Accumulation of Experience

938.05Question: When we sit in different tens during workshops, is there some similarity that we can identify whenever we change the ten?

Answer: What difference does it make?! You exist in one organism. All of humanity is one ten that now is broken into multiple parts.

This way, it is not important who you will be with, just like it is not for the cells of one body. Therefore, the most important commandment of correction is “Love your neighbor as yourself.” It means we must reach complete agreement, balance, and unity.

Thus, there is no difference with whom to sit, with these or those. On the contrary, each time you absorb from others some new aspects of connections and approaches—you toward them, and they toward you. In this way, you accumulate a great experience.

As for an entire year, you accumulate experience in one ten, while here at the congress, you can go through all these states within one week. Think about this opportunity.

Spiritual Children

947Question: Sometimes during a lesson your students start walking or doing something. How do you have patience?

Answer: When a person gets up to get a cup of coffee or cold water, I understand that he is tired, he did not get enough sleep, he is having a hard time. But I treat my students with love and understanding.

These are the people for whom I do everything; they are more important to me than children. Essentially, these are my spiritual children.

What do I have beside them? Who else will I pass this information on to? Who do I want to train? Them, to give out as much as possible through them so that they continue dissemination in the right way.

Therefore, my attitude toward them slightly softens the interference that they create. Just like a mother cannot hear her child when he or she makes noise. For her, this is normal, but for a stranger, something flickering and noisy is unbearable.

A Nation Created on the Basis of Idea

749.02All of Israel became responsible for one another. Because the Torah was not given to them before each and every one from Israel was asked if he agreed to take upon himself the Mitzva [commandment] of loving others in the full measure expressed in the words “Love your friend as yourself” [Baal HaSulam, “The Arvut” (Mutual Guarantee)].

First, there is no such nation as the people of Israel. They came into being out of people who wanted to rise above their egoism because they realized it was impossible to exist within it. That happened in ancient Babylon 3,500 years ago. People understood that if they continued to act egoistically, they would destroy themselves and each other. There was great turmoil, mutual hatred flared up, and the inhabitants of Babylon did not know what to do next.

Therefore, Abraham, the son of the high priest Terach, saw problems, internal strife, and various conflicts among the people, and began to study this phenomenon. He realized that it stemmed from the growth of egoism in each person and that the only solution was to rise above the ego and somehow balance it.

Abraham began to preach this idea among the ancient Babylonians and urged them to unite and rise above egoism to achieve proper mutual understanding, to stop killing each other, and to bring themselves to a normal state.

His father Terach also supported this, but the Babylonian king Nimrod was against it. Nimrod thought that he would lose his power because when people become closer to each other, less aggressive, and kinder, they generally do not care about authority. However, if they become hostile toward each other, a king can intervene and control them.

Therefore, Abraham had no choice but to call upon all those who agreed with his idea of unification and lead them out of Babylon to the so-called land of Canaan. Today, this is the State of Israel. Thus, they came to be called the people of Israel (Yisra-El) from the phrase “straight to the Creator” (Yashar El).

Integrate with the Friend

282.01Question: What is my internal perception when I am inside a friend?

Answer: You feel no difference between you as your desires merge. They do not just add up arithmetically, like 10 plus 10 or 20 plus 20, but in a different progression.

When you and your friend connect and can combine your desires and intentions, you get a Kli—a desire with intention, which increases, as it is said, 620 times and even much more.

Don’t Relax!

945Question: During each lesson, it feels like your intention just covers the entire field, and it is so pleasant to sit, listen, and absorb everything. Is this a good sign? Or does it indicate that I am not doing some kind of work?

Answer: This is something you need to determine for yourself. Do you feel inner tension while processing what you hear from me? Are you in a state where you must absorb it, internalize it, connect with others, and somehow realize it all?

Comment: Yes, there is such tension, but it is not clear how to convey it further.

My Response: But this is a different matter.

I will tell you one thing: you have a serious preparation and serious potential. You can indeed succeed. Don’t relax!

We must present the Creator with such a collective desire with the right intention to compel Him to reveal Himself within us. That is what we must do.

Female and Male Connection

557Question: I understand that women cannot directly connect with each other but men can. How will we feel our connection? Will it be through men and not directly with each other?

Answer: You will feel both your connection and connection with the men to the extent that you can draw closer with each other.

There is no difference between male connection and a female one. The women’s connection is even somewhat simpler. When women begin to think about the higher goal, their earthly egoism, in general, does not bother them so much.

Abraham—The Spiritual Quality

560Question: Are Abraham and Terah historical characters or spiritual qualities?

Answer: Both. Naturally these characters existed in our world as people. And from the point of view of the spiritual degree, Kabbalah, these are our inner qualities.

That is, by reaching certain spiritual degree, we will feel with our accomplishments and qualities that Abraham is in it.
