Question: Are all problems sent to us by the Creator?

Answer: These are not problems but impacts on me. Only I, perhaps, misunderstand them and therefore consider them to be unnecessary and harmful. I must understand that everything comes from the Creator so that I correctly tune into Him with a correct, reverse connection.

Question: Does this mean that a Kabbalist believes that any disturbance, for example, an illness, can be regarded as the positive influence of the Creator that is capable of moving him forward?

Answer: Surely. Everything that the Creator does is aimed at bringing each of us and everyone together to Him. This is so that the whole environment, including the inanimate, vegetative, animate, and people, would not be some kind of obstacle preventing me from getting closer to Him.

One should accustom oneself to seeing only an example of His highest influence in everything and to try to react to it in the same way in return. The method of how to see the one single force behind everything is the science of Kabbalah.
