Answer: The usual envy between people is egoistic, when I envy what the other has. It doesn’t even matter if I have it too, am satisfied with it, and I feel good. Anyway, when I see it as something that gives pleasure to another, then I envy his pleasure. This is unreasonable envy, groundless envy, no matter what.
Question: So this is a consequence of our egoistic nature?
Answer: Of course.
Question: If envy is viewed as an accelerator that helps me fulfill my desires, how does it work?
Looking at them, he gets excited and also wants to advance even more in the property of bestowal and love for people, and through them to the Creator.
