build a new one, where we focus less on material, immediate satisfactions, and more on lasting, social ones, which derive from positive connections with others.

We don’t have to wait for the virus to push into connecting with each other. In fact, if we do, we will suffer even more bitterly than now from the stern hand of the invisible “teacher.” Instead, we need to acknowledge our interconnectedness, that we are all interdependent in every aspect of our lives, and structure our society accordingly.

The new way of life will require a new kind of thinking. For example, if we feel that we are healthy and strong, we tend not to wear masks because they are uncomfortable. But by doing so, we may infect other people with the virus because we might be asymptomatic carriers. In the new thinking, we will wear masks so as not to infect others with the virus, precisely because we don’t know whether or not we are carriers.

The same goes for food. In the near future, there could be a situation where food shortage will impact all of us. If we all try to grab as much as possible and think only of ourselves, we will create chaos and violence. But if we take only what we need so that others will have theirs, too, there will be plenty for everyone and a feeling of warmth and confidence will spread through the community. In this way, the virus will gradually teach us that good connections feel much better and are much more rewarding than our previous life of brutal competition and overconsumption. The only question is how quickly we will learn it.

To My Students, Friends, And Followers

Dr. Michael LaitmanFrom My Facebook Page Michael Laitman 6/15/20

We are living in a special time. The hidden connections that tie us all into one whole have emerged and demand our attention. At such a time, we are all accountable; we are responsible for one another. What each of us does, says, and thinks, impacts every single person, and the whole planet.

For this reason, now we must pursue unity more than ever before. We must pursue it above all that separates us: race, color, religion, gender, language, culture, history, literacy, mentality, and character. We are one body, one organism, and in an organism, there is no hatred among the organs, only love, respect, and gratitude to each organ for carrying out its unique role. Now that we are all connected, we can see that we, humanity, are just like any organism. We are all dependent on each other, and we must therefore cherish one another.

When we help each other grow and express each one’s uniqueness, we are not doing it for another person; we are doing it for ourselves! When each of us is happy, all of us are happy. This is how it works in an organism. And when we work as an organism, we will discover the power that exists in unity. This power, which enables all of reality to work in harmony, exists among us. If we build our connections in congruence with this power, we will feel it filling up the cavities between us. Then, all hatred and anguish will cease.

In these special times, every person in humanity is summoned to partake in the unity, and spread it far and wide. The wider we spread it, the more we will feel it. For this reason, I am asking all my friends, students, and followers to please share this message. Share the posts on my page wherever you can; place them on your wall and in groups where you are members. You are not doing this for yourselves; you are doing this for the world, to spread unity and love the world over. Never before has spreading love and unity been more pressing and essential than it is today. By doing so, you are healing humanity from hatred; you are ushering in solidarity, friendship, and happiness at a time of great transformation. It is in your hands to determine if we go through it pleasantly and easily, or painfully and slowly.

Please spread the word,
Michael
