Before a Convention
Question: Before a convention, we set a goal in the ten to get as close as possible to each other and give each other the strength to feel the point of unity so that it would pull us forward. Will we have some other task at the convention? How can we properly prepare ourselves?
Answer: We are learning to unite with each other. Now we are taking the first steps. The biggest problem in the spiritual world is when people who are opposite to each other must meet and unite in such a way that the upper light of the Creator can be revealed in them.
Why is this necessary? We are egoists, and we were initially created that way. If we try to unite, we succeed in this only due to the resistance to our egoism. Therefore, all our work on ourselves consists only in overcoming the ego.
In this way, everyone puts their unification with others above everything else. This is our only task in the science of Kabbalah, which explains the structure of nature, the ten Sefirot, Partzufim, Olamot, the laws of unification, and the laws of commutation.
But all of these are purely external explanations. When we try to master these forces, we experience strong mutual rejection because egoism begins to awaken and does whatever it wants with us. And we can no longer quietly read about unification and rapprochement. This is the main thing in our world, at our level.
Therefore, we must try to unite in such a way that we can have a good impression of each other and gradually come closer to each other. This is what we must do.
