Question: We want to follow the path of truth, starting with Lo Lishma (for our own sake). We try to move forward on our own even though we know that everything is governed by the Creator. How can we understand what He wants from us through His actions?

Answer: All Kabbalists speak about this. The Creator desires our aspiration toward Him to be like His aspiration toward us.

And then, by mutually moving toward each other, as it is said, “I am for my Beloved, and my Beloved is for me,” we will reach a state where we meet the Creator halfway.
