Question: Wherever Jews were expelled from, countries fell, culture, economy and everything else immediately declined. How should the peoples of the world understand that only by following Israel can one come to harmony and knowledge of the Creator? How should they help the people of Israel?

Answer: They do not really need to help. They should just learn. See what is happening to many countries. Let us hope that everything will be fine, that everyone will come to the final correction of their egoism and understand that the main thing is good and kind connections.

Question: Then why are the people of Israel so divided?

Answer: Because they are in an even worse state than the peoples of the world. Jews have no idea they should be united.

Question: But the Creator scattered them everywhere. There is not a single country in the world without Jews. Why did the Creator scatter them all over the world? Is it to gather them together again or so they will feel their destiny?

Answer: It is so that they all gather together, but before that, it is to plant a seed in every nation they are currently exiled in. They have to plant this seed there so it can sprout.

Question: Is that why Rabbi Akiva was happy when the Second Temple was being destroyed?

Answer: Of course.

Question: What is the state when all of person’s thoughts are about the Creator?

Answer: This is a state when a person fully identifies himself with the nature in which we all exist. There is nothing but one force of nature that gradually convinces us that it is the only one that exists.

Therefore, in order for us to be precisely aimed at it, this nature, that is, the Creator, creates a force opposite to itself as if playing with us by supposedly having other forces. And we must constantly keep ourselves directed at the single force of creation—the Creator.

Question: When there is the force of the Creator and the force of egoism opposing the Creator, can one somehow be in touch with the Creator in this state. It is frightening when, without any confrontation, the connection with Him is blurred and you are in some kind of worries and engagements, forgetting that He exists. How can we nonetheless make sure that literally all thoughts are about the Creator and everything will be connected with Him?

Answer: In principle, this is our work. We must always direct ourselves to this single, unique force, the Creator, who governs everything, does everything, and organizes all our thoughts and desires.

Question: Is there such a state when a person does not lose contact with the Creator and is in touch with Him all the time in any thought, in any desire?

Answer: This is already full governance. When a person reaches the full governance of the Creator, then he is in a state of limitless unification with Him (Dvekut). But this must be achieved by gradually building in yourself all your systems in knowledge, feelings, and definitions so that only the Creator appears before you.

Question: When we leave the lesson, how can we not forget about the Creator and connect every thought with Him?

Answer: To attune yourself to the Creator you must constantly, every minute, imagine that you are controlled by Him. He governs you completely. No thoughts, feelings, desires, nothing, in you happens on its own, they come only from the fact that the Creator is within you.

Actually, it is so, but you have to unite with it. Uniting with the force of the Creator that is within you is our task—gradually, gradually reveal Him in us to the extent that you will not feel anything but Him.

Question: Suppose we discover that we have a disease of distancing from the Creator. We know that unification will cure us of this disease. What should the essence of the prayer be? Should we ask for unification so that the disease will go away? Or should we simply ask for unification without telling the Creator what problem we want to be healed from?

Answer: We must ask for unification and ask for rapprochement. As a consequence of this, some problems will go away, and perhaps others will arise at a higher level. But this way we will move forward.

Question: Should we include the name of the disease in the prayer?

Answer: No, we cannot determine the name.

Question: So if there is a war, then should we simply ask for unification without mentioning in the prayer that we are asking for rapprochement so that the Creator will save us from war?

Answer: No, when things like war happen, we can ask by naming the problem and asking for salvation from it.

Question: It feels like the Creator is constantly giving us a reason to connect. As soon as we feel that we are no longer able to cope by ourselves, a special prayer is born—a prayer for the many. What else can we do to transfer and convey it to society as much as possible?

Question: Should we pray for the people of Israel to unite because they are the most broken? How should you direct yourself correctly in this regard?

Answer: To direct oneself correctly means to aim for such a unification among themselves that every nation comes to understand that a bright future can only be in unification between them.

Only in this way will we attain everything we desire, except one thing—to rule over others, to dictate to others—and will each person to understand what one’s uniqueness is, what one’s work is, and what one should do in order to benefit others.

And others will do the same for him or her, and absolute mutual love and care for one another, everyone, and everything will reign.

This is inherent in nature, it is how it should and will be. Only all this depends on us today, how much we can get at least one step closer to this. For this reason, wars occur.

Question: Should we in our prayer, internally help the people of Israel in uniting among themselves?

Answer: Yes, it is necessary to unite at this level, defend ourselves, and correct ourselves. However, the most important thing for us is to disseminate this idea to all of humanity.

It is written about this: “Seek the Lord while He is found.” That is, when the Creator presents Himself to you for asking, then you will necessarily seek Him, too, for it is man’s way to move first. In other words, the Creator first gives you the heart to seek Him.

When you know this, you will certainly grow stronger, as strong as you can ask, for the King is calling you” (Baal HaSulam, Letter No. 52).

We must constantly seek the Creator. He awakens a desire for Him in us, but in fact, He is still concealed, and we need to do some actions to come closer to Him, to find Him.

Question: How can we understand that the Creator reveals Himself for us to seek Him and that we need to make a movement in response to Him?

Answer: You can make the movement to Him only according to your desires. Where does your desire for the Creator come from? It is because He gave it to you. After all, the Creator is always the first, everything starts with Him.

If you have desire for the Creator: “Where is He, what, how am I with Him?”, it is only because He awakens such desires in you.

And you have to try to come closer to Him and cling to Him.
