The Group Is The Orientation Toward The Goal

laitman_938.05Question: Suppose a person is trying to see himself lower than the friends and holds this goal in front of him. At the same time, he must make an inner effort. Where does he get the strength from if he is at a point where he does not yet see them above himself?

Answer: I must explain to myself that the aspiration and the achievement of the goal do not depend on me. My task is to receive the aspirations of the group and fulfill them.

It seems to a person that he has a goal, a direction, that he knows everything, can do anything, and that everything depends on him, or at most on the Creator. Yet in fact, the orientation toward the goal is provided by the group, and the goal itself is in the center of the group, in the correct connection between everyone.

Therefore, I completely depend on the group. When I first choose the goal, I determine that by my efforts I am leading the whole group to it, adding everything from myself that they need to achieve it.

I make efforts to absorb their aspiration and excitement toward the goal. I try to get closer to them by being above, below, and equal to them, because it is in them that I will reach adhesion with the Creator. All my work is concentrated inside the group.

Work On The Mistakes

laitman_571.04Question: How often do you realize that you were mistaken in something?

Answer: Very often. But I try to draw some conclusions from this, correct them, and move on.

In principle, every next step should be based on the correction of the previous one. A correction is possible if you appreciate your mistakes.

This is why it is said: “For there is not a righteous man on earth that does good and sins not.” That is, our every step should consist of: mistake-fix, mistake-fix. This is how we advance.

Therefore, I often tell my students: “I check whether it is worth doing so or not. Let’s think together, maybe it is too difficult for you. Maybe we will take a step back.”

I do not hide this because it is necessary in order to teach people how to relate correctly to moving forward. Moreover, it can only happen through mistakes. The work on the mistakes is what’s most important.

Do We Have To Wait 6,000 Years?

laitman_228Question: If we are all parts of a unified system and only together can reach the upper Light after 6,000 years, what is the point of individual souls reaching the upper world? One still has to wait for the rest.

Answer: There is no need to wait. Kabbalists did not expect anything. All the time, both in past centuries and today, they attain the upper world and reach the end of correction. This supreme, complete, and harmonious correction awaits all of us!

Do not think that if we correct ourselves now and fix the world with this, we will have to wait until the year 6,000. No! Time does not exist. As soon as we become corrected, we get it. The perfect state is ready, it exists, and everything depends only on when we reveal it!
