We waste time in life when we flow after the egoistic desire of the body that just wants to rest like a cat in the sun. In this way, we strive to be effective and efficient because this fulfills our egos. Kabbalists use their time effectively because it is important for them to correct the world and connect humanity. They have purposeful, important, and personal goals as well as a supportive environment in which to achieve their goals. They do not automatically follow the majority of the public or aim to be accepted by mainstream society. We can achieve effective self-realization without tension by changing our attitudes from hatred of others to love and from struggle to connection.
