No Witchcraft Against Israel

527.01Question: It is written in the Torah that there is no witchcraft against Israel, meaning against those who seek to reveal the property of bestowal, which is the Creator. Why is it so?

Answer: The root of everything that exists is the Creator. The upper force of absolute good, which manifests itself in man in the form of absolute evil, emanates from Him. Why is he created this way? So that he understands that he is in a state opposite to the Creator and wants to make himself similar to Him.

A person who aspires directly to the Creator is called Israel (Isra – straight, El – the Creator). Absolutely everyone in our world can be like this. It does not matter what color his skin is or who he is by origin. Only one thing is important: his aspiration for similarity to the Creator.

The Creator is an absolutely good force. When a person wishes to reach the state of being good and doing good to absolutely everyone in the world, he becomes similar to the Creator.

He gradually ascends the 125 steps of the spiritual world to complete similarity to Him and then is called Israel. If he does this, then practically no forces act on him except for those he needs to overcome to ascend the steps to the Creator.

He works on this in a constant aspiration to get closer to the Creator and he reaches such a state when this is his whole mission, desire, intention, thoughts, feelings, and aspirations. And therefore nothing else can affect him; he is protected.

And if anything acts on him, it is only to provide him with the resistance to overcome to draw even closer to the Creator.

Meaning Of Mutual Guarantee

934In order to reach greater importance of the mutual guarantee and to be filled with love of friends, we must feel how much we are interconnected, interdependent, and responsible for each other and that we are getting closer and closer to each other.

There is me and the Creator, and all the people on earth connect me to Him. Basically, this is my group, this is the ten, which, as a central thread, connects me to the Creator. And all the others join in more and more. Thus, my connection with the Creator becomes broad, infinite, and unlimited.

The Creator gave us only one small point of connection with the group, and by this He inspires each of us to connect with Him. All the rest we have to do ourselves.

This is the meaning of mutual guarantee: We begin to feel that we are all tied together for one spiritual action, connection between us, and from between us to the Creator.

Covenant With The Entire World

929Question: Is there such a thing as a covenant with a teacher? Or is it possible only with friends and with the Creator?

Answer: It is the same thing. Everything that a person sees in front of him is given to him now so that he can develop himself spiritually. He must make a covenant with the teacher, with his friends, and with the entire world, in order to achieve adhesion with the Creator. This is the goal.

Question: It means that while a person has not yet attained the Creator, there are friends and other people before him, and he, of course, must make a covenant with them because he does not feel the Creator, but he feels them.

But why then, when he is already in connection with the upper force, is it impossible to make a covenant with the Creator directly? Why does he have to work with people anyway?

Answer: Because this is the state in which a person can reveal the Creator, come closer to Him, and feel Him. Therefore such a covenant happens in connection with the entire world, with the entire universe, with everything that a person can feel in his five senses, and with the source of this state—the Creator.

Question: There is no Creator without a Kli (vessel)?

Answer: There can be no feelings without this. Imagine that you would not see or feel anything that is around you. It would just be emptiness! What would you detect in it?

However, through inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature and through people, the Creator talks to you; He sends you some signals.

Mutual Agreement

610.2Question: Any agreement implies the participation of two parties. Let’s say I commit to do something, and the Creator also commits. What is He obliged to do in this agreement?

Answer: The Creator obliges Himself to respond to all our appeals for correction. And if we commit ourselves to asking Him to improve us in order to achieve equivalence of form to Him, then we oblige Him to help us. This is a mutual agreement.

Question: Is the whole job basically for me to understand the need for my correction and ask the Creator about it, and then the Creator is obliged to fulfill this request if it is correct?

Answer: Yes. This is the union (Brit) that was established by the first Kabbalists, Abraham and his successors. Generally, it comes from Adam.

Question: Do we make such an agreement at all 125 degrees?

Answer: It is as if we are extending it, raising it to the level of the degree that we have attained. If I have corrected myself to some extent, then this is forever, there is no turning back.
