Question: Ancient Greek myths developed between the 10th and 8th century BC, and they influenced the culture of many nations. The Greeks gave material forms to the forces of nature. According to their beliefs, the Earth was inhabited by monsters, giants, and cyclopes.
Then the period of the philosophers started: the Sophists, the Pythagoreans, and Socrates. Some facts that belong to this period indicate that they were educated by Kabbalists. Is this really true?
Answer: To start with, the Jewish religion in its original form did not shy away from anyone who came to it because Jews themselves appeared in Ancient Babylon as a part of the population that broke away from the Babylonians and started following the principle of “love your neighbor as yourself.” This was their religion, not just a belief but an action.
All actions as a result of which a person becomes able to treat his neighbor as himself and begins to feel the entire nature through this connection are the foundation of the true Jewish religion—called Kabbalah.
